Crescent Moon in Taurus.

The Moon in Taurus opposes Jupiter.

Today the Moon is still in steadfast grounded Taurus. The Moon and Taurus go really well together.They are both creatures of comfort and habit! Today allows your heart to embrace the excitement and pleasure of the finer things in life, such as food, relaxing, entertainment, treating yourself to the naughtier things in life or by simply enjoying all the beauty that is all around you. Sensual pleasures and activities along those lines appeal now more than usual, as Taurus is ruled by Venus who is all about love! Taurus is a fixed, Earth sign that represents being grounded, reliability, growth and appreciation. A lesson we could learn today is patience, acceptance and to bring beauty into our lives. Such as buying some fresh flowers for the house or a scented candle or some art. We could be kinder to yourself and others, give someone the benefit of the doubt or treat yourself to a massage.

The Moon in Taurus opposes Jupiter. Jupiter is the lucky planet of expansion and abundance but when these to opposes each other we’re tempted to go overboard on any activity that is taking our fancy., especially if it is to combat boredom. Taurus as I have mention is ruled by Venus who is also about money and finances and with Jupiter in play we may go over board on our spending! So watch your wallet today and watch yourself overindulging especially if you are trying to watch your weight as over eating and drinking is a major possibility today!

Also, remember guys tomorrow Mercury stations retrograde in fiery Aires until April 15th. If you have noticed  communication breakdowns, travel plans muddled up and technology mishaps have been occurring this week it is because we are leading up to Mercury retrograde. Our communication and thought process could get a tad feisty, egotistic and forceful more than normal during this period. A good way to keep your mind clear is to prepare and choose your battles wisely ! Start a list of all projects or anything else that needs to be done or has been left undone over the past few months, ponder on them and don’t relaunch them until this period of Mercury Retrograde is over! Don’t sign any official documents  unless its necessary! Consider yourself warned!

Mercury cojoins Venus in Aries, bringing a harmonious and friendly alignment of the mind and the heart. As they are in Aires this energy is fiery, passive aggressive and assertive. This week Mercury’s is slowing down motion as he is about to station retrograde on 22nd! Mercury/Venus energy  is great for communicating and relaying our feelings and thoughts. So today use the energy wisely sharing your feelings, and future thoughts and ambitions, share your desires, passions and its op to also talk about your frustrations, anger and things that have been bugging you!

We are still in the New Moon phase.The New Moon is in Aries and Aires Moon days the energy feels like we are flying, it’s a fast pace forward moving energy. We knock down any obstacles in our way. Seeing we had a New Moon in Pisces that made up open up and dream for our future, the energy today can help us knock over any doubts or walls we or others may of put up! Have faith that your dreams will come true even if they may seem far-fetched! Send time on your seeds of intention, give them the attention they needs and nurture them!

 Venus moves out of Pisces and into Aries.

Mercury enters Aires.

By the time you awake today much like last night, Mercury had entered assertive, head strong Aries. Mercury has been in Pisces since February 17th, encouraging a dreamy, passive and imaginative thought processes and communication vibe. Now that Mercury is in Aires that dream like illusion state of the past month is broken and the energy increases and intellectual stimulation is about to surface and push our boundaries. Mercury retrograde begins on March 22nd and that means Mercury will remain in Aries until May 13, as it moves through a Aires than retrogrades back through Aires. if there is something that you have not had the courage to say or do now is the time!

Today also brings lovely Venus out of Pisces and into Aries. The Goddess of love and beauty picks up the pace and leaves that dream and  fantasy state of Pisces and brings us to a time to face up to reality. The energy moves from water to fire, from laid back to passionate! Light up the inner goddess and God!  Venus in Aries is very focused on pursuing her own desires and wants, last month is was about pleasing others and now its the time to please our self! It is also a great time to get clear on your individual values, business and personal relations and finances. Use this time to take the steps necessary to make your relationship and your finances work over the coming months. it’s now a time to push forward in all your endeavors.

However, Aires energy tends to be very self orientated, so please just watch out for the shadow of Venus and Mercury in Aires such as aggression, being selfish, and overly only focused on our own needs and desires  at the expense of others.

The Moon is in Scorpio.

Mercury , Saturn, the Sun, Venus, and Pluto are all in Capricorn.

The Sun in Capricorn parallels Pluto in Capricorn.

