The Moon is in Pisces.

The Sun cojoins Pluto at 20’56 Capricorn. This aspect happens once a year, so today is the power day of the week. This Sun/Pluto alignment will get us asking ourselves what area of our life do we need to transform , to heal or empower? This is the time to have a life review. Whats your life purpose? What goals or plans do you or do you want to put in place this year? Revisit and revise all your ambitions and make sure what you desire or want to achieve is held on solid ground. The energy right now is incredible for transformation but it also has the capability to unearth some very intense energy when it comes to control and power dynamics. Our shadow self-will be forced out, the question to ask yourself is… how formidable are you at your core?For some it may result in a battle between your ego, greed and being power-hungry.

The Moon is still in Pisces the energy is just right for those who need some releasement in amongst all this intense soul-searching. The Pisces moon energy is also great for taking some time out, having a nap or getting back to nature and re setting yourself.

Key words for today is willpower, healing, lessons, determination , insights and empowerment.

The Moon enters Libra.

The intensity of  Mars and Pluto that began yesterday remains hovering around us as we move into the weekend. It seems apparent that its effecting everyone, have you watched the news and politics of late? Don’t forget the lesson it is teaching us, if we put in the hard work, believe I our self we can achieve anything. Find your voice, find your cause, even the smallest efforts make a difference.

The Moon is in Libra today, harmony and balance is the name of the game. Libra rule’s over our relationships, so today make a point of listening to the other side of the story or point of view of others today! Do not assume that you are right and others are wrong. Sharing realities, be open to others opinions or simply have a conversation with someone who sees the world in a different way to you. Today is also a great time to focus on romance and love! Do you need to make your move on someone you have your eye  on? But, let me not forget to mention it is also a great day to work on a strengthening business and other personal relationships.

The Sun in Aries squares Pluto in Capricorn.

Today we have the Moon still in Aquarius, and it is Aquarius  providing us with objectivity and open-minded detachment to situations and resolutions that can allow us to remain emotionally removed from the outcome. Today is great to step outside your comfort zone, interact with like-minded and the more unusual folk. Spark up interesting conversations and work towards a more progressive way of thinking and being under the Moon’s influence in Aquarius. You will crave independence and freedom today use this as a breakthrough and let it propel you into new interesting areas.

As we head into the afternoon, you may come face to face the darker side of the day. The Sun in Aries squares Pluto in Capricorn. This can stir up some tension between our conscious self and the planet of transformation and power. Pluto is intense on a good day and now that we have friction arising, we can experience some power play and control dynamics with others or even internally if we don’t watch our thoughts. This tension can  particularly happen with authority figures or people in charge.

The Sun in Aries is means that we are very independent and superior and that falling  back into line is not an option, and on the other hand Pluto energy is oppressive and controlling as it squares the Aries Sun. Today, the key to handling these energies is action on your behalf. Action meaning  something is being required of you, perhaps a change in direction, we may need to find balance, practice self-control, not be reactive, aggressive or impulsive. Today its best if you can find the balance between asserting yourself in the right situation and knowing when to back down and wait.

Venus in Aries squares Pluto in Capricorn.

Mercury  in Retrograde in Aires.

Today brings a powerful transit between Venus in Aries squares Pluto in Capricorn. This  transit will cause tension and friction between the planet of love and finances and the lord of the underworld and change! This means there will be intensity and possible turmoil in our relationships over the next 3 days! If anything, this will demonstrate the importance of deep change and  the importance of getting out of our own way and seeing all sides to any story or argument in your loving relationships. Issues or stuff that we are not looking for at the moment can arise right now. Thanks to Mercury Retrograde, everything is being brought up to the surface for healing, whether we like it or not!

This is not all bad! If you are in a less than stable, unhealthy partnership, where you finally realize your own self-worth this could bring the final break or push you need to make a change. On the other, if you are in a balanced healthy relationship this transit could give you that extra push to bring up those little things that have been bugging you lately! Welcome this change  to occur so that we can move forward in a positive way (although at the time it may seem like a curse, but you will see the blessing in the lesson soon enough).

 

As I have mentioned it is Mercury retrograde be acutely aware of how you are communicating between yourself and your loved ones. Allow yourself to loosen your grip as power play dynamics and control issue will come into play and will be very strong! Just steer clear of this and especially let go of trying to control every situation, being pushy, playing a victim, don’t get jealous, don’t give into power dynamics, or obsessing and becoming very  possessive.

The reality is that you can’t control others full stop! Release your attachment to the outcome.

With Venus in Aires and Mercury retrograde this is also not a time to make new financial investments, Even if the attraction is intensely powerful

Mercury , Saturn, the Sun, Venus, and Pluto are all in Capricorn.

The Sun in Capricorn parallels Pluto in Capricorn.

