Happy Full Moon Day!The Capricorn Full Moon is at 6 degrees. A Full Moon is where the Sun and Moon are sitting at 180 degrees from each other. The Moon is completely illuminated and thus showers us with its Luna energy here on earth. Traditionally a Full Moon is a completion point of the lunar cycle and when the Moon recharges its batteries. We also experience a burst of strong energy as the Moon is highlight with the Suns energy and that is why people here on earth can act strange or loony during a Full Moon. The Sun is at 6 degree of Cancer, the Sun is our ego and in Cancer its your emotional and spiritual side shinning through, you are creative, artistic and nurturing in this sign. This Cancer energy that shines all its light onto the Moon which will be at 6 degrees of Capricorn. This Cancer-Capricorn polarity that we will experience this month asks us to find balance between our public and work life and our home and private life! As the Sun shines on the Moon, the Moon than receives its energy and we are left with the feeling of responsibility and duty this month. You may ask yourself  questions this Full Moon such as.. “How can I love myself more and take care of my self” as well as asking yourself how can I be of service and take care of others” or  “how i can i show my love and caring side to other people”. The Moon being in Capricorn will give us the practical, logical way to solving these questions, as well as loads of ideas on how to be more nurturing and caring for others! As Capricorn is all about strong work ethics these manifestations and ideas will be incorporated and expressed by you in your work.

Saturn, the structured, organised planet of lessons and Karma is at 5 degrees Capricorn. Saturn is the Ruling planet of Capricorn and its the planet that makes us build a solid, reliable and strong foundation for yourself to build your life on. When it’s in Capricorn it gives us a cosmic nudge in the right direction. It allows us to focus on our goals and gives us the ability to look at the end results and not so much the short-term journey. Life is serious business today, and these energies will find a way to bring your awareness to that fact. This may not a bad thing.  You have important goals to set and things to accomplish and its wise to remember that your life also has consequences.

Today is all about looking to the future and building a strong foundation or platform to work off. With Saturn and the Capricorn Moon, any ideas or goals you have will be cemented.  It’s very important to make a list or make yourself very aware of your goals, especially those goals that involve helping or caring for others. If you have always wanted a career that helps others this is the time to begin that journey, are you unemployed? Volunteer at the local community center or nursing home.

Today use this Full Moon energy to contemplate the significance of your life and make necessary adjustments to move you in the direction that you need to go.This means letting go of old emotions, people, energies, belief systems and ways of thinking. There are times in life when we should dream, a time to be silly and play and unfortunately today is not a day for fun and games! Remember, if you feel stuck or lost, one simple step can start you off on a new direction.

Mercury moves out of Cancer and into Leo. This is a big shift as our mind and intellect moves from  being sensitive to being playful, from water to fire, we see a shift from inward thinking to a more of an external focus.Our thinking is more confident and our communication is gran. We are creative in our expressions and have fun during the process of it all. When Mercury is in Leo, the energy is great for thinking creatively and even better for self-expression. We tend to be overly dramatic and we pursue the lime light and center stage! However, we can be over self-assured and we must  just watch out for coming across as narcissistic and be open to other’s perspectives.

The Sun in Cancer opposes retrograde Saturn in Capricorn. Today brings an unmistakable heavy atmosphere as the Sun in Cancer opposes restrictive Saturn. This opposition will create tension between our ego and conscious self and the Master teacher and lord of karma. In late December of 2017, we seen the Sun and Saturn come together. Consider and think back to that time… what began at that time and you may be able to see adjustments that may need to be made now. What have you created since then and where do you want to take it as you step forward. At this time  the energy demands we get real. This is a day to take yourself and your situations along with others seriously. A time to step up and take responsibility for where you find yourself in this present moment, look clearly at reality. Also to really see what IS rather than what could or used to be. It’s not a day to sugarcoat anything. This is a day to spend time alone working on your ambitions and own goals. With the Moon entering Capricorn today it means that we need to get serious about the work that we want to accomplish.

We see the Full Moon enter Capricorn late tonight! Marking the midway point of the current lunar cycle we are in that began with the new moon in Gemini on June 13th. This Full Moon pushes us to see our mistakes clearly and make adjustments. It’s a Full Moon to get real, grounded, put in the hard work and taking into account our responsibilities. It’s a time to be productive, practical and to offer kindness to anyone you encounter,  offer support of a more serious kind.

The Moon is in Sagittarius.

Mars stations retrograde at 9’13  Aquarius.

