The Sun in Scorpio trines the Moon in Cancer. The Sun in Scorpio represents our identity, saying this… our inner energy is more intense, emotional and we feel more inclined to seek out hidden truths no matter the cost. The Moon however, is all about our emotional feelings, and in its home sign of Cancer that means that part of us that loves to nurture, be connected to family, to love, along with our intuitive and sensitive side and will be the emotions/energies strongest felt today.

Mercury conjuncts the lucky planet Jupiter. So today there will be a large focus on the way you communicate with others and how you communicate will determine how you bring about luck and expansion into your life and into theirs. This Mercury/Jupiter conjunction also inspires optimism, hope and a hint of excitement. Mercury and Jupiter reach their final alignment in star sign of Scorpio, which leads us to gaining insight into a problem, talking through issues, and seeing

Today is a unique day! It’s going to be all about forgiveness and healing. It will be about the “Why” you actually feel out with someone, or insight to any other type of miscommunication in any relationship breakdown. Healing is very possible today yay! Reconciliation is the theme for today as all parties will be able to acknowledge the part they played in a relationship breakdown. Have you been estranged from a family member, a partner or close friend? Today is the day to pick up the phone and say “i want you back in my life”.  This is largely to do with Venus retrograde in Scorpio. Venus being in Scorpio is a highly emotional position for Venus to sit in. Besides being very passionate, intense, and oh so very dark and sensual Venus in Scorpio treasures closeness along with our most valuable relationships are extremely important, actually overwhelming and consuming at times. So if you notice those around you or directly connected to you are having relationship problems this is due to the vulnerability Scorpio feels, the fear of being close or exposing your softer side to others, it’s also stemming from hidden truths and feelings being brought to the surface for healing and transformation. Dint put yourself in an all or nothing” situation if you think healing is available especially until October 31st when Venus enters into a new sign.

With Mercury in Scorpio, Venus in Scorpio and the Sun in Scorpio expect the energy to be intense and passionate, as you seeks truths in all that is hidden and hush-hush. Our communication and thought process especially around the matters of our heart, personal matters and the way we look at our self-will be more probing, deeply emotional and intense. Scorpio is great for self-healing and transformation if you are ready to take a real look at yourself and accept the parts of you that you may not like.  It’s wonderful that we all get an added boost of passion, mystery and strength, just watch out for the less favorable traits as jealously, manipulation and being vindictive.

However, it’s not all so nurturing and happy days… unfortunately we see a clash between Mars and Saturn. This morning expects to feel some tension rising as Mars forms a semi-square with Saturn. With these two masculine energies against each other today you may feel restricted and repressed. Saturn energy is all about learning, structure and mastering your life. Mars is the planet that drives our will and motivation so when they go head to head expect your strong desires to succeed and create to lead to road blocks and complications. Negative emotions such as frustration, jealously, anger and tempers will flare up today especially in regards to authority figures such as your boss, manager or family members. Don’t let yourself be effected by the limiting and rejecting feelings that may arise from the built up influences of Saturn and Mars, let your desire of finishing goals and ripping down restrictions and old beliefs be the drive you need today.  This is not a winning or overly pleasant transit and the best approach now is a not be over defensive but flexible especially if are feeling more resistance, just know everyone around you is being influenced the same so if tempers arise de-escalate the mood quickly even if you know you have not done a thing to feel someone else wrath.

Patience, perseverance and empathy will be your strong points today!

The Taurus Full Moon illuminates beauty, Love and Sensuality! 2018

Happy Full Moon Day! This Full Moon is going to be something else! The Full Moon enters Taurus today. I like most I have felt the energy of this Full Moon build all week. A Full Moon is when the Sun in Scorpio at 1 degrees fully illuminates the Moon, it also conjuncts Retrograde Venus in 4 degrees Scorpio. The Moon also conjuncts Uranus.

The Scorpio Sun at 1 degree wants some sort of emotional experience and Venus in retrograde at 4 degrees tells us that we are entitled and deserve to have an amazing emotional experience. The energy reminds you that “Yes” are meant to explore, experiment, have fun and live a little. It also invites us to dig deep, to seek and experience things you have never experienced before. Perhaps on the naughtier side of life. This week Venus and the Sun are both in a planetary placement that tempt you to try out new things, be adventurous behave in ways you normally wouldn’t.

The Full Moon is when the Sun sits opposite to the Moon at 180 degrees from each other. Full Moons are a time of strengthened intuition, heightened emotions, and you can observe unusual activity happening around you or occurring to other people. I can tell you the Full Moon makes my pets a little loony, and others can report some sleep disturbances!