As you begin the day, Mercury has joined with Saturn, the Sun, Venus, and Pluto in serious and grounded Capricorn. This is a large pile-up in a very restrictive, practical, no non sense sign. Capricorn energy will make it easier for us to concentrate on the task at hand. Our thought patterns and communication styles will be structured in a more logical, orderly, and organized. The way we show appreciation and love towards others will be in a goal orientated and planned out way!  None of this spur of the moment, wild date nights. Capricorn likes organisation, practicality and you know EXACTLY where stand in love, business and in Money matters. However the downside of too much earthy Capricorn energy is we can come across harsh, cold, unattached and over determined. We become to rigid in the way we think and perceive things. Jupiter enters Scorpio.

What a massive shift we experience today, as lucky Jupiter leaves harmonious Libra and enters into sassy Scorpio, where it will spend the next year expanding and enlarging the qualities of Scorpio. Jupiter is the planet of luck, expansion,success and abundance! Jupiter has just spent a year in harmonious, balanced, diplomatic and relationship oriented Libra. Now, as she enters Scorpio, we will experience the qualities of Scorpio expanding over the coming year until November 2018.

Jupiter is moving from an air sign into a water sign. Air signs energy is great for communication, exchanging of ideas, networking, being very light, very superficial and social. Scorpio is a fixed water sign, as a fixed sign Scorpio is more grounded and solid, it’s about control and handling of ones feelings and emotions, its intelligent and very influential to other people as they are emotionally stable, intuitive and grounded.

Today begins with the communication and thought-provoking, Mercury forming a challenging square to transformative, dark Pluto. The Sun in Libra also squares powerful Pluto today. These aspects will bring some pretty intense energy into relationships, communication and more! Today there isn’t much I can say that may lighten the mood in regards to the challenges we may face during this period. In early January of this year, the Sun joined with Pluto, and it began for many of us a cycle of deep, powerful transformation. Now it is in its third quarter square aspect, it is a time when we will all begin a process of letting go. We should be preparing to dive even deeper than we ever have over the coming year.We will be feeling these energies all day long and can be felt in a very strong way.

Pluto is the planet that relates to death, birth and transformation. It energy embodies all that is powerful and hidden. Pluto is great for seeing the shadow and hidden parts of us and digging deep getting to the truth of matters. It will be more of benefit for you to look directly into the eye of any darkness in your life. Especially any areas or issues you think that you have dealt with or have buried deep within. Where are you questioning issues of trust and safety? Where are you feeling the bitterness of past hurts or anguish.

However these aspects may have a negative side, it needs to make us aware of power or control dynamics around you, within you and your relationship around you. Also, manipulation and certain domination traits may be highlighted within yourself or others. Today is a day to best deal with whats in front of you, and not to completely bury your head in the sand. Honor your struggle and the encounters others are facing during this time. Venus moves into Cancer.

The Moon is in Scorpio.

The Scorpio Moon  sextiles Pluto in Capricorn.

The energy turns very emotional this week as today we see Venus the planet of love move into sensitive Cancer. When it is in this sign, it is at its most nurturing, most sensitive and caring. The need to care for yourself, others, animals will be strong. This includes caring for how you and others feel, and being true to yourself.

The key for today is forgiveness, forgiveness for yourself for any dramas, past hurts or disappointments that are pulling at your heart. Forgiveness for your health, forgiveness if you feel like you don’t have the life you dream off, forgiveness for any lack you may think is missing.

Venus will stay in Cancer until August 26th. We can expect to experience many emotional ups and downs in love and our relationships under this influence.Venus in Cancer is impressionable nurturing, protective, self-protective, cautious, family orientated, we experience an increase in our sensitivity and we are fertile.

The Full Moon happens in the sign of Capricorn this month. This months Full Moon is going to be a very beautiful, positive transformative Full Moon. This Moon has Pluto sitting right next to it and it has the potential to be life changing.

A Full Moon is when the Sun is exact opposite the Moon at 180 degrees. A Full Moon astrology speaking highlights opposing forces or polarities in our life. Areas can include our home life, work life, our needs, wants and especially our emotional needs verses what our egos want. Mercury in Gemini challenges Pluto in Capricorn.

The Moon who is passing through confident, adventurous,optimistic Sagittarius. We are nearly at the Full Moon can you feel the energies pulling?

This is a day to seek out adventures and to look ahead and plan more adventures. Open your mind to the way people unlike yourself live, love, and think.  Place your attention on activities that expand your mind in unexpected ways, and add some enthusiasm into all that you do and you should move forward smoothly today!

Mercury in Gemini forms a challenging aspect to Pluto in Capricorn today. Causing tension between the mind and our intellect verses the planet of birth and death and the lord of healing old wounds and past hurts. Today we may find our self viewing and communicating with others in a more critical way. If others aren’t agreeing with your ideas or adopting your methods, you might take it as a personal affront. However just watch yourself becoming to hasty and hard in our dealings others, limit how you manipulate and control situations and your responses! Use the energies in a positive way by developing strategies in dealing with handling situations more deeply. This Mercury/Pluto aspect is also great for us to express our self by communication and getting to the bottom of self truths! No better therapy!
