Full Moon Lunar eclipse in Leo.

Early this morning and late last night while you were sleeping the second eclipse of the month, a Full Moon lunar eclipse occurred. Lunar Eclipses are just like regular Full Moon only stronger, its effects will be felt for the next 6 months. During this Full Moon lunar eclipse, we are offered a unique opportunity to reset our emotions along with a chance to clear away much discomfort or old energy from recent months. Think back over the past few months? Can you see a past issue or problem that clearly has seemed beyond view until now? Open your eyes, you may be surprised at what you have missed over the past few months that is now so clearly obvious.

This month’s Full Moon is in the playful sign of Leo. A Full Moon traditionally is when the Sun and the Moon are at 180 degrees of each other, this mean the Sun in Aquarius forms an opposition with the Moon in Leo. A Full Moon is a completion point of the Luna cycle. As it is completely illuminated with light, it showers us with not only Luna but solar energy. Lunar Eclipse’s interrupt this recharging of the Moon that is why eclipses are so powerful, important and its effects last six months.

This Full Moon in Leo will be fiery, energetic, charged and upbeat! This Moon will also be a Super Moon, meaning it appears much larger to our naked eye here on earth. The total lunar eclipse at 0 degrees Leo will mark the half way point of the current Eclipse season we are in. We had a partial Solar eclipse in Capricorn on 5th January, 2019. Eclipse are basically a radical time of change, growth and healing, and this Eclipse lines up with the North Node which is all about our destiny and karma.

This month, the Sun is in Aquarius at 0 degrees. It will be focused mainly on service to humanity. Aquarius is looking to the future and learning about how it can make life better for everyone as a whole. Its focus is at a more of a local point, its intelligent, witty, loves technology and its advancement. Aquarius asks “how can I be of service to others”. It’s interested in learning and making positive, radical change. This energy will be illuminating and charging up the beautiful Moon this month!

The Moon represent the most sensitive parts of us, it’s all about who we are and how we feel. The Moon is sitting at 0 degrees in Leo. In Leo, our inner child or your internal feelings are magnified and heightened! You want to explore, you want to feel alive, you are self-motivated and life becomes 10 shades of dramatic. You will find that you want to harness your power, you will get a much-needed cosmic confidence boost. You will be the life of the party, communicating and interacting with others will be a high priority over the coming weeks. Leo is ruled by the Sun, and we all know the Sun is the center of the solar system as is Leo personality, it illuminating, its life, it’s all about you and how you are as a person, and it represents your identity and sense of self. Leo loves being confident, it’s about “you being you” and not compromising that for no one!  Leo’s energy encompass optimism, being enthusiastic and enjoying life! Its fiery energy can burn through obstacles singe any stagnant energy that’s holding you back!

This Super Eclipse Moon is sitting next to the north node in 26 degrees Cancer. Whenever the Moon is near the north node it’s pulling energy in, karmic/ destiny energy. Numerology speaking 26 degrees adds up to eight. Eight is the number of abundance and power. So not only will we feel the effects of this powerful Moon, we will have the added bonus of north node in Cancer to help us achieve our goals and desires. Perhaps it’s wise to remember that Cancer is ruled by the Moon, and lunar eclipses bring to attention our inner emotions, what’s working in our life, relationships, our home life and how we can heal and transform those areas. In particular things that have been brewing under the surface, you will find surface up for transformation and change… Expect Fun, laughter and love as well as our relationships, children and family will be under a spotlight and become very important to us. Imagine a lioness taking care of her cubs! All these energies are intertwined and illuminated in us for the next 6 months. Make the most out of these energies. It’s time to not only get in touch with ourselves but those around us we love.

This Lunar Eclipse will have the ability to get us to review and access at our own emotions, our needs and what we “feel” is lacking from our life. The polarity between Leo and Aquarius is going to deal with our personal and our impersonal self, the key this Full moon is to find a balance between our egotistic, confidence and self-expressive side and the part of us that wants to help others, that is selfless and objective. The Leo Moon is proud, self-reliant and dramatic Aquarius Sun is values a more team player and individual approach to life.

Lunar Eclipses trigger a self-awareness in all of us, it allows matters come to light. From areas of your life that only may need a fine tune to areas that need a complete revamp. With so much energy floating around you should take a look at your natal chart for a clue to where you need to put your energy. See what areas of Leo rules over what house, this can give your insight to the areas that may come into focus now.  Deep down inside, despite all we ignore we know that change is necessary for growth.

On the shadow side with Leo Moon, you may face challenges or small hurdles with dramatic self-expression, resulting in your ‘inner-child’ being on full display. Over reacting, being overly dramatic, self-centered and always the center of attention, also watch out for the urge for temper tantrums. Mercury in Capricorn squares Mars in Aries.

The Moon is n Aquarius.

Last week Mercury the planet that rules they way we think and communicate entered the serious sign of Capricorn. Today as Mars and Mercury square each other there will be tension and friction felt in the way we handle and communicate with others. Mars represents our inner warrior, it’s the planet that represent action. It also at times can be aggressive, fiery, impulsive and argumentative. This is especially true as Mars is in its home sign of feisty Aires, so don’t be to surprised if today you find yourself going from 0 to 100 with frustration in regards to the way you think and communicate. This aspect is great if you need a confidence boost or a need to assert yourself but be warned do so with awareness. Avoid heated conflict and being impulsive, and at the same time try to be quick to forgive those who come across too quick to argue or draw to mislead  conclusion.

