New Moon in Aquarius.

By Monday afternoon, we will have a New Moon in Aquarius. This marks the beginning of a new lunar cycle. New Moo;s traditionally are about a fresh new start. A time to sit down and write down goals or changes you wish to manifest over the next month. It’s a time to plant seeds of intention to grow. This New Moon will be pulling in lots of Aquarius energy as the Sun and Moon conjunct each other they are both at 15 degrees of each other, to us down on earth the Moon is pitch black and recharging itself for the lunar cycle ahead.  Aquarius is an Air sign, it’s the sign of the humanitarian, its social and independent. It’s focus is about the bigger picture and connecting with others. Aquarius energy is about focusing on others to make changes for the greater good. Creativity and innovation are some key words when we think about Aquarius.

The New Moon is at fifteen degrees. Fifteen degrees in numerology breaks down to six, six is a door way or a temporary opportunity that opens up for us so what better time to plan for the future and make changes. Aquarius rules information, technology, communication, ideas, practicality and inventing. It’s about taking our ideas and making them reality. This New Moon open up your mind, think collectively and brain storm ideas how you can make positive change to those around you.

Aquarius is at once fiercely independent and yet extremely socially minded. Being emotionally independent is important for this sign as well as feeling somewhat connected to others, being progressive and objective. If you can detach yourself from the “Norm” this New Moon you will be able to discover and understand the world around you and the changes that you need to make. Your natural abilities to be more social will be important to you this month, exchanging ideas, discussions and communication with others will also be highlighted. Use these great qualities of Aquarius in your New Moon intentions and you will have full support of the universe. Maybe you need the cosmic push to join an exercise group? Volunteer? Start an environmental project, make a plan to recycle or reduce your waste consumption. Perhaps take a class on learning how to use your computer or anything related to technology. Or simply Join a social group that sparks your interest!

The New Moon in Aquarius will also give you insight on those around you that are not as easily understood, it will also allow you to not only engage with others who are different from you, but give you a unique way for you to be able to express the parts of yourself that are most unusual and quirky. Allow the more rebellious and innovative parts of yourself to emerge its OK to let go of your old habits and patterns of thinking. This New Moon free yourself from those parts that hold you back and make some positive changes in your life. The Aquarius New Moon forms a harmonious sextile aspect to expansive and abundant happy Jupiter. This is great news for us as whatever we set our intentions or wishes to will turn to gold.

Full Moon Lunar eclipse in Leo.

Early this morning and late last night while you were sleeping the second eclipse of the month, a Full Moon lunar eclipse occurred. Lunar Eclipses are just like regular Full Moon only stronger, its effects will be felt for the next 6 months. During this Full Moon lunar eclipse, we are offered a unique opportunity to reset our emotions along with a chance to clear away much discomfort or old energy from recent months. Think back over the past few months? Can you see a past issue or problem that clearly has seemed beyond view until now? Open your eyes, you may be surprised at what you have missed over the past few months that is now so clearly obvious.

This month’s Full Moon is in the playful sign of Leo. A Full Moon traditionally is when the Sun and the Moon are at 180 degrees of each other, this mean the Sun in Aquarius forms an opposition with the Moon in Leo. A Full Moon is a completion point of the Luna cycle. As it is completely illuminated with light, it showers us with not only Luna but solar energy. Lunar Eclipse’s interrupt this recharging of the Moon that is why eclipses are so powerful, important and its effects last six months.

This Full Moon in Leo will be fiery, energetic, charged and upbeat! This Moon will also be a Super Moon, meaning it appears much larger to our naked eye here on earth. The total lunar eclipse at 0 degrees Leo will mark the half way point of the current Eclipse season we are in. We had a partial Solar eclipse in Capricorn on 5th January, 2019. Eclipse are basically a radical time of change, growth and healing, and this Eclipse lines up with the North Node which is all about our destiny and karma.

This month, the Sun is in Aquarius at 0 degrees. It will be focused mainly on service to humanity. Aquarius is looking to the future and learning about how it can make life better for everyone as a whole. Its focus is at a more of a local point, its intelligent, witty, loves technology and its advancement. Aquarius asks “how can I be of service to others”. It’s interested in learning and making positive, radical change. This energy will be illuminating and charging up the beautiful Moon this month!

The Moon represent the most sensitive parts of us, it’s all about who we are and how we feel. The Moon is sitting at 0 degrees in Leo. In Leo, our inner child or your internal feelings are magnified and heightened! You want to explore, you want to feel alive, you are self-motivated and life becomes 10 shades of dramatic. The Sun in Scorpio is moving towards a semi-square to Saturn in Capricorn.

