Pulling at your Heart and your Mind

Early this morning, Venus the planet of love and beauty turns direct in the sign of Libra.  Making the planet of love and beauty one of two of the most influential planets in our sky today.  Since early October our love, relationships, finances as well as our ability to turn inwards has been out of whack and under a microscope, as well as our ability to understand our most personal values which has also been under a microscope. Over the coming weeks as Venus stations direct you will be able to make the necessary changes to improve these areas of your life. Now, as we move forward you can breathe a sigh of relief. Being in its home sign of Libra expect your diplomacy in love and relationships to return as your seek out a balanced and harmonious atmosphere. Gradually over the next few weeks expect your relationships and finances to move forward more easily. Clarity and confidence will emerge again in our social and love life. As Venus returns from her journey in the deep shadows, you along with many others have been facing your shadows and fears around love, self – love, money and your own self-worth and values. All good news aside, unfortunately the universe likes to have that silver lining…Mercury stations retrograde at 13’29 Sagittarius.  Bringing the planet of communication and thinking into focus..This is the cosmic joke for today, Mercury goes retrograde on the same day that Venus turns direct. Today marks the beginning of its retrograde cycle in Sagittarius before it returns to the sign of Scorpio on December 1st. Mercury retrograde will remain until December 6th. Mercury rules over our thought process, the mental realm and communication. Now as Mercury energy is turning backwards except to hit a few bumps along the road especially in regards to technology, thinking, travel and our communication with not only others but internally! Mercury retrograde is a time to rethink, review and revise the past. Mercury retrograde is not a time to begin new projects, or be tempted to start new commitments, new relationships, or new jobs if possible! This also includes avoiding signing new contracts or leases. Instead its a time of contemplation, review and  its especially a great time to catch up on tasks and projects that have been left undone. Don’t be afraid of  Mercury retrograde its a great time to tie up loose ends, for healing and finally putting to rest issues that keep arising. Get a notebook and a pen, every time you think of a new idea or if a new creative project comes to mind make a list so you can begin them once Mercury retrograde is over! Even better write a list of everything that you have begun over the past few months but have not completed start working on getting them accomplished.

New Moon in Aries.

Mercury in Aries semisquares Venus in Taurus.

We have a New Moon in Aries in our midst, as the Sun and Moon meet at 180 degree of one and another, the Moon recharges its batteries for the next lunar cycle. This month it is recharging with Aries energy. New beginnings and taking action are they key words for this New Moon. Forward momentum, getting on with things and life whilst taking action on those plans you have put aside especially now Mercury retrograde is over and it has stationed direct!

The New Moon in Aries, represents a time of going inward and regenerating. Pulling n Aries energy from the Sun. We are at a time of empowerment, progression and future thinking. Aries being the first sign of the zodiac means it is a new lunar year! Aries is a fire sign passionate and driven. New Moon in Aries.

New Moon will conjunct Uranus.

By the time we awake on Sunday morning, Mercury, the communication planet, that also rules our thought processes and travel plans stations direct at 4° Aries. Making the planet of communication and technology one of the most powerful planet in the sky. Over the next few days we will feel the energy and the pace of life pick up speed. Communications and projects become clear, we are now safe to move forward with our ideas and new projects. Sign that mortgage document, make those travel plans straighten out any mishaps with friendship and laughter and sigh it is all over for now…

Everything that Mercury rules over for the past few weeks has been muddled up, misinterpreted, we have experienced miscommunications or breakdowns. Some had conflict with others, technology issues, documentation issues and just general issues. These restrictions have been brought to the surface for us to deal with. Those delays, interruptions and breakdowns have been a lesson for us to iron out the smaller details, to heal or change something, be aware that these “issues” won’t go away until we have faced with them.

This New Moon will thrust us into a new cycle that is focused on action, bringing down obstacles, freedom and change! New Moon’s are always a rejuvenating fresh start, a mini face or soul lift if you like because they allow you to start over again. This New Moon being in the fire sign of Aries, a part of us will ignite and we are encouraged to make the changes we have secretly been wanting to begin for a while now.

