The Moon is in Virgo.

The Virgo Moon makes is an opposition to Neptune.

Today astrologically speaking its a nice day and very low-key in regards to the energy around. The one aspect that may affect people today is the Virgo Moon making an opposition to Neptune. Causing some tension and bringing some challenges to your ability to find clarity in the details. Some will find it hard it to concentrate, finding that their mind wanders off and day-dream throughout this morning.

The Moon is still in Virgo, and its asking us to find a steady pace of activities that focus on the finer detail, we enjoy doing this with careful efficiency and even nitpicking at detail. Virgo’s are practical, and great at coming up with solutions, however just be careful at becoming over critical and judgmental. Just stick to whats in front of you from a structured and helpful point of view. Perception, and having a positive, detailed view-point on your organisational skills and work life will be in focus today. Along with taking a stock take of your health, diet and exercise regime, with the added bonus of making changes.

First quarter Moon moves in Taurus.

The Taurus Moon trines Saturn in Capricorn and squares Venus and the Sun  in Aquarius.

We see the first quarter Moon moving into Taurus. The Moon in Taurus is making us get into the real world, its pushing us to become more serious and lay practical foundations that will see you through the long-term. Taurus energy is grounded, placid and earthy. Its rigid and it all about security. Its pushes us to seek comfort and security in our world. However, the Moon and Taurus go hand in hand, and the both connect on a food level, and love to over indulge in the finer things in life such as naughty treats, alcohol and everything you know you love but should only have in moderation! When the Moon is in Taurus we also tend to become a tad lazy, loving to lounge around which is great if you have the option. If not treat yourself to a massage, take yourself to the movies or a late lunch with friends as Taurus motto is ” Why Rush”  and has an easygoing and laid back feel to the day.

The Taurus Moon than forms a trine to Saturn in Capricorn (More earth energy) and squares Venus and the Sun in Aquarius ( Air energy). We have a good balance of energies going on today. Between the earthy energy, which is about being practical, working hard and security and Air energy, that is all about ideas, communication, inspiration and insight. By using your ideas along with your technical expertise to make changes in your practical life, will come more naturally and easier today.  Such as finding a new job, making new friends, reaching out and making practical social connections. It’s a great day to use your intellect and your practicality to use, you will be amazed on how far you will go. Think large and see things on a bigger scale.

The Moon leaves Scorpio and enters Sagittarius.

Mercury cojoins Saturn in Capricorn.

By the time you begin the day, the Moon has moved away from being deeply emotional and dark to an idealistic, freedom-seeking energy of Sagittarius. Adventures,an attitude change and an energy boost as we aim high today. Sagittarius is an optimistic sign, you may feel the need for autonomy, seeking physical and emotional space. The need for fun and adventure is a high priority today as you feel the need to explore the world around you.

Although the day is likely to be relatively upbeat, by lunch time, you may feel Mercury’s connection to Saturn looming. Mercury cojoins with Saturn in Capricorn. This will be the final of 3 Mercury/Saturn conjunction. We seen the first two meetings between these two last year when Saturn was in Sadge, and then we had Mercury retrograde which this aspect caught a ride on the back-end of its retrograde journey.   This Mercury/Saturn conjunction is great for getting focused, becoming mature, getting our feet solidly on the ground, becoming more serious and mastering your self in the way you communicate and think. Something new is being seeded and new energies are incoming.

Mercury in serious Capricorn conjunts Saturn in Capricorn, who is also very serious. Saturn will be in Capricorn until 2020. Saturn in Capricorn energy is very straight forward, if you want something you are going to have to work hard towards getting it. It’s about taking responsibility and owning up to your actions or how you act in and present yourself in situation that comes your way. If you want something in life you need to work for it, be responsible and stick to what is expected of you. Saturn is all about karmic lessons and when it’s in Capricorn its making us step up and own our life!

The Moon in Sagittarius squares Neptune in Pisces. Neptune being the planet that is linked with our dreams and imagination, intuition, and Sagittarius is the sign of being upbeat, energetic and an adventures energy. So this energy will hep counteract the seriousness of Mercury/Saturn today and lighten the energy.

Today we are very self-aware,  indeed many may be to serious at the moment, contemplating over issues, but try not to fall into the trap of pessimistic thinking. The lighter side of the energies today means maybe we have come to realize that we have been taking life way to serious as of late, and you may stop and have a good laugh at how rigid and stern you have become. lighten up today and remember to have a laugh. You may even realize how crazy the expectations you have given yourself and others and you lighten up and ground yourself into a more balanced way of life!