This Full Moon in Taurus astrological speaking, with the rest of the universe in play is going to be pretty much bag of mixed energies. As I mentioned earlier we are in a Retrograde Venus however we also have Uranus, the planet of sudden change, revolt and the unexpected conjunct the Full Moon!

So my dear friends, ready or not BIG CHANGE is coming for us… The real challenge for us is going to be are we ready to embrace change, all the positive side and traits of Scorpio? Are you ready to go beneath the surface? To really let go of yourself and to feel intensely? Are you ready to allow yourself to transform? We must remember for change to occur we need to release old patterns and habits along with any old attachments. We must let our old identity die so we can embrace whatever change life throws at us. Particularly with all these retrograde about, telling and showing us the old beliefs that needs transforming.

This month’s Moon will be illuminated with Taurus energy that will shine down on us. Taurus energy is all about the real world, stability, structure,  finances, practicality, money, wealth, relationships, enjoying life, food, being grounded in nature, sensuality, physical body and beauty. This Full Moon is going to urge us to do something, to create something wonderful, something physical or birth something new in any of the areas I just mentioned.  This Full Moon is about  putting yourself out there and experience all the sensuality the world has to offer. Uranus the planet of eccentricity is sitting on top of Taurus stirring the pot for unexpected, radical excitement and unexpected change. This along with Venus retrograde will help illuminate you with all those twisted desires and energies that will results in physical manifestations and actions that in no means would you normally act on.

This Full Moon being in the sign of Taurus, will feel comfortable and safe. The Moon likes sitting in this sign, as we know the Moon represents our feelings and inner world. Taurus is about solidity and sensuality in aspects not only physical but in our taste, our touch, or views, using all the senses. Taurus is about if you can sense it and touch it, than it is real. The Moon in Taurus wants us to take a change, get rid of the feelings of old, the feelings that weigh you down and blur your vision of the beauty that is around you. Take all that stagnant, emotional energy and stomp it on the ground. Awaken your senses be alive! This transformational Full Moon combined with the Sun in Scorpio is really guiding us to in touch with our own complexity and how we respond in any relationship.

The Moon is in Sagittarius

The Moon in Sagittarius forms a challenging aspect to both Venus and Neptune.

The Sun in Leo sesquiquadrates retrograde Neptune in Pisces.

There may be a sense of listlessness in the air when you awake this morning. You’d like to pull the covers over your head and resist facing the day at all.

The Moon is in Sagittarius which normally keeps us feeling upbeat, adventurous, open and ready to learn and experience new ideas and directions. However, the Moon forms a challenging aspect to both Venus and Neptune. Today don’t be surprised if you feel as you are being pulled in different directions, or somewhat unmotivated and lazy! As much as you’d like to pull the covers over your head and resist facing the day or looking for an easy escape may seem like the ideal thing to do, however I can assure you that if you push yourself to experience or see things differently you will be very pleased, the world may even look different if you try just a little today. This will be especially true if you push yourself a bit to see or experience something you have resisted in the past.

The Sun in Leo sesquiquadrates retrograde Neptune in Pisces. When the planet of mysticism and dreams clashes with our ego and conscious self it creates tension between OUR reality and delusions. Try not to avoid reality today, finding a happy medium between your spirit and ego is the key for today! It’s a day for working on your creativity, dreams and spiritual; practice, however don’t get to hard on yourself or caught up in the fine details try to honor your flaws and best qualities.

New Moon Solar Eclipse in Cancer.

The New Moon Solar Eclipse in Cancer forms an opposition to both the Sun and Moon to Pluto in Capricorn.

Today we have a partial solar eclipse at 20’41 Cancer.  This eclipse is the first in the Cancer/Capricorn polarity series! What is activated or brought to Light for you right now can give you insight into the next 19 months. The effects of the Eclipse can last up to six months. The energy being brought forth will be one of family, home life and career and work life, most importantly finding a healthy balance between them both. Look in your chart to see if either of the signs are present, it will give you a clue on what to work and focus your New Moon intentions on!

So not only do we have a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Cancer, we have the Sun opposing Pluto and then the New Moon opposing Pluto.This opposition happens once a year. Therefore it is important for us to understand that we may not be to familiar with this combination of energies. To add into the mix, all these energies we will experience will be intensified by the New Moon solar eclipse! This opposition of power will creating a potent clash between our conscious self and  the Lord of transformation. When Pluto is in play its very important that we remember its energy is one of healing, rebirth and transformation. Can you think back and review whats been happening over the past 6 months?  Jupiter stations direct at 13’20 Scorpio.