Feel the power of the Ram who knocks down any and all obstacles to get what they want in life, especially if it is to do with making the changes that we have always desired. Over the next few days it is the perfect time refocus your energy, to set your intentions, and forgive yourself if needed.

The Moon transits Pisces most of the day.

The Pisces Moon forms a sextile with Pluto in Capricorn and forms a trine to expansive Jupiter in Scorpio.

Happy Friday the 13th! Lucky for us today continues with much of the same sense as yesterday, giving us a romantic, dreamy, imaginative and gentle break.We have a very  exciting weekend a head as we will see Mercury station direct ( Yay)  and a New Moon in Aries!

Over the weekend, it would be wise to spend some time alone with your own sensitivity and depth. If you are spiritual, engage with your spiritual practice and spend as much time as possible in nature or in meditation and yoga. If you are more creative than engage with your imagination to create something spectacular or something with iridescent beauty through art , music or writing. Enjoy this slower pace of life before we hit Aries energy where life is fast pace and very Go GO GO.

The Pisces Moon forms a sextile with Pluto in Capricorn and forms a trine to expansive Jupiter in Scorpio. Key words to remember today are feelings, insight, creativity, healing and expansion. Take a look at your life, this aspect is great at helping you give a face lift to certain areas that you may feel “Stuck in “. Retrograde Mercury squares Saturn in Capricorn. Causing some unwanted tension between our intellect and communication and the planet of Karma and Lessons. You can probably anticipate an early morning disagreement or worse an argument this morning if you do not watch out. This disagreement may not only be with another person but it could happen internally. Mercury in Aries is very much “I want” and ” I am going to say what I think is right”  Head butting with the Teacher and Master of structure, saying well no this is how it is going to be. This aspect could be great for reigning in your ego. The key for today is…  You must aim to not just say things or do things before thinking of the long-term consequences. Push through your sense of reluctance that Saturn will be bestowing on you today, by thinking things through on an objective level.

The day can only get better from there, and it does! For the rest of the day, you should be in relatively high spirits feeling seen and appreciated in this magical world. This is due to the Moon being in lively Sagittarius all day. The energy is lightened and the mood is tainted with a go and get them approach. You are fun and thrill seeking and are attracted to new situations especially if it means a new conquest. Remember, in all of your interactions with others keep your spirits as bubbly as possible and don’t forget to share the good positive vibes around.

The Moon is in Sagittarius.

Mars in Capricorn squares Mercury Retrograde.

By the time your day begins, the Moon has entered adventurous Sagittarius bringing a bit of liveliness to the table. When the Moon is in playful Sadge, we are adventure seeking, social and willing to learn about the world around us! Unfortunately, that fun-loving energy is contradicted by an irritable and not so friendly square between aggressive Mars and Retrograde Mercury.

Retrograde Mercury squares Mars in Capricorn. As I have mentioned this will cause some friction between our will and drive and our intellect and communication! Mercury being in retrograde means that we are not thinking things through methodically or issue’s are being brought up to the surface that we need to deal with, ad into the mix the power of our ego and drive and we have a very impulsive, reactive day! Be careful of your conversations, take time to consider what is about to come out of your thoughts and mouth. Watch out for tempers flaring, impulse behaviors, and over reacting. Do not let others temper tantrums get to you! This square aspect also causes common conflict between your responsibilities and  those things you would like to spend the day on.

The Moon enters Virgo.

Retrograde Mercury in Aires semisextiles Neptune in Pisces.

Today brings with it a Virgo Moon, inviting a more relaxed energy and slowing us down especially after the previous two days of dramatic up and downs of the Leo Moon.The Virgo Moon energy is more patient, organised and focused. It also has the ability to solve problems as well as being flexible and adaptable if needed.

