Happy New Year! This weekend brings our first New Moon for the 2019! New Moons are all about setting intentions for the next Luna cycle…This New Moon is at 15° Capricorn. To make it extra special, it will be a partial solar eclipse. A solar eclipse is practically the same as a New Moon, when the Moon passes between Earth and the Sun and is darkened. However, a Solar Eclipse is more powerful because the Moon darkens the Sun. This Solar Eclipse in January 2019 astrology speaking means we will feel its effects for six months, unlike a New Moon which energy is felt for the coming month. New Moons are all about a fresh new start, and what a perfect time to begin as it is the new year to set practical intentions you want to achieve over the coming few months.
The Moon and the Sun are both in Capricorn sitting both 15 degrees. The Moon is pitch black at this point and its recharging itself for the new Luna cycle ahead. This month it is recharging itself and pulling in lots of with Capricorn energy. Whether it is in the form of your career, your home, perhaps starting a family, starting a business, organisation of your daily routine or achieving your dream job! Capricorn does not give up, it forges ahead no matter the obstacle! The grounded energy of this sign means we wont give up, so if you come across challenges such as your creative or business plans efforts don’t immediately kick off, don’t get frustrated, think long-term and remember this New Moon will keep you focused and determined. keep your eye on the prize and remember all the hard work you put in now will pay off when the time is right!

Capricorn New Moon!
The New Moon occurs in the cardinal earth sign of Capricorns at 26 degrees. This is exciting as this New Moon is commencing a new lunar cycle. This First New Moon and lunar cycle of the year will focus on the constructive traits of grounded Capricorn. It’s a time for us to focus on Capricorn’s positive traits such as being goal orientated, practicality, reliable, disciplined, to focus on our work and career and the foundations and structures in our daily lives.
This Capricorn New Moon occurs tonight at 9:18 PM EST. New Moons are occur when the Sun and Moon join together, blending their energies. Causing the Moon to be in compete darkness as it joins the Sun and recharges its batteries,as one would say for the next lunar cycle.. This New Moon will be at 27° Capricorn. New Moon traditionally are a time for planting seeds of intention, to manifest your dreams, ambitions, goals and projects. It’s also a time to be looking at the future and setting goals. However Uranus in Aries may not appreciate this softness and feels less comfortable with this idea as it squares the New Moon. This means some of us may tend to lean towards being impulsive and restlessness whilst others are overly focused on security and safety. This New Moon, we may need to master and push past whatever is our particular blockage, whatever makes us feel vulnerable, to gain an edge on our own growth. With wild, unpredictable Uranus in the mix, you may find yourself wanting to move forward but feeling held back by some restrictive outside or inner force. 111 Master Number… What does this Number symbolize?
Do you ever see the same repeated numbers everywhere you look? Lately whether it is on my clock, the bus route, on a receipt, my heart rate on my fit bit today and most other days 111 BPM , I keep seeing 111. Even the date today is 11/1/18, hence why I thought it great day to write a little blurb about the number 111! These numbers aren’t coincidences, they are messages from the universe inviting us to be an example of positive change, especially for people who are known as light workers.
Lets start from the beginning. In numerology, numbers hold a certain vibration and a certain power behind them, some more than others. 111, well this number carries the combined attributes and energies of the number 1 and the master number 11. Oh La La! 111 is one of the most powerful numbers in numerology, as each number is not as special as others, and this crazy cool combination has special powers, including manifestation and magic.

Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius!
On the 8th August we see a partial luna eclipse. Luna and solar eclipse are potent as their effects can last up to 6 months. The last one we experienced was in February of this year. Now this month we have two lots of eclipse here in August. How exciting!
A little background on eclipses. lunar eclipses are massive full Moons. As the Earth moves and rotates it comes between the Sun and the Moon, thus resulting in blocking the Sun’s light and a shadow being cast on the Moon. This shadow of an eclipse is not total, it is partial, so it is not fully dark. So we will only see a small portion of the moon go dark.
Full Moons are known too brings things to crisis point or a climax. With the shadow of the earth sweeping across part of this Full Moon, it can symbolize the unconscious part of our self. lunar eclipses are great for bringing to Light the hidden shadow areas of our self and our life that are not being looked at ( much to people’s dismay). What has been surfacing within you of late? have you been grumpy, snappy or moody? maybe its your soul trying to tell you something, sit in silence and listen!
Something to remember, Eclipses are not by their own nature good or bad. If you cringe at the thought of Full Moons and Eclipse bringing things to light, or things we tend to push down deep inside, maybe its time to stop twisting fate and accept what needs to be changed. Yes, they can sweep in stir things up but they also move things forward in your life! Eclipse’s can be dramatic and can be both exhilarating and scary.
It’s important to think about the signs involved too and what they represent. As we have the Sun in playful Leo and the Moon in humanity Aquarius. This Leo/Aquarius Axis like with all oppositions, gives us an opportunity, you can either focus on what divides or work together to create unity out of polarity.
The Sun is shining Leo energy down onto the Moon in Aquarius. The Sun in Leo is energised, fun, loving. It’s really fiery and playful, and now the Moon is picking up on this energy. However Aquarius is a sign that loves being of service, its humanitarian its intellect, it’s using the other side of your brain and thinking outside the box. Its forward and very future orientated.

So some of you may experience issues or awkwardness around fitting in or not during this eclipse. Questions can come up at this time like where do I belong? Who do i feel comfortable to team up with? However the uncertainty of fear of comparing yourself and over thinking if other people don’t get who you are, and what you are trying to achieve.
The Sun shines bright when it is in Leo, It illuminates and beams down on you like you are center stage.The Sun finds it hard to shine in Aquarius because it has to share the limelight. Leo energy is creative, energetic, passionate! This aspect of the eclipse is about finding and revealing your identity, unearthing your unique skills and talents, helping you shed old fears and encourages you to discover what makes you ‘you’.
Yes we will be showered with humanitarian energy, and creative loving Leo energy along with having an opportunity to help others and guess what this is an eclipse the effects of this will last 6 months so thank you God and the Universe for giving the world a chance to look out for others. The Full Moon happens in the sign of Capricorn this month. This months Full Moon is going to be a very beautiful, positive transformative Full Moon. This Moon has Pluto sitting right next to it and it has the potential to be life changing.

What a powerful statement I heard last night, and this got me thinking to the life events that have unfolded before my eyes over the past six weeks! I unexpectedly apply for a home loan, got accepted within two weeks. I than had a blessing when a friends mother was selling her beach side home in my price range and now 5 weeks later I am practically an official home owner of my dream house ( finalizing the building reports and bank). I had held the intention of manifesting this so strong, even through all the bumps in the road I knew what my goal was and I kept a positive mind.. well most days, i had to ground myself in hard times but i still kept the faith. I smiled in times when i wanted to break down and cry, but my vision was clear and in the back of my head i knew ” What you think and feel you become and manifest”. My Mother said – Andy why are you stressing about circumstance and situations that have not even happened, whats the point of wasting your happiness and energy on things you have no control over. At that point i released my energy and focus was on the negative. “what if i don’t get this, have enough money, what if im declined or i don’t find home”. Her words than clicked, a huge Aha moment and i changed my thoughts and attitude and well the results were life changing for the positive. Thanks Mum, the Universe and the law of attraction!