The Moon moves out of Capricorn and into Aquarius.

As you wake up today, the morning energy building may leave you feeling anxious and stressed! As the Sun in Scorpio is moving towards a semi-square to Saturn in Capricorn! As this building tension and friction is arising between our conscious self and the lord of karma and master teacher we will be faced with conflicting and harsher energies!Responsibility along with frustrations and limitations will arise today leaving us feeling unsettled. The key for today is to breath and mindful! This is not a day to be controlling however it is a day to control your own reactions and responses so that you are able to answer reasonably rather than react in situations you face.

The Moon moves out of Capricorn and into Aquarius. Meaning we will start to detach from society, old patterns of thinking and feeling and what people call the “Norm”. As we wake up today we will be entering the darkest point of the Lunar Phase a New Moon. This New Moon in Scorpio is sitting with Jupiter, mere hours before the planet leaves Scorpio and enters Sagittarius which won’t happen again is for over a decade. Traditionally a New Moon is when the Sun and Moon join together. They both will be sitting on each other in 15 degrees Scorpio. A New Moon in our sky looks completely dark, it’s black & the Moon is making herself invisible as the Sun’s rays overtake, she is taking a meditation break and recharging. This month the Moon is recharging itself for the next Luna cycle in the sassy sign of Scorpio. This time of the Luna cycle is all about stopping focusing inward and pulling the energy in and revaluation where yin your life needs changing and working about making a list of changes or intentions you want to plant for the next month. Mercury moves out of Scorpio and into Sagittarius.

The Moon moves into Leo.

Today’s big news is Mercury leaves the depths of Scorpio behind and enters Sagittarius. Mercury is the communication planet that rules over our mental realm especially focusing on the way we communicate, make plans and think! This new placement will shift the conscious mind and intellect from water to fire, yin to yang, depths to greet heights. Sagittarius is represented by the Archer, the explorer, which means our possibilities are endless while Mercury is traveling here. When Mercury is in Sagittarius we tend to find our energy is more focused on a mission, we seek experiences that broaden our horizon, we follow our dreams and reach goals. The mind wants to grow beyond its boundaries and limits. The way we think and communicate will be very forward thinking. You’ll notice that Mercury prefers to observe the grains of sand and that Sagittarius will see the box of sand, aka the bigger picture. Sagittarius loves to travel, they are the great philosopher, the teacher, they thrive on learning, exploring and expanding. However it’s important to note that the less favourable traits of Sagittarius, especially now the communication planet is in play! We may overstep or forget where the line is and say things that may offend others. The Moon in Libra is very sociable and creates or tries to create a harmonious and balanced atmosphere, its goal is make everyone get along and reduce stress especially in relationships, as it forms this square to Saturn in Capricorn there is gong to be some friction between socializing and work and meeting your own needs and reaching personal goals. The Taurus Full Moon illuminates beauty, Love and Sensuality! 2018

Happy Full Moon Day! This Full Moon is going to be something else! The Full Moon enters Taurus today. I like most I have felt the energy of this Full Moon build all week. A Full Moon is when the Sun in Scorpio at 1 degrees fully illuminates the Moon, it also conjuncts Retrograde Venus in 4 degrees Scorpio. The Moon also conjuncts Uranus.

The Scorpio Sun at 1 degree wants some sort of emotional experience and Venus in retrograde at 4 degrees tells us that we are entitled and deserve to have an amazing emotional experience. The energy reminds you that “Yes” are meant to explore, experiment, have fun and live a little. It also invites us to dig deep, to seek and experience things you have never experienced before. Perhaps on the naughtier side of life. This week Venus and the Sun are both in a planetary placement that tempt you to try out new things, be adventurous behave in ways you normally wouldn’t.

The Full Moon is when the Sun sits opposite to the Moon at 180 degrees from each other. Full Moons are a time of strengthened intuition, heightened emotions, and you can observe unusual activity happening around you or occurring to other people. I can tell you the Full Moon makes my pets a little loony, and others can report some sleep disturbances!

This Full Moon in Taurus astrological speaking, with the rest of the universe in play is going to be pretty much bag of mixed energies. As I mentioned earlier we are in a Retrograde Venus however we also have Uranus, the planet of sudden change, revolt and the unexpected conjunct the Full Moon!

