Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse at 4° Aquarius.

Full Moon blessings, everyone. Today brings us to the big deal a Lunar Eclipse big deal. Today is the Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse at 4° Aquarius. A Lunar Eclipse always occurs on a Full Moon and is basically an amped-up magnified Full Moon on steroids. This eclipse is extra potent astronomically as it’s the longest total lunar eclipse in the 21st century, how exciting. This Full Moon is known as a Blood Moon and its energy is steering us in a direction of change and progress.

A Full Moon is where the Sun and Moon are sitting at 180 degrees from each other. The Moon is completely illuminated and thus showers us with its Luna energy here on earth. Traditionally a Full Moon is a completion point of the lunar cycle and is when the Moon recharges its batteries. We also experience a burst of strong energy as the Moon is highlighted with the Suns energy and that is why people here on earth can act strange or loony during a Full Moon.a Total Lunar Eclipse, is when  the Earth passes between the Sun & the Moon, the Earth with block the Suns rays from FULLY reaching the Moon, thus the Moon is fully cast within Earth’s shadow.

The Total Lunar Eclipse at 4’44 Aquarius is right smack on aggressive and sharp Mars retrograde on the karmic south node and comes in close contact to rebellious Uranus. These are very volatile energies coming into play. This also means for us we have some MAJOR  intensification of the karmic energies we are working with or through. I wont lie these next few days has the potential to cause emotional distress and detachment as Aquarius energy offers perspective and even indifference or distance if necessary.The difficulties deep rooted in this eclipse may unfold in our personal circumstances or you may watch it unfold in the outer world. Pay attention!

We also have Mars at closest alignment with Earth from July 27th-31st. He will appear to us  the brightest he has been since 2003 and a fun fact Mars will outshine Jupiter by 1.8 times.

Mars Retrograde is going to be a time when many of us are faced with shadow work. It’s main focus and a chance for us to change will be transforming our relationship, within and without of us. Unfortunately these shadow aspects are going to bring up certain dynamics around our ego, anger, jealously, aggression and rage in our personal relationships, but it does give us a chance to bring any underlying issues to light for transformation and change. Watch your temper and the urge to snap at those you love. Remember that trying to be all things to all people vs having real relationships is about finding a balance without giving to much away or alternatively taking to much for others. Aquarius luna energy means we will be more independent and creative whilst seeking change and being service to others.

As I mentioned this eclipse forms a square to Uranus, and Uranus loves to present us with the most unexpected plot twist! Today can be a sense of surprise, shock, or frustration as we get answers or revolutions into the emotions we’re confronted now with the eclipse.This Full Moon eclipse detach from others and your own mind and let go.

Look for the area or house in your chart that holds 4° Aquarius. This will highlight and indicates the area of life that requires a great deal of attention over the coming months. Remember this Eclipse energy can be felt for months after the event has happened. A new story or a change in the story in this area of life will develop from what occurs now. So pay attention.

This Full Moon the energy is steering us in a direction of change and progress. keep your eyes open as you give of yourself to help others. Helping others is the best way to care for yourself. Release what no longer works for you or is holding you down! Breath and let go, try to enjoy this eclipse it truly is a turning point.

The Moon is in Sagittarius

The Moon in Sagittarius forms a challenging aspect to both Venus and Neptune.

The Sun in Leo sesquiquadrates retrograde Neptune in Pisces.

There may be a sense of listlessness in the air when you awake this morning. You’d like to pull the covers over your head and resist facing the day at all.

The Moon is in Sagittarius which normally keeps us feeling upbeat, adventurous, open and ready to learn and experience new ideas and directions. However, the Moon forms a challenging aspect to both Venus and Neptune. Today don’t be surprised if you feel as you are being pulled in different directions, or somewhat unmotivated and lazy! As much as you’d like to pull the covers over your head and resist facing the day or looking for an easy escape may seem like the ideal thing to do, however I can assure you that if you push yourself to experience or see things differently you will be very pleased, the world may even look different if you try just a little today. This will be especially true if you push yourself a bit to see or experience something you have resisted in the past.

The Sun in Leo sesquiquadrates retrograde Neptune in Pisces. When the planet of mysticism and dreams clashes with our ego and conscious self it creates tension between OUR reality and delusions. Try not to avoid reality today, finding a happy medium between your spirit and ego is the key for today! It’s a day for working on your creativity, dreams and spiritual; practice, however don’t get to hard on yourself or caught up in the fine details try to honor your flaws and best qualities.

Venus in Virgo opposes retrograde Neptune in Pisces.

The Moon enters Capricorn.

The emotional environment is calm and uneventful for most of Tuesday with the Moon  in Sagittarius for most of the morning. We do get a reality check when the Moon enters Capricorn later today. Responsibilities and work commits become clearer today as you get back into routine and structure. Capricorn is all hard work in order to develop integrity and mastery in all parts of your life. Use this energy to get those important tasks done, to get your head in order and make a plan! No more getting lost or caught up in Sagittarius whimsy, adventurous and escapism ways.

Venus in Virgo opposes retrograde Neptune in Pisces. This will cause some tension as the both planets energy are at an opposition with each other. Tension when it comes to romantic matters and our deepest wants and needs or lack of are exacerbated today, some will be in denial looking at love or current relationships through rose-coloured glasses. Don’t jump to any conclusions or make any decisions as it is unlikely that you have all the information necessary to do so. Venus and Neptune normally can be lovely for creativity, romance, compassion and self-less service. but at an opposition with each other concerns in our relationships and finances will be playing on our mind. The key for today is to find balance, compassion and understanding whilst using your discernment and being honest.