How to be spiritual in the modern world
I bet you have heard before the saying, ” have you found your tribe yet” well in this crazy, hectic, social media filled world its hard not to want to be part of something bigger than yourself. These days there is more spiritual “tribes” and religions around that its hard to figure out what one do you feel more comfortable and connect with.
Spirituality has so many definitions and meaning to each person that one is not more important than the other, so how can you incorporate your curiosity, creativity and gain wisdom in your life? Here is a guide to increasing awareness and strengthening your relationship with yourself and the wonderful world around you.
- There is not right or wrong way to express yourself.
- Find someone who is in line with your values and that you admire. Let them guide you. Who inspires you? Who drives and motivates you to change and grow for the better? It can be someone of this time or a previous life!
- Use the Moon as a guide. Yes our ancestors before us have been using the Moon as a guide, for rituals, agriculture, manifesting and healing. The Moon controls the tides and water on earth so what makes you think it can’t rule our emotional? our body is made up of 70% water, Use the Moon phases as a guide to helping you through the month, New Moons are for manifesting, Full Moons area time for releasing that which no longer serves a purpose in our life – people, emotions, habits.
- Smudging. Burn some white sage to cleanse your home, office, anything that occupies your personal space. Sage is traditionally been used for healing, cleansing AND PURIFYING and medicinal purposes. Smudging is a great way of dispelling any bad left of energy and negative influences. it’s believed the left over smoke detox and purifies a room,home, object and person.. give it a try!
- Use your intuition instead of your logic. Ever get that ” Gut feeling” when you knew that knot in the pit of your stomach was telling you something than your brain was registering was right.. ” I just had that feeling, The bad feeling wouldn’t ease up, we have an internal compass that guides us, that feeling is the balance between the head and the heart.. start listening you will be surprised on how well it guides you.
- Start off small. If it all seems to much to begin with and nothing seems to resonate with you, take small steps at a time. New belief systems and practices can be overwhelming so take it back a step and do what feels right for you.

- Complain less! There is no point wasting your time, energy and emotions on situations and circumstances you can’t change.
- Don’t think about the value of money! Stressing about money causes you to attract a negative frequency and it can weigh you down. Simplify your life, do what your heart tells you to do. You can afford a happy, fulfilling life, what brings joy to your life? rather than determining whether it will be cost-effective just do it, don’t deny yourself the pleasures of life because of some monetary detail, don’t base your happiness on a discount. If we focus on the lack in our life, or a price tag you create a barrier of resistance. Don’t make money the guiding principle for what you have or do or your soul happiness, free yourself from placing a price on everything you do and have, try to see the value on everything and not the dollar price after all the world of spirit does not have a dollar price on the actual value of something.
Just remember every moment of your life is an opportunity to start fresh, no one wins or looses as a person and you can always dance to the beat of your own drum.Take every sweet unexpected moment as blessing and enjoy life.