So my dear friends, ready or not BIG CHANGE is coming for us… The real challenge for us is going to be are we ready to embrace change, all the positive side and traits of Scorpio? This Full Moon is going to urge us to do something, to create something wonderful, something physical or birth something new in any of the areas I just mentioned.  This Full Moon is about  putting yourself out there and experience all the sensuality the world has to offer. Uranus the planet of eccentricity is sitting on top of Taurus stirring the pot for unexpected, radical excitement and unexpected change. This along with Venus retrograde will help illuminate you with all those twisted desires and energies that will results in physical manifestations and actions that in no means would you normally act on.

This Full Moon being in the sign of Taurus, will feel comfortable and safe. The Moon likes sitting in this sign, as we know the Moon represents our feelings and inner world. Taurus is about solidity and sensuality in aspects not only physical but in our taste, our touch, or views, using all the senses. Taurus is about if you can sense it and touch it, than it is real. The Moon in Taurus wants us to take a change, get rid of the feelings of old, the feelings that weigh you down and blur your vision of the beauty that is around you. New Moon Solar Eclipse in Cancer.

The New Moon Solar Eclipse in Cancer forms an opposition to both the Sun and Moon to Pluto in Capricorn.

Today we have a partial solar eclipse at 20’41 Cancer.  This eclipse is the first in the Cancer/Capricorn polarity series! What is activated or brought to Light for you right now can give you insight into the next 19 months. The effects of the Eclipse can last up to six months. The energy being brought forth will be one of family, home life and career and work life, most importantly finding a healthy balance between them both. Look in your chart to see if either of the signs are present, it will give you a clue on what to work and focus your New Moon intentions on!

So not only do we have a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Cancer, we have the Sun opposing Pluto and then the New Moon opposing Pluto.This opposition happens once a year. Happy Full Moon Day!The Capricorn Full Moon is at 6 degrees. A Full Moon is where the Sun and Moon are sitting at 180 degrees from each other. The Moon is completely illuminated and thus showers us with its Luna energy here on earth. Traditionally a Full Moon is a completion point of the lunar cycle and when the Moon recharges its batteries. We also experience a burst of strong energy as the Moon is highlight with the Suns energy and that is why people here on earth can act strange or loony during a Full Moon. The Sun is at 6 degree of Cancer, the Sun is our ego and in Cancer its your emotional and spiritual side shinning through, you are creative, artistic and nurturing in this sign. This Cancer energy that shines all its light onto the Moon which will be at 6 degrees of Capricorn. This Cancer-Capricorn polarity that we will experience this month asks us to find balance between our public and work life and our home and private life! Saturn is the Ruling planet of Capricorn and its the planet that makes us build a solid, reliable and strong foundation for yourself to build your life on. When it’s in Capricorn it gives us a cosmic nudge in the right direction. It allows us to focus on our goals and gives us the ability to look at the end results and not so much the short-term journey. Life is serious business today, and these energies will find a way to bring your awareness to that fact. This may not a bad thing.  You have important goals to set and things to accomplish and its wise to remember that your life also has consequences.

Today is all about looking to the future and building a strong foundation or platform to work off. With Saturn and the Capricorn Moon, any ideas or goals you have will be cemented.  It’s very important to make a list or make yourself very aware of your goals, especially those goals that involve helping or caring for others. If you have always wanted a career that helps others this is the time to begin that journey, are you unemployed? Volunteer at the local community center or nursing home.

Today use this Full Moon energy to contemplate the significance of your life and make necessary adjustments to move you in the direction that you need to go.This means letting go of old emotions, people, energies, belief systems and ways of thinking. There are times in life when we should dream, a time to be silly and play and unfortunately today is not a day for fun and games! Remember, if you feel stuck or lost, one simple step can start you off on a new direction.

Mercury moves out of Cancer and into Leo. This is a big shift as our mind and intellect moves from  being sensitive to being playful, from water to fire, we see a shift from inward thinking to a more of an external focus.Our thinking is more confident and our communication is gran. We are creative in our expressions and have fun during the process of it all. When Mercury is in Leo, the energy is great for thinking creatively and even better for self-expression. We tend to be overly dramatic and we pursue the lime light and center stage! However, we can be over self-assured and we must  just watch out for coming across as narcissistic and be open to other’s perspectives.

Venus moves out of Cancer and into Leo.

We have a lot going on today starting off this morning we begin with Mercury who is currently sitting in sensitive in Cancer forming a sextile aspect to innovative, unearthing and some would say potentially life-changing Uranus. This exciting aspect will help us to link our mind, thoughts and communication with the planet of rebellion and unexpected twist in very unusual ways.