Since March 9th of this  Jupiter, the planet that represents abundance, luck, expansion and higher understanding and growth has been retrograde. During the time of Jupiter’s retrograde, we have been internally reviewing and revising our beliefs and understanding of our personal path and our growth. Today as Jupiter stations direct at 13’20 Scorpio now it is a time to trust in your revision and hope it has done its work. Be ready to move in this new direction on your path . You are ready to move forward with a new enlightened outlook.

The Moon enters Gemini.

Venus enters Virgo.

Don’t be surprised if you wake up this morning with an overriding desire to procrastinate, this is due to the Moon still being in Taurus this morning. When the Moon is in Taurus we seek creature comforts, overindulging in foods and well.. we love to be lazy and lounge around.

This laid back attitude procrastination  in part is also to do with Mercury forming a square aspect to Jupiter that happens in the early hours of the day. You may feel strongly resistant to others direction and advise.We also search for meaning to our life and our place in life. This is a day you don’t want a boss or an authority figure at work. Oftentimes this energy leads to exaggeration or misjudgment so be careful in the way you speak to or with others. The procrastination will fall away by lunch time as the Moon enters Gemini. The mood lightens up and conversation became more interesting, intelligent and witty.  You can re-engage with whatever needs to be done with less internal protest.

Venus leaves playful Leo behind to enter humble Virgo until August 6th.Venus has been in Leo since the June 13th, and lets say this is not a modest and humble sign.  However now it is in Virgo expect to be more discerning in your relationships as well as you develop some refinement. Your eye is on the smallest details when it comes to romance, beauty and the finer things in life. When Venus is in Virgo we expect nothing but refinement. We are focused on vanity and on pretensions to perfection. During Venus transit through Virgo the way we express love and beauty will be through earthy practical means such as gestures, mastering the fine details of your relationships and  being of service to others and devoted. This transit gives all of us the opportunity to take a step backwards and review your current relationships both personal and business. To figure out what is working in our relationships.. and what isn’t. It’s a great time to work harder on our partnerships to strengthen them for the better.

However, the shadow side of this position is being very overly critical of our partners and friends. Outlining imperfections and being too picky. Venus in Virgo makes us more reserved when it comes to matters of the heart, we can become very shy and cautious in love. Watch out for closing yourself off and making yourself as indispensable as possible in order to protect your heart and to not let people in.

The Moon enters dreamy Pisces.

The Moon sextiles Uranus in Taurus.

The Pisces Moon sextiles Saturn in Capricorn.

The Moon leaves Aquarius behinds to enters dreamy Pisces. The Moon in Pisces has a sensitive energy and it leaves us feeling more emotional, creative, spiritual, caring passionate and intuitive! Which means these wonderful traits are awakened within us. The Moon than sextiles Uranus in Taurus. This positive and harmonious relationship with the great rebellious planet means we will have great new outrages ideas to old stale problems! The energy is also about personal freedom and self revolution!

The Pisces Moon then forms another harmonious sextile to Saturn in Capricorn. Saturn is all about structure and  hard work. Today we will find that we are more empathetic and have deep compassion and connection with others, this will be combined with the focus and hard-working strategies of Saturn in Capricorn to help us to break down barriers! The key for today is to help others by lending them your special expertise! Whether this is listening, work skills, your time, ideas or a simply compassionate smile! It’s also a great day to put in the ground work and make to effort to heal yourself, especially if it is YOU who really needs this TLC energy.  If times are especially hard at the moment or you are in an upheaval stage of your life, this energy is perfect to lighten the load! This could mean you sit and mediate on answers you need or meditate and hand over your problems to the universe, get some Reiki or a de-stressing massage.