How to create a New Moon Ritual
At each new moon , we can plant seeds for what we want to grow over the next 30 days. It can be literal “seeds” in terms of initiating new activities , meetings , joining a gym, organising importing events or enrolling in a course . Or it can be symbolic ” seeds” , be creating rituals that help to ground our intentions. Through rituals we bring alive the magic forces that help create our intentions and heart desires.
Every New moon that comes around I use it as a checkpoint for my life, an opportunity to think of my hearts desires and as a self-examination of what I want to change and improve within, and around myself. Its like I get to re write a self “to do list”, it’s a mental, emotional and spiritual clean slate.
So new moons are all about
- New beginnings
- New Adventures
- New Endeavor
- New relationships
- Positive changes
- Optimism Hope and Faith
The New Moon is the perfect time to manifest what you wish to have in your life. It is a wonderful time to introduce new beginnings, projects and desires you wish for.
Setting your New Moon Intentions in Motion
I always begin by setting aside some time by myself at night, as its best done closer to when the moon’s power is full force. Don’t stress if this is not an option… you can also do this in the morning, take yourself on a coffee date before work (I swear its written in a scared journal that this ritual is best done with the magic power of a coffee and melting moment cookie and if not I think it’s a new tradition that ill be passing on to anyone that will believe me).
Supplies you Need:
- Notebook
- Pen and coloured felt tip pens (For doodling and drawing magic unicorns and your new dream swim wear)
- Your imagination
Optional supplies (That you would find at my New moon ritual)
- Yummy scented Candle or incense burner, with lavender or peppermint to awaken the third eye and crown chakra,
- Meditation music or relaxing sounds to help block out outside noise and help you unwind and refocus your energy to the task at hand. Or if silence or rock music is what helps you focus, than by all means I have created some very amazing wishes and intentions with Led Zeppelin playing in the background
- Hot chocolate for brain fuel (Because the brain can not store energy, it needs a continuous supply of fuel. As our brains consume 60 percent, or about 450 calories each day of the sugar coursing through our bloodstreams, that’s a justifiable couple of hot chocolates and a candy bar worth of energy)
Traditional ritual Supplies for the old school folks:
- smudge sticks (Cleanse your sacred area with an opening prayer, a sage smudging)
- incense
- meditation music
- Crystal grid and/or alter with objects you find sacred or embody physically the goals you would like to achieve.
Here we go….
- Light one or more candles, maybe create a crystal grid and/or alter with objects you find sacred, or embody physically the goals you would like to achieve like a picture of your camera to help you master photography, a clip of a place you want to visit, a picture of the body you want to achieve ( through the intention of ercercise and diet trudst me there isnt a magic sure for weightloss).
- Center your being and calm yourself in whatever way is appropriate for you. Take some deep cleansing breaths, turn on your meditation music to listen to, and/or leisurely sip on a cup of relaxing hot chocolate or herbal tea.
- Relax, take it slow and let the wish and intentions flow
- write in detail on what you would like to manifest ( it makes it easier to feel like you already have this when you can see it unfolding in your head in detail.)
- Once you have finished writing your list, i what you want to manifest in your life remember that its very important to feel like these items are already yours, feel the emotion behind having them.. Happiness , joy, gratitude, motivated, empowerment, hope and love.
- It is essential that you keep your thoughts positive as this rises your vibrations. The universe responds to your vibrations like a magnet so happy, pleasant positive emotions carry high vibrations, so the universe will respond by giving you high vibrations gifts in return. Say if you want to attract wealth ,you think positive thoughts about money ( even if you don’t have much) and you focus on what you have not on what you don’t have. Same if you constantly give off low vibrations such as anger, impatience, worry, insecurity, blame and any other negative thinking you will attract situations and people that reflect those vibrations, for example when something doesn’t work out and get mad and state ” nothing good every happens to me, or im always the one who gets picked last, no one cares about me, im always get walked over by people, i hate the world” Emotional statements these (especially when you are mad, because you have so much powerful emotion behind saying them) tells the universe thats what yo want and that what you expect so it matches your vibrations. Understand?
- Now this part is important, once you have set your new moon intentions and read over them, you must not over think or stress how they will come to you, no demanding ” why haven’t’ i got my new bike yet”, you need to trust the universe divine timing , if its meant to be it will be, and if you don’t get what you wished for, maybe it was not the right time for you to have it, I know it took me a few months of wishing for a new bike before one day i got to work and my boss had this cute white bicycle sitting in my office , he said he just bought it for his wife and she went for one rife on it and didn’t like cycling and he thought the bike suited me and how much i would enjoy cycling to work instead of waling each day….
- When you do get to experience that magical feeling of crossing off an item off your list don’ forget to thank the universe for bringing it to you, after all the power of gratitude excels your power of manifestation

It should be noted, to keep in mind that our words and thoughts are vibrations, wether our words or thoughts are created subconsciously in positive or negative manor, so any intentions imagined, stated or written down carry power. So take care to really manifest exactly what you would like, by feeling that vibration. The saying “Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.” rings true here. And remember.. you are not to manifest anything regarding the free will of another person. So you can’t ask the universe to bring you a certain person, as the another person is involved has their own intentions you cannot control what he/she will do, and you cannot ask the universe to force someone to feel or act a certain way about you. So no trying to ask the universe to make Zac Effron to fall madly in love with you…. SIGH