As you begin the day, Mercury has joined with Saturn, the Sun, Venus, and Pluto in serious and grounded Capricorn. This is a large pile-up in a very restrictive, practical, no non sense sign. Capricorn energy will make it easier for us to concentrate on the task at hand. Our thought patterns and communication styles will be structured in a more logical, orderly, and organized. The way we show appreciation and love towards others will be in a goal orientated and planned out way!  None of this spur of the moment, wild date nights. Capricorn likes organisation, practicality and you know EXACTLY where stand in love, business and in Money matters. However the downside of too much earthy Capricorn energy is we can come across harsh, cold, unattached and over determined. We become to rigid in the way we think and perceive things. We have the ability to neglect others thoughts, feelings, opinions and communication can be very serious and direct. Otherwise, if you need a fine tune up after the Christmas holidays, a little sharpening of your focus, your intentions, your health, business, work, and what is really relevant to us this year,this energy can be very useful now.

The Sun in Capricorn parallels Pluto in Capricorn, echoing the Sun/Pluto conjunction that was exact earlier this week on Tuesday. From Tuesday to Thursday of this week, we have been experiencing a super aspect between the center (Sun) of our galaxy & the furthest planet at the edge of our galaxy (Pluto). This means they amplify, but it also exacerbates their energy together.

Its energy is one that if we surrender our will , egos, past trauma and wounds to a Higher Power you can expect healing and re birth of a new you! What needs purging? The Moon is in Aquarius.

 Mercury stations direct at 13’00 Sagittarius.

Jupiter forms a semi-square with Saturn.

This semi square between Saturn and Jupiter is the first of three long-term aspects. We will see the next one happen in March and again in September 2018. This semi – square is here to remind us to slow down, especially in regards to long-term plans or projects. It’s about feeling the energy and the ebb and flow. This is not the time to take shortcuts it’s about taking baby steps in order to pick up the mistakes. Big Moves equals bigger obstacles and challenges, so taking it slow and going with the flow allows us to re structure, edit and smooth out those little details before moving forward. Some re-configuring of our lives and our business goals is now in order.

 

The Moon continues its transit through Aquarius. You will find that your mind will wander off to more innovative and original way of thinking. It’s a day to think outside the box or from an unusual or open-minded perspective.

Mercury, the communication planet stations direct today. Many of you have been waiting impatiently for Mercury to turn direct. This Mercury retrograde period may be officially over, but its energy is still lingering. So still expect communication breakdowns and interpretation of thoughts and ideas to be muffled! It will take a few days before you will have a full sense of forward motion. However its still exciting because we are on our way forward! I know most of us ready to get going and to move forward with those new projects, ideas, travel plans, signing of official documents along with a sigh of relief that communications will be clear and no more misunderstandings. No more technology meltdowns and travel disruptions, YAY.

Mercury’s journey has been a time for us to reflect, rethinking, review and revise  all areas of our life, especially areas or concerns that have not been working out how you wanted them to. It brings certain truths and hidden problems to the surface. It brings in new ways of realizing these problems (which most of us kept swept under the rug). Mercury being in Retrograde gets us along with giving us the courage to speak up and bring those concerns to the surface, to work out and smooth over issues. It’s about changing for the better and sending anything troubling us to the universe for transmutation.

Retrograde Mercury cojoins Venus in Sagittarius.

The Moon is in Scorpio, until it enters Sagittarius tonight.

The Moon stays in Scorpio most of the day until enters Sagittarius later tonight. If you are in the mood, the energy will get lighter and more adventurous and fun as the Moon enters Sadge later this evening. Its Friday, grab your friends, go for dinner, dancing or tap into your inner child and make tonight’s date night fun and full of laughter.. Ten pin bowling  or karaoke anyone??

Mercury Retrograde joins with Venus in Sagittarius. What a magical connection! This energy will help you to pull your thoughts, they way you communicate, ideas and  the way we think to issues of love, beauty and money. Venus is supporting us astrology by helping us get in touch with our dreams, our deepest needs and values. What makes your heart sing? What beauty or inspiration is missing from your life? This planetary aspect will help you down the right path and smooth over the pot holes along the way!

The ideas and inspiration that comes to you now may not be new ideas as such. They are most likely to be renewed ideas and inspiration. If you are way too excited and the feeling of new ideas can not be put on the back burner, getting an action plan for recycling these old perspectives during this period is great. Murphy’s law states that during Mercury retrograde you will run into hiccups, communication errors, technology issues, foggy thinking and problem solving. However,  if you can find the light and fix the problems that arise now, imagine how bright you will shine bright when Mercury stations direct.

