A Serious Tone to today! 28/11/17!

Mercury in Sagittarius conjunts Saturn in Sagittarius.

In the early hours of this morning, a new cycle begins between Mercury and Saturn join together as they bring your attention to conversations, effort and work. This means we are getting in a serious committal frame of mind. Both planets are in the last degrees of Sagittarius, which means we are being asked to look at very significant issues from the perspective of our highest understanding. We see Mercury turning retrograde on Sunday, and then we see this aspect between them both happen again on January 13th 2018. During this time we are being asked and been given time to contemplate the serious intent involved in regards to our lives, work and life lessons.

Saturn enters Capricorn on December 20th, 2017. This means we will be called to   stabilize our thinking, really focus and get clear on what direction you want to go in regards to your work, growth, and your greater understanding of yourself and the world.When they join together in January, they’ll be in the early degrees of Capricorn and asking that we go to a deeper place of  responsibility and integrity!

Mercury represents our rational mind, communication and our everyday expression. If you have your birth chart yo can see where Mercury sits in to have a deeper understanding of what makes you curious, and what areas of life mentally appeal and stimulate you. Mercury in your chart reveals how you get your point across and in what style. Saturn is the Master planet, that is the teacher of life lessons and karma! When these two form a conjunction it shows up in our life areas that require responsibility, contemplative, and seriousness. This aspect activates our logical minds, we will seek a higher meaning and information and wont worry our time on superficial matters. We are goal orientated and focus on realistic outcomes instead of fanciful dreams with this planetary aspect. However this aspect’s shadow side, we can be over focused and obsessed with the detail, work and the bigger picture. We become OCD and overlooking the effect we have on others in regards to our actions in reaching these goals. We get hung up on making mistakes or failing! During this period try to look at the bright side when things don’t work out and learn to laugh at your own mistakes and take some time out to laugh and enjoy life. Don’t become to over focused and obsessed on the big picture that you lose sight on why you begun it in the first place!

Mercury in Sagittarius squares retrograde Chiron in Pisces. This transit is worthy of our attention today as it will bring tension between our conscious mind and our intellect with the Wounded Healer! This early morning challenging square aspect with Mercury, the planet of communication and our thoughts to Chiron, who represents that part of us to do with deep wounds and the healing of ones self has the potential to stir up unwanted energy and mishaps.

With this aspect  in play today, your communications could hurt or on a positive note could heal. Our minds are restless, and some may be difficult to read the intentions behind what is being said, or interpreted, misunderstandings and communication breakdowns can occur, so clarity is vitally important.

Chiron has the magic ability to allow old wounds to arise and pain can get triggered in the mind, as well as our self  communication and communication with others! Watch your thoughts, your actions, your words, your intentions, beliefs and perceptions. Check to make sure you are not misunderstanding others or being misunderstood. Staying open to not knowing is actually the key, keep a clear mind and detach from outcomes is the true wisdom and understanding to getting through today! If you don’t have anything nice to say… don’t say anything at all. If you are feeling the pressure today, find a healthy outlets for emotions and feelings.

 

Just a heads up we do have  Mercury’s upcoming retrograde happening on the 2/12/17. This is also the 1st of 3 Mercury/Chiron aspects occurring over the next few months. Keep this in mind and pay attention to incoming information, repetitive situations and communications that are arising up right now, as they will be something you are meant to be healing and dealing with on this Mercury/Chiron journey with in the coming couple of months.

The Moon moves into Sagittarius.

The Moon  forms a square with Mercury retrograde in Virgo.

The Moon in Sagittarius forms a trine with Venus in Leo.

 

The Moon Moves into Sagittarius. When this transition happens you may notice and find that you and others become more adventurous, we feel more hopeful and optimistic. When the Moon is in Sagittarius we’re seeking meaning, a higher learning, how things work and why. But now it’s about the bigger issues. However we might wrestle with our tendency to over think things which could ruin the fun, adventures energy of Sagittarius.

This Moon than forms a square with Mercury retrograde in Virgo. The Moon also forms a trine with Venus in Leo. Today you will find that you are cool calm and your goals are crystal clear and as you move into this week. You have a feelings of transcendence and finally see the bigger picture,along with how you can reach those goals.

Today is a great day for a personal overview, to see where you are a in life and what direction you now want it to head. Sit down and set some goals, figure out what needs changing and where you want to see yourself in the near future.Virgo is great at organisation and planning, and when Mercury is in retrograde all the issues of that need to be tweaked will arise and what better sign than Virgo to sort through and give you structure!

Mercury retrograde in Virgo semisextiles Venus in Leo. This aspect is great  for linking the mind and heart. Find effective ways of communicating your feelings and thoughts whilst using discernment is the key!

The Moon continues its transit of Pisces all day.

 Mercury in Virgo sextile Venus in Cancer.