This month we will experience a powerful Full Moon in Scorpio on April 22, 2016. This supercharged Full Moon will amplify our desires. Scorpio is a passionate sign, in everything it touches, self, relationships, work and play and this energy sets the stage for meaningful personal transformation this Full Moon.
Scorpio’s are intense and feel things deeply. So prepare for a Full Moon of extremes. As the New Moon approaches us have you ever sat and wondered what people are talking about when they mention the “New Moon” and no it’s not a book in the Twilight series I am talking about.
The “New Moon” is the start of the lunar cycle. The new lunar cycle occurs approximately once every 29 days. This is a time when the Moon, Sun and Earth, Moon are roughly positioned in a line, with the Moon sitting between the Earth and the Sun. This is why you can’t see the moon hovering in the night sky. This is often referred to ( and not just by Pink Floyd) as the dark side of the moon.
This “Dark moon” in many cultures such as the Hebrew and Chinese, represents the start of the calendar month. The first day of the new moon is considered to be the finest day to begin undertaking any new project or task or in many belief systems it is the time to plant a seed of what you want to grow in your life. Making a wish, a promise or to set an intention is a common practice. It is believed that as the moon grows, that your goal or intention will too …
We are still in that 48 hour time zone where New Moon wishes and intentions can create abundance. Make those wishes count. When you harness the energy with the power of pure intention, the universe is ready to manifest miracles. A great moon mantra to use to raise your vibrations and create positive mind set is “I see the New Moon and the New Moon sees me, I wish for abundance to come to me.” and Feel and imagine like what you intend on manifesting or wishes for as already yours..

Early this morning and late last night while you were sleeping the second eclipse of the month, a Full Moon lunar eclipse occurred. Lunar Eclipses are just like regular Full Moon only stronger, its effects will be felt for the next 6 months. During this Full Moon lunar eclipse, we are offered a unique opportunity to reset our emotions along with a chance to clear away much discomfort or old energy from recent months. Think back over the past few months? Can you see a past issue or problem that clearly has seemed beyond view until now? Open your eyes, you may be surprised at what you have missed over the past few months that is now so clearly obvious.
This month’s Full Moon is in the playful sign of Leo. A Full Moon traditionally is when the Sun and the Moon are at 180 degrees of each other, this mean the Sun in Aquarius forms an opposition with the Moon in Leo. A Full Moon is a completion point of the Luna cycle. As it is completely illuminated with light, it showers us with not only Luna but solar energy. Lunar Eclipse’s interrupt this recharging of the Moon that is why eclipses are so powerful, important and its effects last six months.
This Full Moon in Leo will be fiery, energetic, charged and upbeat! This Moon will also be a Super Moon, meaning it appears much larger to our naked eye here on earth. The total lunar eclipse at 0 degrees Leo will mark the half way point of the current Eclipse season we are in. We had a partial Solar eclipse in Capricorn on 5th January, 2019. Eclipse are basically a radical time of change, growth and healing, and this Eclipse lines up with the North Node which is all about our destiny and karma.

The Sun cojoins Pluto at 20’56 Capricorn. This aspect happens once a year, so today is the power day of the week. This Sun/Pluto alignment will get us asking ourselves what area of our life do we need to transform , to heal or empower? This is the time to have a life review. Whats your life purpose? What goals or plans do you or do you want to put in place this year? Revisit and revise all your ambitions and make sure what you desire or want to achieve is held on solid ground. The energy right now is incredible for transformation but it also has the capability to unearth some very intense energy when it comes to control and power dynamics. Good Morning, How did everyone’s day go yesterday with all that intense energy floating around? If words were said, today is the day to let go of resentment, frustrations and apologize if needed. Let it go and move on with the day.
Jupiter in Sagittarius sesquiquadrates Uranus in Aires. Jupiter’s transit in Sadge will be a long-term affair. Today marks the first of three for this year, we experience another in June then again in October. Expect some tension between the planet of expansion, abundance, excess and the cheeky rebel and revolutionary planet. The tense nature of this aspect could create overly excess energies of self-righteousness, relentlessness, over spending, general over doing and working, overly offending others and taking action without thinking of the consequences. Last week Mercury the planet that rules they way we think and communicate entered the serious sign of Capricorn. Today as Mars and Mercury square each other there will be tension and friction felt in the way we handle and communicate with others. Mars represents our inner warrior, it’s the planet that represent action. It also at times can be aggressive, fiery, impulsive and argumentative. This is especially true as Mars is in its home sign of feisty Aires, so don’t be to surprised if today you find yourself going from 0 to 100 with frustration in regards to the way you think and communicate. This aspect is great if you need a confidence boost or a need to assert yourself but be warned do so with awareness. New Moon in Sagittarius
New Moon in Sagittarius 2018.
Last week we had a New Moon on Friday, December 7th, in the sign of Sagittarius.
The Sun and Moon conjunct each at 15 degrees and 7 minutes, which created the darkness of the New Moon. This New Moon occurs in the flamboyant sign of Sagittarius. Sagittarius is represented by the Centaur. This New Moon will be not only recharging but pulling in the traits of Sagittarius! The energy is that of the Archer, the optimistic, eager to learn, to explore, is enthusiastic, honest, independent and adventurous. This New Moon is in the fiery, mutable adventurous Sagittarius, and we all know Sagittarius love fresh starts and new beginning. It is a time to align yourself with the New Moon energy, to feel whats energy is being pulled in by the Moon and in this case, its optimistic, fun-loving, happy, adventurous, philosophical and helpful energy of Sagittarius.