Sun in Sagittarius joins Mercury Retrograde.

The Moon is in Libra.

The Moon spends the day in Libra again today, as like yesterday we’re doing a balancing act and creating harmony in our world. We draw upon our charm, charisma and our negotiation skills now. The ease of Monday’s and today’s balanced Libra Moon, gives way to more activity and the possibility of tension as the Moon makes a difficult challenging aspects to both destructive Pluto and rebellious Uranus. If you can do anything today, make sure if tension arises, especially form the past to re-engage and re focus your emotions, think before you react and see the story from all sides before you act out on emotions and thoughts.

The adventurous, fun-loving Sagittarius Sun joins with talkative Mercury. Today marks  the midway point of the current mercury retrograde journey, YAY! Mercury has the ability for us to place the focus on our thoughts and communications. Today with the Sun and Mercury interacting we gain some insights or have “aha” moments, as information or certain truths come to Light, especially truths that have been hard to come up with a conclusion or closure.

Today, with the Sagittarius and Libra energy, mixed with Mercury illuminating the skies, it is going to be a good day to interact with others. However, don’t forget for a single moment that we are still in Mercury retrograde, and that means the conversations we hear or the way we interpret the conversation or messages could be a mixed bag. Make sure you hear what is actually being said rather than what you expect to hear or want to hear. Besides the jumbling of information it will either be a great day or mingling and excitement or challenging and regretful. This alignment between Mercury and the Sun also highlights or awaken new ideas and inspiration pay attention to your thoughts.

Retrograde Mercury in Sagittarius semi squares Jupiter in Scorpio.

The Moon is in Leo.

Retrograde Mercury in Sagittarius forms a challenging semi squares Jupiter in Scorpio. This can cause some tension between what the mind thinks and what the truth actually is. Communication, truths and finding out what is hidden in the shadows will be tempting today but if we have strength and willingness to work within our self to uncover whats hidden within, waiting to be healed is the key today and not trying to find the dark shadow truths of others. Furthermore, watch out in the way you communicate today, as your’s and others communications can be off and misinterpreted, also watch out for speaking carelessly and pay attention to slips of the tongue! As we are in Mercury retrograde and our thoughts, reactions and communication can be misunderstood, and unexpected mishaps can happen right now! The best way to navigate through this energy is to take things slow and to give yourself time, With Mercury in Retrograde rocking the boat with Saturn still, we are still feeling its impact and rocky energy. Try to take any challenges with a grain of salt.

With the Moon being in playful Leo today, the Leo energy eases up the tension in the air, as it is great for treating yourself to some fun, excitement or chase your expressive creative pursuits. Make it a priority today to do something you love. Go to the beach, see a movie, take your dog for a walk, get your energy up and active, go on a date or dance the night away. Retrograde Mercury cojoins Saturn.

The Moon enters Leo.

Retrograde Mercury cojoins Saturn in Sagittarius for the second time in the past 10 days. (Mercury first met Saturn on November 28th). Mercury/Saturn aligns the mind and our intellect with the planet of karma and Mastery. Today begins with your attention clearly being directed to the challenging obstacles or walls that seems to stand in the way between you and what you are seeking to accomplish. This alignment between Mercury/Saturn tends to have the effect of forcing a solution, reality, or an answer on us. This can be done be hard reality checks, wake up calls and serious conversations so pay attention to where you are being asked to step it up. Do not try to tear that wall down or trip over yourself in the process, take the Universe’s direction to slow down. Speak directly with integrity, and accept the fact that some particular walls cannot be scaled at this time. Remember some “No” are not forever, maybe something better is being lined up for you!

The Moon enters expressive, playful Leo, moving you to release the sensitivity of the Cancer Moon over the past few days. Work on being expressive, creative and put yourself out there and share yourself with others in heartfelt ways, whilst remembering not to  over dramatize yourself and the issues you are dealing with.

Full Moon and Mercury Retrograde December, 2017.

This is the Christmas full Moon and it happens at 11 degrees in Gemini. The Full Moon has building up all month and now its reaches its fullest. It is fully illuminated by the Sun in Sagittarius and  is ready to shine down and share with us all this Gemini/Sadge  energy. Full Moons give us more energy, we get supercharged and we feel there is more going on behind the scenes. Being everything is at 11 degrees ie the Sun/ Moon which interesting, as the Moon is sitting at 11 degrees Gemini and if you look at Gemini its symbol is represented by 11. The number 11 is all about new doors opening, a new chapter, a new beginnings and opportunities, it’s about life changing decisions, marriages, partnership, new doors opening and new jobs.