I mentioned yesterday where did Capricorn falls your natal charts, This is major as all year-long in 2018 there is a massive focus on the Capricorn part of the sky, so where Capricorn is in your chart it can bring in some important awareness and useful insights around what path of mastery, evolution and responsibility is being asked of us this year.  Pay attention!

The Moon enters Virgo.

Mars in Scorpio semisquares Saturn in Capricorn.

Today begins with the Moon moving out of playful Leo and into diligent, organised Virgo. When the Moon is in Virgo we find our self focusing more on the finer details. We are serious, organised and very particular in the way we set out to get task done. However remember that the Virgo Moon can bring you face to face with the imperfections in life. Especially your inner imperfections and we can become very critical of our self and others. I say this often and i mean it. Be kind to yourself and others. Extend kindness to everyone you meet today,  It is more important now than you realize.

Mars and Jupiter both in the sign of Scorpio, are forming sextiles to one another tomorrow. This is wonderful aspect as we are about to head into a period of self growth and expansion, new ideas, new relationships business and romantic. It’s a real go getting attitude. We will really get into new projects and the spirit of things.

Mars in Scorpio semisquares Saturn in Capricorn. This is going to cause some friction and intense energy between the planet that drives our will and desire and the planet of Karma and the Master teacher.  Both of these willful and over focused signs being in an intense aspect could mean that our ego’s may need to kept in check. We may feel the need to become dominating and controlling of situations, but this is not the approach we should have today. Saturn is about lessons, so remember when we make decisions and actions out of fear we are not steeping into our power. The key is to take action from a place of love and balance.

Uranus turns direct at 24° Aries

Happy Tuesday everyone! As we see the Capricorn Sun inch closer to powerful  transformational Pluto, we could start to feel the intensity of the year ahead. Today at some stage compassion and tolerance may not come easy with the Full Moon opposing Saturn, Venus and the Sun. The serious Capricorn Sun forms a sweet sextile aspect to Neptune early in the day. The Sun in Capricorn sextiles Neptune in Pisces. This aligns our conscious self and ego with the planet of dreams, mysticism and spirituality.  This Sun/Neptune alignment is going to leave us feeling dreamy, romantic mystical and all loved up! This will also allow the possibility of making contact with a mystical or imaginative side of yourself. Take time to turn within and unlock the hidden key of Spirit hidden within ourselves. Neptune and the Full Moon are really good for tapping into your intuition,so pay attention to your dreams they could be hinting at what is to come! It’s also great day to get creative!!!

Uranus turns direct at 24° Aries after being retrograde since August 3, 2017.Thus making the rebellious revolutionary and Great Awakener one of the most the most powerful planet in the sky along with this Super Full Moon! If you have planets between 22° and 24° Aries, you can expect excitement, unexpected news or upheaval. Over the past several months of Uranus retrograde, we have been faced and been experiencing a force within us to make change and self revolution within. However now that Uranus is stationing direct we can expect and experience some big shifts in our inner and outer world. This week watch out for sudden impulsive energy, we must remember that what is above is the same below and although yes we want change and to be free, our needs to be balanced, we need to find stability we need to ground our self. Emotions will be high, with a Cancer Full Moon AND Uranus stationing direct, this powerful shift occurring can results in sudden burst of anger, becoming impulsive, over reactive, aggressive, sadness , depression (in yourself, in others).

Super Full Moon in Caner 2018.

Happy New Year everyone.

A Super Full Moon in Cancer occurs on Monday or Tuesday depending where in the world you live!

A Super Moon isn’t a regular Full Moon. A Super Moon is a Full Moon that is the closet it can be to earth. It appears to us at least 16% larger for us to see. Because it is nearer to the earth its energies along with the Moons effects are felt on a much larger scale. The Moon as we know rules over the tides in the ocean, and with the Moon being bigger and closer to earth the tides will be much larger and powerful and so will our emotions as Cancer ( a water sign) rules the Moon. To add more to the crazy Super Moon energy, we are all made up mostly of water, and most are going to be affected by this much more than usual. The frequencies emanating from the Super Full Moon affect the frequencies of the mental body, our minds, our feelings, emotions and desires. Have you been kept awake all night for no reason? Felt the intense energy of the Full Moon building all week? Having psychic or vivid dreams? People acting strange and unusual? Have you or people you encounter act super over reactive, moody, cry for no reason or are super happy? The Moon can have this effect on many of us!

