The universe can only pick up blissfulness and happiness connected with the oneness and the source! It’s connected with joy, acceptance, love and forgiveness for example. It really picks up these vibrations and speeds the process of manifesting what we want. Get rid of sorrow, fear, worry and hate.. all these negative ego based emotions confuse the universe and we delay to manifest!

To choose and bring your consciousness to a place of happiness and acceptances, of what is and what will be, Will bypass all the turmoil and grief! So let’s get on and get moving in a positive direction and get in a state of bliss!

Choose today to be happy! It’s no body else responsibility for your own happiness but you! Wake up in the morning and decide what day you will have .Be aware and conscious, don’t just go through a day for the sake of it. Choose today to begin the journey of happiness and put out to the universe what you want to manifest.

Where intention goes energy flows!

What a powerful statement I heard last night, and this got me thinking to the life events that have unfolded before my eyes over the past six weeks! I unexpectedly  apply for a home loan, got accepted within two weeks. I than had a blessing when a friends mother was selling her beach side home in my price range and now 5 weeks later I am practically an official home owner of my dream house ( finalizing the building reports and bank). I had held the intention of manifesting this so strong, even through all the bumps in the road I knew what my goal was and I kept a positive mind.. well most days, i had to ground myself in hard times but i still kept the faith. I smiled in times when i wanted to break down and cry, but my vision was clear and in the back of my head i knew ” What you think and feel you become and manifest”. My Mother said – Andy why are you stressing about circumstance and situations that have not even happened, whats the point of wasting your happiness and energy on things you have no control over. At that point i released my energy and focus was on the negative. “what if i don’t get this, have enough money, what if im declined or i don’t find home”. Her words than clicked, a huge Aha moment and i changed my thoughts and attitude and well the results were life changing for the positive. Thanks Mum, the Universe and the law of attraction!

Where intention goes energy flows. The result of what you focus and hold your energy and intention on, whether it is  Bad or good is what you will manifest!

Holding an intention is powerful! hold it for as long as you can, feel the emotions and gratitude behind it, Envision it. There is a place inside of all of us where conscious expansion lives! Find it, thank it and work on and with it!

Thank your mind , tell yourself “I’m going to get results I want ” If you hold the intent long enough with purpose, emotion, compassion and gratitude and believe it so, it will be!

How to be spiritual in the modern world

I bet you have heard before the saying, ” have you found your tribe yet” well in this crazy, hectic, social media filled world its hard not to want to be part of something bigger than yourself. These days there is more spiritual “tribes” and religions around that its hard to figure out what one do you feel more comfortable and connect with.

Spirituality has so many definitions and meaning to each person that one is not more important than the other, so how can you incorporate your curiosity, creativity and gain wisdom in your life?  Here is a guide to increasing awareness and strengthening your relationship with yourself and the wonderful world around you.

  •  There is not right or wrong way to express yourself.

 

  •  Find someone who is in line with your values and that you admire. Let them guide you.  Who inspires you? Who drives and motivates you to change and grow for the better? It can be someone of this time or a previous life!

 

  •  Use the Moon as a guide. Yes our ancestors before us have been using the Moon as a guide, for rituals, agriculture, manifesting and healing. The Moon controls the tides and water on earth so what makes you think it can’t rule our emotional? our body is made up of 70% water,  Use the Moon phases as a guide to helping you through the month, New Moons are for manifesting, Full Moons area time for releasing that which no longer serves a purpose in our life – people, emotions, habits.

 

  • Smudging. Burn some white sage to cleanse your home, office, anything that occupies your personal space. Sage is traditionally been used for healing, cleansing AND PURIFYING  and medicinal purposes. Smudging is a great way of dispelling any bad left of energy and negative influences. it’s believed the left over smoke detox and purifies a room,home, object and person.. give it a try!

