The Quarter Moon is Sagittarius.

The Sun in Pisces squares the moon in Sadge.

Early this morning we reach the 3rd Quarter Moon phase in Sagittarius. The Quarter Moon can be stressful if you let it! It’s a time that  raises issues that need dealing with. Is there a theme that keeps repeating itself or just trying to get your attention? Is their conflict, tension between you and someone else perhaps? Are you hitting road blocks in projects? A problem can not be solved by ignoring it, so this is the time to make peace with yourself and deal with whatever issues are coming up!

The Sagittarius Moon will form a stressful square aspect between the Sun in Pisces and it’s highlighting for us to let go of something that has been developing over the past 3 weeks. Sadge and Pisces are mutable signs, adaptable signs which means for us we can compromise, agree and see things from all sides and we have the ability to let go of issues easily.

The moon is in Taurus.

The Moon in grounded Taurus and it brings to us a stable, earthy energy to the day. Today some of you are inclined to stick with what we know, Taurus hates change and love to keep the status quo, along with keeping things simple. Taurus is ruled by romantic Venus and this allows us to connect you fully to your physical body, find the things you love about your self and appreciate them , feel sensual today. The Moon in Taurus means it’s a great day to rest, pamper yourself. Today begins with the lovely trine aspect from assertive Mars to dreamy Neptune we experienced yesterday. This aspect may make us feel light, inspired and dreaming of what to bring into the world for coming year. Today is a great day to sit down and think about what you dreamt of in January of 2017?

Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone has had a wonderful and happy holidays! Today may be challenging, confusing with energies clashing in the universe or downright difficult, unfortunately as we see the energetic, headstrong and dynamic Aries Moon engage with both Pluto and Uranus. This is going to cause some friction and some may end up in stressful conversations or situations.

Today it is very wise to watch how you  respond to others, and especially watch your verbal and emotional response in particular when talking, communicating with others and to yourself! Just be ready to get out of your own way or others who are quick to snap, are moody or on a path to self-destruction and sabotage! Peoples anxiety, fears, hurts, mood, anger and temperament is on high alert today! Remember that it’s not just you feeling this way but everyone is feeling themselves getting into a tight spot.

However, on a positive note when the planet of death and rebirth, the planet of rebellion and the unpredictable and our emotion (the Moon) is sitting in Aires, we are encouraged to be more spontaneous and our independent side will surface, we are sharp and quick to act, especially if we face certain challenges or people today.

Jupiter forms a semi-square with Saturn.

This semi square between Saturn and Jupiter is the first of three long-term aspects. We will see the next one happen in March and again in September 2018. This semi – square is here to remind us to slow down, especially in regards to long-term plans or projects. It’s about feeling the energy and the ebb and flow. This is not the time to take shortcuts it’s about taking baby steps in order to pick up the mistakes. Big Moves equals bigger obstacles and challenges, so taking it slow and going with the flow allows us to re structure, edit and smooth out those little details before moving forward. Some re-configuring of our lives and our business goals is now in order.

 

The Moon continues its transit through Aquarius. You will find that your mind will wander off to more innovative and original way of thinking. It’s a day to think outside the box or from an unusual or open-minded perspective.

Mercury, the communication planet stations direct today. Many of you have been waiting impatiently for Mercury to turn direct. This Mercury retrograde period may be officially over, but its energy is still lingering. So still expect communication breakdowns and interpretation of thoughts and ideas to be muffled! It will take a few days before you will have a full sense of forward motion. The Sun entered Capricorn today. the Sun’s forms an alignment with Saturn (also in Capricorn). It is asking us to get serious. Saturn is the planet of lessons and hard work so if things get tough just allow stress to roll off your back.

Now that the Sun is in Capricorn, it marks for us down under (the southern hemisphere) the summer solstice/litha and the winter solstice and yule in the northern hemisphere.

Capricorn’s are the type that keep their  feet-on-the-ground. They are focused, especially when reaching a work stats and goal.  This month, expect to keep your eye-on-the-prize. With Sun in Capricorn we become more realistic, this earth grounded signs approach to life is by working hard and playing hard. The Capricorn Sun energy will give us ideas on how to do things, and how to get things done. This month use the Capricorn energy to make something and your self worthwhile.

When the Sun is in Capricorn, our attention and focus is on hard work. We start to become authoritative and more disciplined and responsible. Capricorn is represented by the Goat, who no matter what condition is thrown their way or how hard the journey is to the top of the mountain, they will reach it no matter what. This serious energy is very much welcomed in my eyes, as we can welcome some discipline into our lives. I know I surely need a good shape up or a good clip around the cosmic ear as of late. This is also a great time for working on a revised plan for creating order in your life, personal, work, business and daily routines even sorting out the pantry.

The Moon leaves hard-working, responsible Capricorn behind to enter innovative, free-spirited , humanitarian Aquarius.You are able to see the bigger picture now, without getting stuck in your own personal narrative and work needs. You may notice that you are not as attached to your own emotions, personal outcomes and gains and more about the collective. The New Moon Phase today and Saturn moves into Capricorn.

Today is going to be a powerful day! both exciting and serious. We are still in the New Moon phase today and an exciting shift occurs as the planet Saturn moves into Capricorn. This is one of those weeks which just stands out  in terms of  major astrology action taking place. Exciting!

FYI – Saturn takes about 28-29 years to come full circle so most will experience this at least three times in their life. This means if you where just in a Saturn Sagittarius transit (Me including) you have every reason to let out a sigh and a big loud whoop of relief. Yay I survived Saturn!

Late Tuesday night we seen Saturn leave Sagittarius behind to enter Capricorn. Saturn, astrologically speaking is the most authoritative voice in the solar system. Saturn in Capricorn is cautious and ambitious. It teaches us through responsibilities, authority, working hard, limitations, solitude and life lessons. Saturn in Capricorn makes each individual to look very carefully at our responsibilities, at our actions, at our choices and integrity. There may be uncomfortable lessons and moments we may face! If you are in the mood, the energy will get lighter and more adventurous and fun as the Moon enters Sadge later this evening.