The Sun (in Capricorn) being the light giver is shinning its light onto the Moon. The Moon than illuminates us with its Luna energy. It also symbolizes we have reached a completion point in the lunar cycle. Everything we have been working towards these past weeks will reach its peak as this Full Moon will just explode with light, love and let everything go that no longer serves a purpose! It showers us with energy of releasement and fulfillment.

A Full Moon occurs when the Cancer Moon at 180 degrees exactly opposes the Capricorn Sun at 180 degrees. The year begun with the focus squarely on family and emotional security. This Super Full Moon is at 11° Cancer. So Cancer energy will be illuminating and shinning its qualities onto us here on earth. Cancer is about nurturing, intuition, families, safety and emotional security. The Cancer-Capricorn polarity ( Being exactly 180 degrees from each other) means that Capricorn quality opposes you and what your interested in at this current moment, but we must find balance. We are more interested in Qualities represented by Cancer such as our private life, our family life, domesticity, our need for a safe loving home, providing and very nurturing versus Capricorn Qualities such as our public life, being super focused on our career, our reputation, stability, practicality and being in the here and now long with accountability. This Full Moon is about balancing our commitment to our career and families. In some ways, you can look at the polarity energies with finding a balance between unconditional love and conditional love. Just a heads up, by neglecting either end of the Capricorn/Cancer axis, this will surely backfire on you. Ideally, we should all try to find a balance between the two energies, and this is what the Super Full Moon invites us to do.

This Super Full Moon in the water sign of Cancer you may notice yourself unusually interested in creating or deepening powerful loving bonds, being over affectionate, wanting to nest in your home, baking, caring for others, being overly sooky and very nurturing to others. Cancer is all about their internal home as well, its internal feelings and emotions, deep analyzing, and even deeper thoughts and self connections. People who have been feeling lost and disconnected from them self-will begin to reconnect with themselves and who they really are. You will find you are searching for attachments and love, placing roots down, being proud and valuing your home and everything and everyone in it.

This sensitive Cancer Moon forms some serious aspects and has sharp conversations with Venus, Saturn, and the Sun. This is suggesting that work and effort is needed to bring what is necessary into focus, especially when writing out what big plans you have for this year along with releasing any blockages holding you back. Full Moons are all about letting go and releasing what no longer serves us. By the time the evening comes around, it brings a lovely Neptune dream state quality that helps you to release and loosen up from the seriousness of the early part of the day and helps us engage in loving dreams of the future.

Furthermore, Something has been building up inside of us, have you felt it? I sure have! This is now the time when we get support from the energy of the cosmos that demands that we let it out. If you can not quite pin point what it is, over the next few weeks, you will get ‘Aha’ and awakening moments to discover what this means for you. Its time to express whats been building up inside. This Cancer Full Moon will align with Venus and then forms a harmonizing aspect Neptune and Mars. Some may express their neediness!! However as needy as we can be under the Cancer influence we may swing from independence to dependence during this  time.

 

This Super Full Moon is really going to illuminate and prompt us to get in touch with our self, with those things in our personal lives that we may have been putting off and neglecting. A real push for self emotional nurturing is the key this Full Moon. Write down what is working and what isn’t and think about what you can do to make change. Set some goal;s for 2018.  We have spent more time focused lately on our  careers, relationships and personal plans as of late, that we have just simply left our emotions unbalanced and on the back burner, not good at all.

Its time for change! We must remember that lots of Light tends to illuminate the darkest shadows of us all , so use this Full Moon to release and let go and make room for change! This Super Full Moon will also reminds us that to truly move forward and evolve as a soul we must deal with and address the past. This is not one of Cancer strong point, sometimes we have a hard time doing so, be kind to yourself if past issue and hurts arise, run yourself a bath, cook a nice meal, watch your favorite movies, get out in nature, put your feet in the sand and ground yourself.

This super, sensitive, nurturing and caring Full Moon is going to be a time for love, romance, fertilization and relationships. What we begun back at the last New Moon is now at a time of culmination and the promise of fulfillment with this Full Super Moon!

The moon is in Taurus.