 

  • Use your intuition instead of your logic. Ever get that ” Gut feeling” when you knew that knot in the pit of your stomach was telling you something than your brain was registering was right.. ” I just had that feeling, The bad feeling wouldn’t ease up, we have an internal compass that guides us, that feeling is the balance between the head and the heart.. start listening you will be surprised on how well it guides you.

 

  •  Start off small. If it all seems to much to begin with and nothing seems to resonate with you, take small steps at a time.  New belief systems and practices can be overwhelming so take it back a step and do what feels right for you.

 

  • Gratitude. Practicing gratitude is essential key element to a happy life. If you want to read about gratitude and the power it holds read my article here. The power of gratitude 

 

  • Complain less! There is no point wasting your time, energy and emotions on situations and circumstances you can’t change.

 

  • Don’t think about the value of money! Stressing about money causes you to attract a negative frequency and it can weigh you down. Simplify your life, do what your heart tells you to do. You can afford a happy, fulfilling life, what brings joy to your life? rather than determining whether it will be cost-effective just do it, don’t deny yourself the pleasures of life because of some monetary detail, don’t base your happiness on a discount. If we focus on the lack in our life, or a price tag you create a barrier of resistance. Don’t make money the guiding principle for what you have or do or your soul happiness, free yourself from placing a price on everything you do and have, try to see the value on everything and not the dollar price after all the world of spirit does not have a dollar price on the actual value of something.

Just remember every moment of your life is an opportunity to start fresh, no one wins or looses as a person and you can always dance to the beat of your own drum.Take every sweet unexpected moment as blessing and enjoy life.

Set Some Goals

“Set some goals. Stay quiet about it. Smash them out, no matter how long it takes you. Stay humble & Clap yourself on your back ( any small or large achievements. Any milestone is a win). ” The right people will notice & well the rest ( small select few of haters) will ALWAYS, have something to whinge & critique you about..

Unhappy people are never happy within them selves and will always find something to pick at!! It’s a reflection of themselves not you.

So smile, say something nice to them…

Let whatever issue they have with you bounce straight off you. ( and internally giggle at the simple mentality).

My mum has taught me many things in life , one of the biggest lessons is ” Andy , people are going to love you or hate you & that’s not your problem… It’s theirs.

So the nicer you are ( generally nice) to someone who is rude, mean, negative or so called “Hates you” , be the bigger person , say something nice, smile at them, the more friendly & nicer you are the more angry , annoyed & frustrated they get… ( it’s a lot harder to be an arsehole to someone is who is completing you, because in the end they look rediculous) and the world does notice!

Your existence alone has altered the world. You are more important than you know.

Don’t Take Anything for Granted

We ignore so much of the goodness in our life, and  we tend to only miss this goodness when it is gone. What do you take for granted? I can tell you what I often take for granted. I take for granted my eyes, my eyes which give me vision to see the faces of my loves ones, all the colours of the rainbow, all the wonders that this world has to offer me

By being thankful for what you do have. When we tend to focus on what we want or where we want to be, we neglect that we have, exactly as it is. What if one day it was all to disappear?  how much DO you take for granted your life, big or small. For example; the only time I would not take my body for granted was when it was sick, or you only appreciate the fact you  have  washing machine was when it broke down. Or when you don’t have toilet paper???

By nourishing and being grateful for what you have already, you transform your perspective on life. By investing time by focusing on, and appreciating what we have brings about gratitude. Gratitude leads us to stop focusing on the things that are lacking in our life to all the abundance that already exists.

Try each day to stop and think about all the marvellous abundance that is already present in your life. Your job, Your home, Your arms and legs, Your boss that drives you nuts, because at least you have a boss.

Giving thanks and taking the time to appreciate every and all aspects of our life, it makes us happier and more resilient to what life has to offer, it strengthens relationships with ones self and others, it improves health, and it reduces stress.

Mindfulness Tips & Facts

Anyone can practice mindfulness but it might take a bit of practice. At first you might find it hard to stop your mind from wandering. Here are sum fun facts to help you distract your mind, and help you refocus your mind.