Today offers us a quieter day, a day to dream of travel and spiritual awakening. The Moon is in Sagittarius most of the day following a square aspect to dreamy, mystical Neptune early this morning. Get lost in day dreaming, arts or curl up and watch a movie that ignites your imagination.Allow yourself to dream, allow yourself to imagine any and all expansive explorations that you desire. With mars turning retrograde today it is not a day to try to accomplish anything or start new projects. This is a day meant for dreamers.

The highlight of the day is when Mars turns retrograde at 9° Aquarius. Mars will remain in retrograde until August 27th, 2018.When Mars stations retrograde, it is not a time to take action or initiate new things. It is more of a time when we need to re-assess our approach to getting what we want, our current projects or hobbies and our desires and needs. This energy is one of healing and a time to deal with the past. Look to the house in your natal chart that holds Aquarius  as you consider how to use this retrograde. Some can find it  difficult to know what we want as the shift occurs, as well as how to organize  our emotions especially the hot-headed ones such as rage, anger, control and jealously. During this retrograde phase, learning to reign in your will, rage, drive, anger and aggression and work to master these characters, that is the key over the coming weeks. It is also important that you examine how you have been using anger, aggression, and drive in your life. To make amends, to re-visit and release. It is a time to learn new ways to direct these energies moving forward.

The Moon enters Sagittarius. This is an instant energy booster as you get some spring in your step ready to and ready to go and ready explore the day ahead. If you have some steam to blow off today is the day! It’s great energy to be out and about, see the magic that is all around you, to mingling and strike up new and interesting conversations. It’s also a great day to get out and explore the world around you.. This includes booking a flight or adventure for those who need a little cosmic push!

Today we see Venus in Leo square Jupiter in Scorpio. Venus in Leo leaves you feeling confident within yourself , our wants and needs for affection and attention are high. We are playful and cheeky as we seek out someone to fulfill our needs desires. Venus in Leo is all about being in the moment in love, relationships, beauty and finances! On the other hand, Jupiter the planet of good luck , abundance and good fortune and in Scorpio, we have access and are easily able to tap into our intuition for guidance and luck. Today our good luck and abundance is gained by tapping into our selves and tuning in to what we really need intuitively. If you really listen to your feelings you will get amazing results today. So today its best to listen to your inner voice and feelings and work out what are the best circumstance you would want to manifest in your life! What is the best mode of action and direction that benefits and works best for you? People are able to see you for your authentic self and commend you for your journey, ts ok to say you have wounds to heal and yes you can find yourself amongst the storm and chaos. It’s ok to be bruised and still be happy!!!

The Sun moves out of Gemini and into Cancer.

Venus in Leo opposes Mars in Aquarius.

Welcome to Cancer season yay! The Sun enters the intuitive, domestic and nurturing sign of Cancer. Shifting us from  air to water energy. Today also marks the winter solstice. With the Sun in Cancer you will find that you are more focused on relationships and those who are the closet to you. Trust, turning inwards, home and family life will be highlighted this month.

Venus in Leo opposes Mars in Aquarius. this opposition only happens once a year. Venus and  Mars are sitting 180 degrees from each other. Venus energy is very feminine and Mars energy is very masculine, and as they oppose each other today you will feel that you may long for the either one or the others energy in your life. Whenever they aspect each other the potential for creativity, fertility and romance are high. This yin and yang energy is also great for sudden break through… especially when it comes to business and travel adventures. Launch that website, ask for a pay rise, book those tickets, make your big plans happen or just get things started at least with the Venus and Mars energy sitting so far away from each other ( As much as they are against each other today) they will eventually join up where they belong and create something new.  However this opposition will cause friction and you may find it hard to appreciate what you have especially as you keep looking over your shoulder for what you think you would prefer or always telling yourself something better will be coming along. Balance of the male and female energy is key today and appreciating the life you have!

I want to take this opportunity as a Cancer to clear up a misunderstanding I often see expressed about us Cancer’s. Everyone seems to know that Cancer is sensitive, moody, nurturing and tender. However, do not mistake our kindness for weakness or our  sensitivity at that.  Please, make no mistake, Cancer is a powerful sign in its own right! The worst thing you could ever do is take the trusting and forgiving nature of Cancer and abuse your power, we have crab claw’s for a reason and we are very in tune when we think something doesn’t sit right. Think of Cancer as the nurturing mother bear! Don’t ever mess with mamma bear Cancer especially if you assume she will not strike back!