This Full Moon has some significant energy presented to us this month. Gemini is ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication, our thought process, travel and insight. This Full Moon has a great potential for us to make change in our life and to transform it. If you can picture this Full Moon as a magical door way (like Narnia) Opening us up to a magical new life of manifestations, new beginnings and abundance. Its going to be very impressive, and don’t be surprised by this all as 11:11 brings in the help of our guides, god, the universe, angels, ancestors and guardian angels to help you along the way to get you to the moment of awakening and insight.

The Gemini Full Moon brings full illumination to what occurred at the Scorpio New Moon last month on November 18th, 2017. Take out your New Moon wish book, because whatever your focus was on or whatever you began at the New Moon will now show its results, unless the universe has better plans for you!

Traditionally a Full Moon is a time to express ourselves and to let things out of our systems. Release what no longer serves us or holds us back. Out with the old physical, emotional, spiritual and mental baggage to make room for bigger better things. Of course, however we might want to exercise some care and caution while doing so especially in the way we talk, communicate and process our thoughts. As Mercury did station retrograde on the same day. Which means communications, our thinking and taking in information has the potential to be scrambled or misinterpreted and what is coming out of us may not particularly rational, our dialogue can be misread and the way we communicate could be one-sided or misinterpreted.

The Sun is at 11 degrees in Sagittarius and is 180 degrees away from the Moon illuminating it. The Gemini-Sagittarius polarity axis is some what divergent as Gemini represents our “lower mind” and Sagittarius represents our “higher mind” The Sun in Sagittarius itself is all about a higher learning and understanding. Sagittarius persuades us to think in a far broader manner,we seek mystical knowledge, expand our learning in unconventional ways. We want to connect to the divine and embark on care free adventures. Where as a Gemini encourages us to think logically, practically and factual.

Those of us who are abstract thinkers, this Full Moon is really going life the veil and help up reach that higher self and learning, meditating will be great to connect with these other realms and absorbs new information

The Full Moon is almost exact square to Neptune in Pisces at 11 degrees. Neptune in Pisces is happy, it’s a water sign of dreaming illusion, INTUITION, fantasy, denial and escapism. This can points to confusion, as the Gemini Full Moon wants to be clear, logical with clarity,but when this planet ( Neptune) is involved, it may make things foggy and unclear.

Traditionally Full Moons are about clearing out the clutter, releasing what no longer serves us, gaining clarity and recognition, and Gemini energy especially demands we see reality and logic. Of course with this Neptune’s square to the Moon reality may be hard to see unfortunately. Be smart and grab what information is given to you. If you are in denial and outright avoiding reality or are unsure with what information or situations you are given, retreat, go home snuggle in your safe place and sift through the information that is given. Your guts or “intuition” will let you know whats right for you.

The ruler of this Gemini Moon is Mercury, who may I add just stationed retrograde late last night. Mercury has turned retrograde at 29° Sagittarius. Mercury has a wonderful way to make us return to a past problem or discussion and revise and review, but on a positive note with a critical eye. Communication within yourself and others can be misunderstood and miscommunication, it’s important to keep in mind we are in Mercury Retrograde and that we don’t have the full story and information the same as others are being affected just like us. There are easy ways to survive Mercury Retrograde over the next 3 weeks. Get a notebook and a pen out. Make a list of everything that you have begun but haven’t completed in the past few months, house jobs, issues that have been bugging you, that certain talk with someone you have been avoiding, organisation of your car, work and home, that art piece, your tax, assignments etc.. During the Retrograde, focus on yourself and get to work on accomplish what is on that list! If your mind wonders like me, make sure you accomplish only what is on this list maybe have a reward system in place for when you are done, and hay there is no better feeling than ticking boxes off a to do list.

Remember don’t be afraid, worried, or concerned! Mercury retrograde brings us a great gift, the perfect opportunity to wrap up loose ends and cut cords! The shadow side of Mercury retrograde is that yes travel plans can have hiccups, communication between others can get misinterpreted and lead to problems, appointments booked by yourself, but you turn up and it was never booked in at all, computers and technology can crash,emails and memos can get lost. Anything that Mercury rules over can or may go wrong! Most important don’t be tempted to start new projects, start a new jobs, sign documents (Unless necessary) take on new commitments or commit to new relationships.