The Moon in grounded Taurus and it brings to us a stable, earthy energy to the day. Today some of you are inclined to stick with what we know, Taurus hates change and love to keep the status quo, along with keeping things simple. Taurus is ruled by romantic Venus and this allows us to connect you fully to your physical body, find the things you love about your self and appreciate them , feel sensual today. The Moon in Taurus means it’s a great day to rest, pamper yourself. Get a massage, enjoy the naughty things in life-like a good meal,take a bath, or make love. buying something pretty that make you happy or indulge in comfort food as this self-love helps stabilize emotions by us connecting with the body.

Some handy affirmations when we have Taurus energy around is ‘Thank you, Universe/ god/angels etc – I am safe, wise, happy,  I am worthy and all my needs are provided for! Another good one is , I attract all the abundance and wealth I need and i am financially stable.

Another great idea is to head out into nature, go for a bush walk, a beach walk a lake walk. Simple putting your bare feet on the ground helps ground  us and our energy.

The Sun moves out of Sagittarius and into Capricorn

The Moon moves into Aquarius.

the Sun’s forms an alignment with Saturn.

The Sun entered Capricorn today. the Sun’s forms an alignment with Saturn (also in Capricorn). It is asking us to get serious. Saturn is the planet of lessons and hard work so if things get tough just allow stress to roll off your back.

Now that the Sun is in Capricorn, it marks for us down under (the southern hemisphere) the summer solstice/litha and the winter solstice and yule in the northern hemisphere.

Capricorn’s are the type that keep their  feet-on-the-ground. They are focused, especially when reaching a work stats and goal.  This month, expect to keep your eye-on-the-prize. With Sun in Capricorn we become more realistic, this earth grounded signs approach to life is by working hard and playing hard. The Capricorn Sun energy will give us ideas on how to do things, and how to get things done. This month use the Capricorn energy to make something and your self worthwhile.

When the Sun is in Capricorn, our attention and focus is on hard work. We start to become authoritative and more disciplined and responsible. Capricorn is represented by the Goat, who no matter what condition is thrown their way or how hard the journey is to the top of the mountain, they will reach it no matter what. Capricorn energy really helps us cut the fluff , the maybe’s, the airy fairy and wishy-washy out of our life. Capricorn makes us focus on the important things that contribute positively in our world. Capricorn energy helps us to decide what we want to build in our lives. It gives you a solid foundation of power, ambition a drive  to work hard and build your futures.

However, as above as below. Everything has a polar opposite. The shadow side of this sign is that we must watch out for being overly controlling, hard, emotionally repressed and cold, reserved, unforgiving, unsympathetic, rigid and to much of a  perfectionist.

This serious energy is very much welcomed in my eyes, as we can welcome some discipline into our lives. I know I surely need a good shape up or a good clip around the cosmic ear as of late. This is also a great time for working on a revised plan for creating order in your life, personal, work, business and daily routines even sorting out the pantry.

The Moon leaves hard-working, responsible Capricorn behind to enter innovative, free-spirited , humanitarian Aquarius.You are able to see the bigger picture now, without getting stuck in your own personal narrative and work needs. You may notice that you are not as attached to your own emotions, personal outcomes and gains and more about the collective. You are able to be more objective regarding situations and circumstances you find yourself in.

The Aquarius Moon is understanding and compassionate towards others, you may start to think outside the box or what society calls “Normal”.

Retrograde Mercury cojoins Venus in Sagittarius.

The Moon is in Scorpio, until it enters Sagittarius tonight.

The Moon stays in Scorpio most of the day until enters Sagittarius later tonight. If you are in the mood, the energy will get lighter and more adventurous and fun as the Moon enters Sadge later this evening. Its Friday, grab your friends, go for dinner, dancing or tap into your inner child and make tonight’s date night fun and full of laughter.. Ten pin bowling  or karaoke anyone??

Mercury Retrograde joins with Venus in Sagittarius. What a magical connection! This energy will help you to pull your thoughts, they way you communicate, ideas and  the way we think to issues of love, beauty and money. Venus is supporting us astrology by helping us get in touch with our dreams, our deepest needs and values. What makes your heart sing? What beauty or inspiration is missing from your life? This planetary aspect will help you down the right path and smooth over the pot holes along the way!

The ideas and inspiration that comes to you now may not be new ideas as such. They are most likely to be renewed ideas and inspiration. Relationships and financial situations are in the midst of transformation as well, evaluation and expansion are on the cards but it is up to us to do it! Get Moving!

Murphy’s law states that during Mercury retrograde you will run into hiccups, communication errors, technology issues, foggy thinking and problem solving. However,  if you can find the light and fix the problems that arise now, imagine how bright you will shine bright when Mercury stations direct.