The Moon is still in the quirky sign of Aquarius, meaning you will internally be able to think objectively. You will have the ability to overcome most obstacles this Mercury/Mars aspect throws at you with a fair and just mind. However with such a quick-witted mind you must watch out and think things thoroughly before you open your mouth, otherwise it may cost you today friends.

Moon enters Leo.

The Moon leaves its transit of nurturing Cancer and it enters excitable Leo this morning. When the Moon is in Leo, we are proud, playful and crave the spotlight and attention!We have a need to be creative, expressive and playful. If there is any area of your life that needs an added boost of sunshine, playfulness, attention and energy, today is the day to focus on those areas and harness the energy wisely! Our unique qualities and talents will come out today have some fun! If we are authentic and true to our self and have the back bone to prove to someone your worth today you will benefit tremendously

However, on the shadow side of Leo energy is that we can be too proud to back down when it is needed! We can over take others time to shine! We can be very egotistical and we can boast too much self-esteem that comes across in the wrong way! It’s also a time to think about and ask yourself whether you’re being too proud in some situations.

But overall it’s a great day to show yourself some self-love and attention, shine today and be proud of who you are!

Full Moon in Virgo 2017.

The Full Moon shines its illuminating light this month in the sign of Virgo. Virgo is an earth sign that is all about practicality. Virgo is all about decisions, what is and isn’t working for you especially  in your daily routine and life. Virgo is also a sign that takes pride in the services they provide to others.
This full Moon happens at 22 degrees. Now 22 is a master number of the builder so any actions and decisions you take now will cement what you are building in your world. You have the opportunity to create something in the physical world, especially in the here and now this month, something that is long-lasting, practical and very meaningful and will impact you in your life in a positive way.

The Full Moon in Virgo presses us to find a balance between our physical health, our work life, our every day-to-day functions and our daily routines. Virgo has a great need and the tools to balance and organise our daily life. This Full Moon look to find a balance in these areas what is practical and impractical, finds a balance between work and service.

However this month we are still in contact with a lot of Pisces watery energy . The Sun is in Pisces, 180o away from the Moon, we also see Neptune in Pisces, Chiron in Pisces and we just see Mercury leave Pisces. All these planets are conjunting and mixing their energy with the Sun. So usually the Full Moon energy trumps everything else but we will see the energy in the chart mixing between watery emotional, intuition, dreamy energy and grounded, practical earth energy.

The Sun is illuminating Pisces energy onto this Full Moon energy in Virgo. So emotional side of things will still be strongly felt in our life and in our decisions, so those who thought YAY im finally done with the emotional side of life and thinking now i can get back to business, back to practical work and everyday work, unfortunately.. NO there is going to be a lot of ” feeling’s and intuition” going on. Remember the Sun, which is the “identity”  is in Pisces. Pisces energy is creativity, spirituality, intuition and connecting to your feelings will still be strong over the next few weeks, so if you are prone to sweeping your feelings under the rug, you still may find it difficult under this Full Moon as you may be forced to own your emotions. However this Full Moon will bring about more of a balance with the intellect mind and our emotions.

So this Full Moon you have the oppertunity to realse, to change and grow. Find the emotional satisfaction in making order out of daily chaos, solving problems and helping others. This is the time to re think and reorganise our lives.

Taking care of business is a major theme this Full Moon, especially where you place emotional connections. You crave order and orientation, so we’re in your life needs a little sorting and TLC? Your health, your home, your work, your relationships, your closets, that desk you have been avoiding and that keep piles up.

This is the time use it wisely and happy Full Moon gang!

A dose of Vitamin Sea

Sunshine is the medicine for the soul… If you are anything like me, an empath, the cure to burning off other people’s energy is a good dose of sunshine. For me being in nature especially at the beach and in the sunshine makes my soul whole again.

Being a nurse I pick up and take on others invisible energy and emotions. It doesn’t help that my Star sign is cancerian either… But part of my life lesson , as I am learning ( the hard way sometimes)  is how to remove excess and unwanted energy from myself and my aura, and furthermore learning to figure out what are my emotions and what are other people’s emotions I’m feeling and taking aboard. So grounding is a very important part of my life. I have always been drawn to the water and the beach and now as I reflect back on my life I’ve always lived next to the beach or near a mountain and if I couldn’t be near these parts of nature I felt lost, something was missing, floating in a place that I didn’t enjoy.

I am so very blessed to live with the beach at the end of my street, so every weekend I get up and have my morning coffee or smoothie on the beach and just sit with my feet in the sand and recharge, reflect and regain my energy!

Each weekday I ride my bike along the beach side to work and in that ten minutes ride, my problems , my thoughts all melt away and I think how lucky we are to have such beauty in this world. The sun that shines, even in the darkest of days , it’s still in the sky giving light and life energy, the ocean glistening, waves rolling onto the shore without hesitation or failure. The clean air I breath, all the wonderfull animals i coexist with, along with all the life around me. In those moments I am one with everyone and everything in this universe… Such bliss!