Retrograde Mercury in Aires semisextiles Neptune in Pisces. Connecting our communication and conscious with the planet of intuition, illusion and mysticism. Mercury/Neptune combining energies can be great for deepening and developing our spirituality, intuition and psychic ability! Today work on your inner knowing. Meditate, have a guess who is calling before you pick up the phone, work with tarot cards, journal, dream and be creative! Your inner world and day dreaming is key right now! However, please keep in mind that Mercury is in retrograde. This is not the time to begin something, especially if it is quirky and seems brilliant just find your excitement in what is already on the table, whats in front of you, dream big, get your ideas and plans together for the right time!

 

Venus aligns with Uranus in assertive Aries today. You may feel rebellious and impatient. This alignment brings out our rebellious and imperial side! However, the transit of Uranus and Venus encourages some unwanted or wanted depending who you are intense and sudden changes in your  relationships, money, love and creative projects,l especially if you have been craving change! Expect the unexpected! Don’t take risk you are not willing to see through! Remember, this will pass in a few days, don’t jeopardize  your life especially relationships on a passing whim, emotion or restlessness.

The Moon is in Leo.

The Moon forms a trine to Mercury.

The Moon continues its transit through fun-loving playful Leo, meaning we get another day to relax into easy, playful, child like self-expression. It’s a another day we crave love and attention. It’s also great for those who have children or children in their lives to be spontaneous! Remember the joy of imagination and playing and consider spending time with them in simple, creative playful ways, bake cupcakes, play hide and seek or who doesn’t love to dress up?

When the Moon is in Leo we must also remember that life can be dramatic! Some will find themselves either center stage for good reason or for not so good reason. So watch how you treat others today, avoid being vapid and watch for your high expectation’s of others. Balance Leo’s open-hearted generosity with its s self-contentedness.

The Moon forms a lovely trine to Mercury today. This harmonious trine helps us express ourselves in a more balanced way, words will flow easily and fluent. So if you have been waiting for the chance or a right time to get those certain words out and communication something special to someone today is the day! Are you suffering symptoms of Mercury Retrograde?

Yes , we are in a Mercury Retrograde

Mercury Retrograde is great at helping bring to our attention those shadow parts of us, parts we may of felt that didn’t need healing. Mercury retrograde is great at highlighting where the healing lies and the truth can be found. In Mercury Retrograde communication, travel, technology, equipment, travel and contracts can be upside down, backwards, misinterpreted, breakdowns and unnecessary disagreements occur.

At work, you can find yourself frustrated even though you’re sure that you’ve explained yourself clearly, people around you do the opposite and your fail-proof computer crashes. You experience equipment and mechanical breakdowns of all types even at home, when out and your car!

Mercury does rule the mind, mental clarity, talking, self-expression so all these over this period can become  unreliable, filled with misinformation where important data is missing or misunderstood. During this period we should watch for too hasty communications as Mercury rules our communications and thought process and well in Aires we can become very direct ,assertive and self-centered. Say what must be said but try to remember to do so with kindness and compassion.

Mercury Retrograde in Aires gives us the courage to take action on something you have struggled with over the past few weeks. What curve balls have you been dealing with over the past month? What repetitive issues seem to be surfacing? Career, a friendship, your living circumstance, a draining relationship?

If you  have found yourself or parts of yourself being exposed, and in order to work on yourself you are stressed you must remember that you also need to love yourself unconditionally. When there is a lot going on give yourself some space, as much as the mind wants order, you will find when too much is going on we get agitated and stressed. When there is times of stress you must remember you are feeling a lot of things, so give yourself some space. Give yourself permission to experience those emotions instead of categorising it, organising it. Just let what needs to be revealed,happen. In these topsy upside and can be dark days of stress and frustration use your energy and see the small joys and blessing in your day. Even though you may be suffering and want to go on strike, see the small happy moments in the day and the lesson in the bad situations! Don’t stuff your feelings away,

The discomfort  and madness we are going through and experience on any level in Mercury Retrograde or not there is a choice to choose love and happiness! You can love someone and be mad, you can be frustrated but still caring, go with the flow, be present to everything that’s going on during this period, and don’t disqualify it because there is discomfort!! It often takes deep courage to admit to your mistakes and it is likely that is a necessary part of the conversation you must have. We all make mistakes, take responsibility and move forward with determination and love.