Scorpio Moon forms a challenging square aspect to retrograde Mars

The Scorpio Moon forming a sextile to Venus and then forming a conjunction to  Jupiter.

This morning may start out a bit rough for some as the Scorpio Moon forms a challenging square aspect to retrograde Mars. This can cause some tension and friction between you and anyone on your path! Try to avoid arguments or blowing your fuse this morning as it will be very easy to lose your cool and frustrations can go from 0 to 100 in a split second.Keep in mind that retrograde Mars’ provides us with an opportunity to explore, dissolve, and eliminate toxic anger.

The Crescent Moon in Libra.

Today offers a day with very little planetary activity as the Moon gently flows through charming, pleasant Libra. One thing to remember about Libra is that it is ruled by Venus and being an Air sign it is fundamentally an intellectual charming sign that focuses on relationships, beauty and harmony. As the Moon rules our emotions and Libra rules our heart today is a great day to engage with others! Get out and be social, catch up with friends. The Moon is in Virgo before it enters Libra.

 The Cancer Sun sextiles the Virgo Moon.

Today begins with harmonious sextile between the Virgo Moon to the Cancer Sun. This sextile or ‘feel good’ energy is great for those who need to get work done, if you need a    boost or spark of organisation and motivation. New Moon Solar Eclipse in Cancer.

The New Moon Solar Eclipse in Cancer forms an opposition to both the Sun and Moon to Pluto in Capricorn.

Today we have a partial solar eclipse at 20’41 Cancer.  This eclipse is the first in the Cancer/Capricorn polarity series! What is activated or brought to Light for you right now can give you insight into the next 19 months. The effects of the Eclipse can last up to six months. The energy being brought forth will be one of family, home life and career and work life, most importantly finding a healthy balance between them both. Look in your chart to see if either of the signs are present, it will give you a clue on what to work and focus your New Moon intentions on!

So not only do we have a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Cancer, we have the Sun opposing Pluto and then the New Moon opposing Pluto.This opposition happens once a year. Therefore it is important for us to understand that we may not be to familiar with this combination of energies. Since March 9th of this  Jupiter, the planet that represents abundance, luck, expansion and higher understanding and growth has been retrograde. During the time of Jupiter’s retrograde, we have been internally reviewing and revising our beliefs and understanding of our personal path and our growth. Today as Jupiter stations direct at 13’20 Scorpio now it is a time to trust in your revision and hope it has done its work. Be ready to move in this new direction on your path . You are ready to move forward with a new enlightened outlook.

The Moon enters Gemini.

Venus enters Virgo.

Don’t be surprised if you wake up this morning with an overriding desire to procrastinate, this is due to the Moon still being in Taurus this morning. When the Moon is in Taurus we seek creature comforts, overindulging in foods and well.. we love to be lazy and lounge around.

This laid back attitude procrastination  in part is also to do with Mercury forming a square aspect to Jupiter that happens in the early hours of the day. You may feel strongly resistant to others direction and advise.We also search for meaning to our life and our place in life. This is a day you don’t want a boss or an authority figure at work. Oftentimes this energy leads to exaggeration or misjudgment so be careful in the way you speak to or with others. The procrastination will fall away by lunch time as the Moon enters Gemini. The mood lightens up and conversation became more interesting, intelligent and witty.  You can re-engage with whatever needs to be done with less internal protest.

Venus leaves playful Leo behind to enter humble Virgo until August 6th.Venus has been in Leo since the June 13th, and lets say this is not a modest and humble sign.  However now it is in Virgo expect to be more discerning in your relationships as well as you develop some refinement. Your eye is on the smallest details when it comes to romance, beauty and the finer things in life. When Venus is in Virgo we expect nothing but refinement. We are focused on vanity and on pretensions to perfection. During Venus transit through Virgo the way we express love and beauty will be through earthy practical means such as gestures, mastering the fine details of your relationships and  being of service to others and devoted. This transit gives all of us the opportunity to take a step backwards and review your current relationships both personal and business. Chiron stations retrograde at 2’25 Aires.

These first few days of the week are relatively easy ones. But this will all come to a stand still as Chiron turns retrograde added with Mars retrograde energy These aspects further reinforce a need to take it slowly, no quick or rash decision-making. It’s better not to jump to conclusions and think before we speak and act.

Chiron stations retrograde at 2’25 Aires. With the wounded healer being the most powerful energy in our sky today its a time to reflect, heal and address deep wounds that need to transformed! However when Chiron is in play even more so when its stationing retrograde it can bring up certain emotions that can be particularly hard to make sense of. They may not be so much the happy-go-lucky ones we all love. Today don’t be surprised if you start to feel overwhelmed, tense, anxious and or even angry as repressed emotions and wounds surface! It’s a is a good time for introspection. Chiron will be Retrograde until December 9th of this year! There is a massive potential for healing and self evolution and soul growth!

It’s a time to assess your life. Especially the areas of health that concern you, this includes your metal , emotional, physical and spiritual. This period gives us an opportunity to face wounds and old hurts as well as look at your past conditioning around particular energies or how you react with certain emotions, especially towards masculine and aggressive traits! We must also look out for being over critical and judging others. If you find yourself going over your relationships with a fine tooth comb, stop! The key to using Chiron retrograde energy is to find the insights and healing available in all situations you are presented with! Healing and wholeness are the goal of Chiron.