Mars in Pisces squares Jupiter in Sagittarius! This square aspect between the planet that represents our drive and ego and the planet of abundance and luck is going to stir up some tension today. As Mars who represents our inner drive, attitude and will power clashes with our optimism, ego and expansion, watch out for being triggered, agitated and riled up easily today! These two energies combining means we have tendencies to overdo, over react and become very restless. The energy can go from 0 – 100 in an instant and quick tempers and fast tongue never ends up serving us well. With Mars squaring Jupiter today, we may be competitive, protective, excitable, overactive or hyper responsive to any given situation today. If you feel yourself getting agitated or annoyed easily take a breath and walk away, it is not worth creating tension today
This energy however is good for action, enthusiasm and initiation. Need an extra boost at work? A Home? Use the energy wisely to be task orientated and focused. Nonetheless, there is a fine line between firmly chasing your dreams and, not taking down and destroying those in your way for selfish reasons. It’s especially not OK to criticize those who feel and think differently to you today dear ones!

Pulling at your Heart and your Mind

Early this morning, Venus the planet of love and beauty turns direct in the sign of Libra. Making the planet of love and beauty one of two of the most influential planets in our sky today. Since early October our love, relationships, finances as well as our ability to turn inwards has been out of whack and under a microscope, as well as our ability to understand our most personal values which has also been under a microscope. Over the coming weeks as Venus stations direct you will be able to make the necessary changes to improve these areas of your life. Now, as we move forward you can breathe a sigh of relief. Being in its home sign of Libra expect your diplomacy in love and relationships to return as your seek out a balanced and harmonious atmosphere. Gradually over the next few weeks expect your relationships and finances to move forward more easily. Clarity and confidence will emerge again in our social and love life. As Venus returns from her journey in the deep shadows, you along with many others have been facing your shadows and fears around love, self – love, money and your own self-worth and values. I hope during Venus retrograde you had time to reflect and focus on yourself and your own need’s or perhaps you had a chance to heal and reflect on your part in any dramas of your love lives and financial situations. Consider what you have learned since early October and you should be able to understand the adjustments that my be needed.
All good news aside, unfortunately the universe likes to have that silver lining…Mercury stations retrograde at 13’29 Sagittarius. Bringing the planet of communication and thinking into focus..This is the cosmic joke for today, Mercury goes retrograde on the same day that Venus turns direct. Today marks the beginning of its retrograde cycle in Sagittarius before it returns to the sign of Scorpio on December 1st. Mercury retrograde will remain until December 6th. Mercury rules over our thought process, the mental realm and communication. Now as Mercury energy is turning backwards except to hit a few bumps along the road especially in regards to technology, thinking, travel and our communication with not only others but internally! Mercury retrograde is a time to rethink, review and revise the past. Mercury retrograde is not a time to begin new projects, or be tempted to start new commitments, new relationships, or new jobs if possible! This also includes avoiding signing new contracts or leases. Instead its a time of contemplation, review and its especially a great time to catch up on tasks and projects that have been left undone. Don’t be afraid of Mercury retrograde its a great time to tie up loose ends, for healing and finally putting to rest issues that keep arising. Get a notebook and a pen, every time you think of a new idea or if a new creative project comes to mind make a list so you can begin them once Mercury retrograde is over! Even better write a list of everything that you have begun over the past few months but have not completed start working on getting them accomplished.