The Sun in Leo sextile Jupiter in Libra.

Mercury in Virgo sextile Venus in Cancer. Aligning our heart and our mind in a sweet expansive way, so if you are up early you could start the day off all mushy with sweet pillow talk, tell your loved one you appreciate them and express your love. Remember Mercury is about to go retrograde (Sigh, I know). Venus and Mercury link up twice this month so pay attention to what you think, say and hear today as there can be intimations of what is to come during mercury’s retrograde journey.

The Moon continues its transit of  dreamy, intuitive Pisces all day. A void of course Moon occurs from later this afternoon with the Moon’s last aspect in Pisces before changing into Aires not to mention a square to Saturn.

There may be a bit of a glitch when the Moon squares restrictive Saturn and you must face reality and move into the workday. The key is to find balance between asserting oneself and seeking points of compromise with others.

The Sun in Leo sextile Jupiter in Libra. What a great energy to help stimulate abundance, hopefulness and positive opportunities! It’s a day to engage with others in playful ways, be generous and gaining confidence in yourself, some will also gain a stronger sense of who you are and your principles. We can grasp the “bigger picture” which expands our perspective. The Leo/Libra vibes also support you in your  growth of love within all types of partnerships. In general this is great astrology for growth, luck, confidence and optimism!

The Moon is in Pisces.

The Moon opposes Mercury in Virgo.

Mercury in Virgo trines Venus in Cancer.

The Moon continues on her journey through mystical, Pisces.When the Moon is in this sign its much more emotional, loving, spiritual and caring. Today, do allow yourself to float unburdened and take some time and listen to your intuition and allow space for dreamy sensitivity.

The Pisces Moon opposes Mercury in Virgo. Mercury governs the way we think, and communicate and in Virgo it takes charge and is a machine. It takes in all information, it gathers it and makes sense of it. Its rational, looking at information for what it is.

Mercury trines Venus in Cancer, Venus is all about love and beauty and in cancer she is very nurturing emotional . This however can cause a problem for Mercury in Virgo. The Pisces Moon and Venus in Cancer means today our feelings will beat logic so watch out for that. Logic and reasoning will step aside for love and passion, be careful as the urge of sudden emotions and impulses can override your sensibility, so think before you stand under your partners window holding a boom box and declaring your love.

Mercury is in Taurus.

The Moon enters Aquarius.

The Sun in Taurus quincunxes retrograde Saturn in Sagittarius.

As I mentioned yesterday Mercury left hotheaded Aries behind to enter grounded, reliable Taurus. If you keep thinking that you thought Mercury had already been in Taurus , well you where right. Mercury initially entered Taurus on March 31st, 2017 but proceeded to turn retrograde back into fiery Aries where it has remained until now.

So lets recap about Mercury being in retrograde, anything that we have been sitting on or put on the back burner in Mercury retrograde that required reviewing, reconsidering, revising, and to be analyzed (which is what Mercury retrograde is great for) are now ready to be pushed forward.

Mercury is in Taurus, your thinking is slower, it has the patience so look for new inspiration, use the Taurus energy and take slow, deliberate steps to manifest your desires and dreams. Your approach to life, in general, is more relaxed unlike quick thinking and hot-headed energy of Aires your thoughts and plans can be seen from a new perspective of simplicity and clarity.

The Moon leaves serious hard-working Capricorn and moves into progressive Aquarius. Aquarius is an air sign, it’s very much about communication, the atmosphere and energy is now lighter we get a boost of enthusiasm. We are beginning to lighten up,as yesterday we were grounded with the bull energy of Taurus and very grounded. Aquarius is lighter and up in the air, full of ideas and dreaming.

The Sun in Taurus quincunxes retrograde Saturn in Sagittarius.This means for us we will become more interested in learning, in science, life and facts. Its great time for receiving high Frequency information that we want to have. We are eager to implement all this new information into your daily routine. However just be careful not to rush into all these new ideas and learning strategies straight away!!!!  There is tendency that we can be rushing into things without all the facts so just be aware especially if you are committing to anything! Just read the facts and be sure that’s what you want. This Sun/Saturn relationship reminds us to slow down and think before we speak and act. Reality Check yourself if needed.

The Sun  in Taurus.

The Sun trines Pluto in Capricorn.

Mercury and Uranus both in Aires.

The Moon enters Scorpio.

Today is one of those days a major shift happens as I mentioned yesterday. Universally it will begin to happen and fast.

The Moon moves into Scorpio this morning. Now yesterday we had the Moon in harmonious, social, chatty, relationship focused and balanced Libra, and now we see the Moon enter sassy Scorpio who thrives on uncovering mysteries. Scorpio loves delving deep into places we have hidden within our self , its  truthful, sensual and brings your emotions to a deep dive into intensity and passion.