So what is this thing called mindfulness? Below are some definitions:

  • The awareness that emerges through paying attention on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally to the unfolding of experience moment to moment (Kabat-Zinn, 2003).
  • The non-judgmental observation of the ongoing stream of internal and external stimuli as they arise (Baer, 2003).
  • Keeping one’s complete attention to the experience on a moment to moment basis (Martlett & Kristeller, 1999).

Medically speaking..

After 8 weeks of practicing mindfulness exercises for an an average of 27 minutes per day, MRI scans of participants showed that mindfulness:

  • stimulated a significant increase in the density of gray matter in the hippocampus, important for learning and memory;
  • increased the density of gray matter in other neural structures associated with self-awareness, compassion and introspection;
  • decreased the density of gray matter in the amygdala – the part of the brain associated with anxiety and stress.

According to Harvard University, Studies have shown that mindfulness can:

  • relieves stress
  • relieves depression
  • relieves anxiety
  • lowers blood pressure
  • improve chronic pain
  • improve sleep
  • improves capacity to deal with stress
  • improves ability to form deeper connections with others.
  • Mindfulness has also been found to boost immune function.

What is an intention?

Intentions can long term or short term process of manifesting a goal or achievement, it is a guiding principle for how you want to be, live, and show up in the world.

Why set an intention?

Setting an intention triggers the first step in the process of manifestation in order to achieve an accomplishment. it is a powerful practice because it’s the first step to embodying that which you want.

Wayne Dyer said, “Our intention creates our reality.” And how many times have you heard “What you think, you become,” or “Thoughts become things”?

How do I set an intention and stay on track?

Here are some of the tips which I think can help us set intentions and achieve them.

Make a firm decision ~

Set your intention firmly. Identify what you want. Pledge to make a change in your lifestyle.Your intention should be closely tied to your personal thoughts, values and perspective on life.

Identify your priorities~

Your intentions should be cohesive with your vision of yourself ahead of time. Learn to identify where you are in the present moment and what coincides with the lifestyle you want. your intentions can be a clear and specific wish, or could be  as simple as a word or phrase you’d like to align yourself with, such as “i will have more compassion for myself and others”, or “i will open your mind and heart,” ” i will love myself more” Etc..

Here are some thought-starters to help you get started in forming an intention~

  • What would you like to build, create, or nurture in your life?
  • What would you like to let go of?
  • How do you feel when you are your happiest self?
  • What fears would you like to release?
  • What are you grateful for?
  • Who would you like to forgive in your life?

Write them down or  create a vision board~

An effective way of visualizing your intention is to write it down or create a vision board with newspaper or magazine clippings which can remind you every day. like place you want to visit, items you will save up and purchases, the healthy dream body you want to achieve , how you want to decorate your home,What matters most to you?

Review 
~

Once you have written them down, take a step back and review your intention. Are they realistic? Or are you committing to something that won’t align well with the lifestyle you lead?  also you must revisit it often and when needed

Make an action plan
Set a plan that is cohesive to your life style. There could be more than one method or pathway to arrive at your destination. Decide on a plan to achieve that suits you.

Track your progress
 ~

This is important to determine if you are headed in the right direction with your intention. If not, sit back and re-evaluate. If something isn’t working you have the power to tweak your action plan.

Involve others, 
It is always good to involve others to hold yourself accountable. Tell anyone and everyone. It will help boost your motivation.

Welcome failure & Celebrate your wins ~

Don’t give up because of obstacles. There could be many paths leading to the same destination. Try out different methods. Learn and be patient. 
Failure is an important part of the entire process. Welcome it. Learn from it. Intentions can sometimes deviate from the original plan and that is OK! So persist
.

and remember…

Celebrate your wins. Even small achievements. The loss of 2 lbs, Your boss praising you,   or that promotion.  You are one step closer.

Don’t lose sight! 
Stay focused on the end result and  don’t get distracted by the time it takes or obstacles that may block our path.