MERCURY RETROGRADE in Aires!

The Moon is in Gemini.

By the time you wake up this morning, the Moon has entered inquisitive, ambitious, intellectual and restless Gemini. While the Moon makes her way through Gemini, you will find that not only yourself but others  tend to be more light-hearted, social and talkative.Gemini in is an Air sign so thoughts and communications come into play today. Curiosity and being alert of your surrounds and the conversations being had will spark your interest,  also you will be more aware and more alert of others intentions. However, today being Mercury Retrograde  don’t be surprised if your communications or you normally quick ways if thinking somehow fall flat.

Mercury, the communication and mental realm planet that rules Gemini turns Retrograde This may leave you feeling somehow stuck in your communications in the way you think, your travel plans, business plans, home  loans and contracts.

During this period we may struggle or have some difficulties saying what we want to say, or saying things that leave you wondering” Why the hell did I just say that, i didn’t mean it in that context” well that’s if you can even manage to get the words out.

Keys to remember during this Mercury Retrograde…

  • It is best not to start new projects, but it is a great time to reconsidering an initiative venture or project. It’s great for coming up with new ideas and adventures, but remember do not pursue them yet!!! Dream, draw up plans, make list get the all the  information together first and review review review! It’s also strong time for returning, revisiting and rethinking an old project or pursuit you have left on the back burner.We can gain new clarity during  this upside down period!
  • The shortness of  Aries communications is magnified making it necessary to be especially careful with our choice of topics and wording. The chances of sharp or  harsh comments can do some damage in the long run.
  • Mercury rules information, communication, reasoning, our manner of thinking, travel, technology, logic and how we express all of these! Its our thought processes and all Mercury related things right now can be off-center. It may feel difficult to say what you want to say, and you can leave conversations  wondering if you were understood. Communications are scrambled. Expected the unexpected and clarify all that you do, travel plans, communication , instructions, save and back up your work and even get people to relay what you have just said to them to avoid mishaps. And if you don’t get whats being said relay it back! everyone is experience this Mercury Retrograde!
  • As I mention Mercury is related to technology so for the next month if you can avoid it, it is not the best time to buy a phone, new computer or tv.
  • Signing your life away for a new home, a lease, car or any contracts BE CARE read all the information, as not all the information is not in yet or could be missing. Human error, computer error and Mercury error is in play and we do not want to regret doing anything later.

When Mercury Retrograde is in Aries, our mind and thoughts are going at a thousand miles an hour! Everything is GO GO GO, we may get frustrated if people are not thinking or doing as quick as we are. Aries energy when communicating is magnified.. EEk making it necessary to be especially careful with our choice of words, tones and topics.There will be a chances that we may become sharp, blunt or unemotional when making comments and this can do damage. If you feel like you can’t get out of your head and its building up to a point of frustration and you want to explode take a breath, go for a walk, exercise and take some time to reign your thoughts! Do not let your temper, stubborn, impulsive mind take over your mind and how we communicate to others. Aires Mercury Retrograde has the ability to make us feel as what we say and feel is the right way, and have the arrogance to ignore the facts, When people who question our logic and reasoning we can act impulsively and aggressively! As my mother also told me ” Andy THINK before you speak or act ”

 

Some say this will be a time of tension, however, we need to remember the positive side of  Mercury in Aries. Mercury in Aires wants progress, answers, no more procrastination. Its time to push our self to make those positive steps to benefit our self in the long run. Get through obstacles, push our own boundaries, be selfish for once.We have the courage to get the message across and speak up for our self when normally we would sit in silence. When Mercury is in Aires especially when its stationed retrograde we have a great opportunity  to taker a step back and have a deeper look at our past decisions, patterns, behaviors and ideas from a new and possibly enlightening  perspective. Change is highly possible!

Please ,carefully consider how to manage the turbulent energy of Aires this Mercury Retrograde which continues until April 15th. Remember, Mercury retrograde is a powerful time for accomplishment if you plan and prepare accordingly. Something I really need to take note on!