Today we also have Mercury in Aires still coming out of its retrograde shadow period and it’s still conjunting Uranus in Aires ( if you missed out have a read of yesterdays post). It’s a total shift from Monday were we where sociable and positive, we now are very self focused and questioning” What about my feelings” “Why aren’t my needs been met” ” What about my ideas” , Why isn’t anybody listening to me!

Today be aware there is potential for frustration and burst of annoyance, in all areas of your life, work, love, friends, people who are giving you a service. Monday you seen yourself as a part of something larger working along with others and today well its all about ME, ME ME ME..

The Sun is in earthy stubborn Taurus. The Sun than forms a trine with Pluto in Capricorn. With the Sun and Pluto tangoing in the sky, it helps us align our ego with our conscious self, it also brings along the issues of power and empowerment to the dance floor. Its energy will be a spotlight shining front and center! For both the good and potentially the bad, depends on how you look at life.. is it  a lesson or a blessing. However this is a great chance for us to use this power for transformation and empowerment.

Today can be a powerful time for insights, what issues have you been struggling to come to a conclusion with? We have a lot of earth signs in the chart today, so emotional confusion will not be in the mix.  This can be a time of mental breakthroughs, creative envisioning, innovative thinking, and you may find our interest will be on the material world, our finances, career, improving our health and vitality!

Hip Hooray!!

Mercury Moves Direct!

The Moon is in Leo.

The Moon sextiles Jupiter and trines Mercury.

Today Mercury moves direct, its been retrograde now for the past several weeks and being that Mercury is the planet that represents the way we think, communicate, ,share information and all sorts. When it stations retrograde all these areas of our life get turned upside down, this also includes electrical equipment, emails, computers, cars, and especially misunderstandings and mishaps with dealing and communicating with others. Now that Mercury moves direct today all these areas will become easier! So it’s officially safe to sign that new home contract,time to begin new projects, sign that new lease, book travel plans and breathe a sigh of relief that you wont be repeating yourself and also in general we can start to move forward more easily in every area of our life.

Today we also see the Moon in Leo. The Moon than sextiles Jupiter in Libra and trines Mercury in Aires. We  see a major shift from Mercury being in retrograde and faulty to being direct and in the sign of Aires who is very forward and direct, aggressive and very excited and pushy to communicate.

Pluto stations Retrograde 20/4/17

Pluto stations retrograde in Capricorn.

Mercury Retrograde moves back into Aires.

Mercury Retrograde moves backwards into Aires today.  Some may feel the shift from earthy,grounded Taurus to fast pace, fiery Aires. With Mercury back in Aries, our communications will be more direct, assertive and we become very head strong and dynamic! However as much as being a little more assertive can be good thing we can also be aggressive, overly fire, angry and dominating too. Finding ways to breath and calm down  in times of anger so that we are communicating and thinking directly but not violently or aggressively is key to getting through today. Pay attention to the difference between assertiveness and aggression.

One of the highlights of this Mercury retrograde journey especially for me who is going through some major life changes is its triple conjunction with Uranus during the coming weeks with the 2nd interaction taking place soon. Prepare and brace yourself for shocking, all empowering, or sudden information being illuminated and coming to Light.

Pluto stations retrograde in the sign of Capricorn today, and thus making the Lord of the Underworld and planet of death and rebirth the most powerful planet in the sky! Pluto’s intense and complex energy hangs heavy in the air until September 28th, 2017 when it moves direct. Over the next few days/weeks surrounding Pluto’s station can be especially intense, and I bet you can all feel it in the air, something dark and stirring. So be aware of how you use and dominate your power, and stay clear of power/control dynamics and manipulation as we may be re-assessing how we use our power.

Empowerment Vs over powering is the theme and my caution during this time. Any conflict that you may occur now is worth examining , instead of seeing the negatives, ask yourself what the message is in these challenges you face during this phase.

The Full Moon in Libra.

Mercury and Venus in Retrograde.

As we approach the Full Moon in Libra late tonight can you feel the tension and energy building? I can tell you I sure have! The Full Moon in Libra happens very late tonight into the Early hours of tomorrow 11/4/17. As the Full Moon moves through Libra, what can you do what we can to create harmony in your environment. Full Moons traditionally are all about forcing us to look at where things in our lives need to change, your home life, your relationships, your job, your unhealthy habits, diet , stress etc.. The Libra Moon is diplomatic, equality-minded, and fair-minded so incorporate these energies into your life especially if things are a chaotic .

Yes, both Venus (who happens to be ruled by Libra) and Mercury are both retrograde. That just means for us today, keep your head down, and go with the flow. Communications can be misinterpreted during Mercury retrograde. Go home have a quiet night and focus on cleaning up aspects of your life such finances, partnerships, projects that have been left on the back burner for too long. Tie up loose ends! On the plus side there is potential to be a relatively easygoing day, even as we adjust to Mercury’s retrograde motion.