Just a heads up, this week is full of water energy! Water is about the other side, intuition, healing, emotions and spirituality! This is a time when the Universal veil is thin and making connection to the other side will be easy. Happy Full Moon Day!The Capricorn Full Moon is at 6 degrees. A Full Moon is where the Sun and Moon are sitting at 180 degrees from each other. The Moon is completely illuminated and thus showers us with its Luna energy here on earth. Traditionally a Full Moon is a completion point of the lunar cycle and when the Moon recharges its batteries. We also experience a burst of strong energy as the Moon is highlight with the Suns energy and that is why people here on earth can act strange or loony during a Full Moon. The Sun is at 6 degree of Cancer, the Sun is our ego and in Cancer its your emotional and spiritual side shinning through, you are creative, artistic and nurturing in this sign. This Cancer energy that shines all its light onto the Moon which will be at 6 degrees of Capricorn. This Cancer-Capricorn polarity that we will experience this month asks us to find balance between our public and work life and our home and private life! As the Sun shines on the Moon, the Moon than receives its energy and we are left with the feeling of responsibility and duty this month. You may ask yourself  questions this Full Moon such as.. “How can I love myself more and take care of my self” as well as asking yourself how can I be of service and take care of others” or  “how i can i show my love and caring side to other people”. The Moon being in Capricorn will give us the practical, logical way to solving these questions, as well as loads of ideas on how to be more nurturing and caring for others! As Capricorn is all about strong work ethics these manifestations and ideas will be incorporated and expressed by you in your work.

Saturn, the structured, organised planet of lessons and Karma is at 5 degrees Capricorn. Saturn is the Ruling planet of Capricorn and its the planet that makes us build a solid, reliable and strong foundation for yourself to build your life on. When it’s in Capricorn it gives us a cosmic nudge in the right direction. It allows us to focus on our goals and gives us the ability to look at the end results and not so much the short-term journey. Life is serious business today, and these energies will find a way to bring your awareness to that fact. Mercury moves out of Cancer and into Leo. This is a big shift as our mind and intellect moves from  being sensitive to being playful, from water to fire, we see a shift from inward thinking to a more of an external focus.Our thinking is more confident and our communication is gran. We are creative in our expressions and have fun during the process of it all. When Mercury is in Leo, the energy is great for thinking creatively and even better for self-expression. We tend to be overly dramatic and we pursue the lime light and center stage! However, we can be over self-assured and we must  just watch out for coming across as narcissistic and be open to other’s perspectives.

The Sun in Cancer opposes retrograde Saturn in Capricorn. Today brings an unmistakable heavy atmosphere as the Sun in Cancer opposes restrictive Saturn. This opposition will create tension between our ego and conscious self and the Master teacher and lord of karma. In late December of 2017, we seen the Sun and Saturn come together. Consider and think back to that time… what began at that time and you may be able to see adjustments that may need to be made now. What have you created since then and where do you want to take it as you step forward. At this time  the energy demands we get real. This is a day to take yourself and your situations along with others seriously. A time to step up and take responsibility for where you find yourself in this present moment, look clearly at reality. Also to really see what IS rather than what could or used to be. It’s not a day to sugarcoat anything. This is a day to spend time alone working on your ambitions and own goals. With the Moon entering Capricorn today it means that we need to get serious about the work that we want to accomplish.

We see the Full Moon enter Capricorn late tonight! Marking the midway point of the current lunar cycle we are in that began with the new moon in Gemini on June 13th. This Full Moon pushes us to see our mistakes clearly and make adjustments. It’s a Full Moon to get real, grounded, put in the hard work and taking into account our responsibilities. It’s a time to be productive, practical and to offer kindness to anyone you encounter,  offer support of a more serious kind.

The Moon is in Sagittarius.

Mars stations retrograde at 9’13  Aquarius.

Today offers us a quieter day, a day to dream of travel and spiritual awakening. The Moon is in Sagittarius most of the day following a square aspect to dreamy, mystical Neptune early this morning. Get lost in day dreaming, arts or curl up and watch a movie that ignites your imagination.Allow yourself to dream, allow yourself to imagine any and all expansive explorations that you desire. With mars turning retrograde today it is not a day to try to accomplish anything or start new projects. This is a day meant for dreamers.

The highlight of the day is when Mars turns retrograde at 9° Aquarius. Mars will remain in retrograde until August 27th, 2018.When Mars stations retrograde, it is not a time to take action or initiate new things. It is more of a time when we need to re-assess our approach to getting what we want, our current projects or hobbies and our desires and needs. This energy is one of healing and a time to deal with the past. Look to the house in your natal chart that holds Aquarius  as you consider how to use this retrograde. Some can find it  difficult to know what we want as the shift occurs, as well as how to organize  our emotions especially the hot-headed ones such as rage, anger, control and jealously. During this retrograde phase, learning to reign in your will, rage, drive, anger and aggression and work to master these characters, that is the key over the coming weeks. It is also important that you examine how you have been using anger, aggression, and drive in your life. To make amends, to re-visit and release. It is a time to learn new ways to direct these energies moving forward.