Over the coming month it is a time to focus on home, family, emotions, inner experience and our connection to the Divine Mother.While the Sun is in Cancer, you may feel more drawn inwards, you may focus more on building deep roots and a sense of belonging. As your attention is drawn inward to your domestic life. Enjoy the more gentle, intuitive nature of this sign.

The Moon enters Libra.

 The Sun in Gemini forms a square with the Libra Moon.

Today don’t be surprised if certain challenges arise, as we see the Sun and Moon at odds forming a square aspect with each other. Whatever seeds you planet at last week’s New Moon during this 1st quarter Moon phase will now be firm in the pipe lines, your projects take off and you should be able to see yours dreams coming to life, however this is also a crucial point where we are faced with the first set of obstacles and challenges… I can tell you funnily enough mine are all to do with communication or lack off ( ironic as it’s a Gemini New Moon which is all about communication). Some of us are feel an urgency to take action during this phase and others may find it  difficult to know what action to take but you know it is time to move forward with the understanding you gained since the New Moon last Wednesday.

It’s the last day of the Sun in Gemini, since May 20th, the Sun has been sitting in this witty, intelligent, inquisitive, curious and fast-talking Gemini. Tomorrow morning  the Sun enters nurturing, emotional and  inward Cancer.

The Moon enters diplomatic and harmonious Libra. This energy is lovely as it shows you how to move forward in a peaceful manner in regards to past or hurtful relationships. Libra Moon days also teach us that the best way to move forward is to face any issue with balanced, dispassionate and objectivity. It’s a day for working in harmony with others and face your challenges with race and an open heart.

This morning finds the Moon landing itself in its home sign of  sensitive, nurturing Cancer. This Moon forms another sextile to the great rebellion Uranus, along with a conjunction to Mercury. Be willing to think outside the box and do things radically different is key right now.

Venus in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus. This clash will cause some  tension between the Goddess of Love and Beauty and the great  revolutionary and the rebel! With so much Uranus energy out and about expect the unexpected today, and a wake up and shake up energy playing out in relationships and finances. Your internal defiance is asking you to open your eyes to a new way of being. Uranus energy is wanting us to search for personal freedom and detach from others.Its pushing us to be free of attachments. These attachments include, people, feelings, responsibilities, detach from  situations and energies that don’t serve a purpose in our life anymore! It’s about evolution. We have a lot going on today starting off this morning we begin with Mercury who is currently sitting in sensitive in Cancer forming a sextile aspect to innovative, unearthing and some would say potentially life-changing Uranus. The Moon enters Gemini.

Mercury enters Cancer.

By the time you wake up this morning, the Moon enters curious, lighthearted Gemini. When the Moon is in  Gemini we want to be out and about engaging in social interactions, probing for interesting conversations and keeping your mind busy.

Mercury the planet of communication and our thought process leaves the light-hearted energy of Gemini behind and enters Cancer. Shifting our mind and intellect from intellect to emotion and from air to water. Mercury in Cancer heightens our connection between our thoughts and emotions.We become very nurturing and sensitive in our communication and thinking.Over the coming weeks, you will think more about feelings, talk more about your feelings, you will look for and offer emotional support. You will be all wrapped up in emotions with a major focus on family, home life, relationships and your inner wanting. However, we can be so wrapped up in emotions that we may project a particular emotion more than the others, like jealously, possessiveness, being stuck in a past relationship, digging up past hurts and not seeing the future for the wonderful potential it holds.  Mercury will remain in Cancer until July 29th, so expect to be sensitive, emotional and Moody!  The Sun in Gemini quincunxes retrograde Pluto in Capricorn.

Balsamic Moon in Taurus.

 The Sun in Gemini quincunxes retrograde Pluto in Capricorn, Making the mood for Monday morning a tad tense as these two cause friction between our ego and conscious  and the Lord of the transformation.This Sun and Pluto aspect is great for diving deep into our deepest darkest hidden self, its great for self revolutions, it also can bring up internal conflicts and confusion  between our desires and needs on the surface and our need to confront the shadows and what we truly desire in order for soul growth. Focus this energy on empowering yourself,  do your inner work and as the reward will be worth it!

With the balsamic Moon in Taurus, and the Sun and Pluto quincunxes each other, what better day to look inwards and do some inner work. During this Moon phase you can feel somewhat of strange energies floating around a certain ambiance, I noticed walking the dog this morning he was staring at a presence that I couldn’t see, like a wild world of unknown was swirling around him. As the Moon loves being in this earthy sign of Taurus it is a great day for doing the simple and naughty pleasures of life, lounging around, over indulging on food and wine and sensual activities.
