Mars stations retrograde at 9’13  Aquarius.

Today offers us a quieter day, a day to dream of travel and spiritual awakening. The Moon is in Sagittarius most of the day following a square aspect to dreamy, mystical Neptune early this morning. Get lost in day dreaming, arts or curl up and watch a movie that ignites your imagination.Allow yourself to dream, allow yourself to imagine any and all expansive explorations that you desire. With mars turning retrograde today it is not a day to try to accomplish anything or start new projects. This is a day meant for dreamers.

The highlight of the day is when Mars turns retrograde at 9° Aquarius. Mars will remain in retrograde until August 27th, 2018.When Mars stations retrograde, it is not a time to take action or initiate new things. It is more of a time when we need to re-assess our approach to getting what we want, our current projects or hobbies and our desires and needs. This energy is one of healing and a time to deal with the past. Look to the house in your natal chart that holds Aquarius  as you consider how to use this retrograde. Some can find it  difficult to know what we want as the shift occurs, as well as how to organize  our emotions especially the hot-headed ones such as rage, anger, control and jealously. During this retrograde phase, learning to reign in your will, rage, drive, anger and aggression and work to master these characters, that is the key over the coming weeks. It is also important that you examine how you have been using anger, aggression, and drive in your life. To make amends, to re-visit and release. It is a time to learn new ways to direct these energies moving forward.

The Moon is in Virgo.

The Sun in Gemini trines mars in Aquarius.

Mercury opposes Jupiter.

In the early hours of this mornings, this opposition of Mercury to Jupiter means that we must pay attention to what should and shouldn’t be said or what should and shouldn’t be openly expressed. Once the day is in full swing that won’t be a problem but just remember we could have a case of foot in mouth and be left saying what you didn’t mean to say.

The Moon remains in Virgo, once again we are left to focus on our health, work, organisation and fine tuning our daily routines and provides us with a smooth, effective day.

The Sun in Gemini trines mars in Aquarius. This tine aspect forming between the talkative and witty Gemini Sun to assertive and masculine Mars in Aquarius means that our ability to creatively use our mind along with our communication skills is powerful. This linking of the two masculine planets in harmonious ways is great for taking action, steeping up and into a certain role that ordinary you wouldn’t be confident to, for being focused and taking initiative. With these planets also being in two Air signs the energy is focused!! Mental pursuits are high on your priority list as well as being sociable. Engage in an active debates, discussions or lively conversation.
