First Quarter Moon in Scorpio.

The Aquarius Sun squares  the Scorpio Moon.

The Scorpio Moon joins with expansive Jupiter.

Today brings us to the First Quarter Lunar Phase in Scorpio. The Last Quarter Moon in Scorpio brings us to a point of activating our consciousness. Some may call it a crisis point or a “freak out” moment, in which we are being asked to work out and sort out what is working for us and what isn’t.  This can include, problems or issues in our daily routines, people, feelings, stress, home life, work life , personal life or health routine. Take some time out and go deep. Discover what inst working or what could be left behind or tweaked. We need to start preparing for next week New Moon/Solar Eclipse ( How exciting).  We need to sort out the old and make changes, so we can bring in and manifest what we want or new changes to come about at the New Moon.

A challenging square aspect is forming between the Aquarius Sun and the Scorpio Moon. If you feel pulled between two directions today, this will be the energy causing it. The ego vs our emotion will have us torn today, our job is to find a balance between our deep running emotional side (Scorpio) and our intellectually over stimulated and logic side(Aquarius). You will also need to balance how you express both these sides of yourself today!

The Scorpio Moon joins with expansive Jupiter this afternoon. This begins a cycle of growth, abundance, becoming fruitful and we have a chance of expansion. This will be done through expanding your understanding of  your emotions, passion and through deep introspection. If you have a desire to improve and grow today is your chance. Happy Monday! Today we start the week of relatively quiet and harmonizing as there are no major aspects in the sky. The Moon is in Libra today. While we are under the Libra Moon influence you are likely to have a deep need for peace and harmony in all areas of your life. The need for balance and harmony in your life extends from your personal environment to your social life. Focus is on others, relationship and your creativity. The Libra Moon than opposes Uranus in Aires! The is the first challenge to the week. Uranus in Aires is very much ” Me Me Me and I , I , I”. I want what I need and ill get what i want, its impatient, selfish and not interested in smoothing out bumps in the road like Libra. These two will be in direct conflict together causing tension and friction between our wants and needs and putting others first. Conflict may come about between you and others. However, if you can see it that from a positive view, that this conflict can bring about much-needed change and try not to resist and retreat you may be surprised in the outcome. The key to today is.. Dont retreat, change does not happen when we are playing it safe, change comes about when our feathers are ruffled and forces us to evolve and grow. On January 31st, a Blue Blood Moon will be happening in the sign of Leo.This month we see our second Full Moon in the sign of Leo. This inst just any old Full Moon, it is a Blue Moon and a Blood Moon. Blue Moon is a name given to the second Full Moon of the month. This second Full Moon we see in the month of January is really rare, as you may have heard the saying before” Once in a blue Moon”. It’s also a Super Moon and will be very exceptional. Super Moon’s are closer to the earth and thus appear 14 per cent larger in our sky and 30 percent brighter than usual. Because of the Moon’s closeness to earth, the impact of the Full Moon energies will be stronger and a lot more powerful than normal. This includes the oceans tide so watch out for the big surf coming your way!

Typically there are only three Full Moons in every season, one each month. However, once in a “Blue Moon” happens every couple of years or so, that means we get a bonus Full Moon! This Blood Blue Moon will also be a total Lunar eclipse just to add more excitement to the mix. Blood Moon is a term used to describe a total Lunar eclipse. This eclipse is the first of three Blood Moon’s that will  occur between 2018-2019.

The last time we seen all three of these events occur in the sky (Lunar eclipse, Supermoon and Blue Moon) was in March, 1866. The term “Blue Moon”  is paved with mystery folklore and magic. The name ” Blue Moon’ with its mystery and beauty has even been written about in Shakespeare plays over 400 years ago.

Full Moons astrological are when the Sun and the Moon are both opposing one and other at 180 degrees. The Sun is shining all of its light to illuminate the Moon, and signifies to us that it this is a huge shift of perspective. It’s about completion of a cycle and its about being illuminated and reaching a completion point and shedding old energy.

This Full Moon being in the fire sign of  Leo, means that this month we are being showered with Leo energy. Leo is about being a leader, being creative, having confidence,pursing our dreams, self-expression and overcoming difficulties in a positive light-hearted way. The effects of this lunar eclipse due to the interruption of the Suns energy, will be felt for up to 6 months.

This Blue Moon in Leo has been considered as very fortunate and lucky, it truly is something to be celebrated. The Sun entered Capricorn today. the Sun’s forms an alignment with Saturn (also in Capricorn). It is asking us to get serious. Saturn is the planet of lessons and hard work so if things get tough just allow stress to roll off your back.

Now that the Sun is in Capricorn, it marks for us down under (the southern hemisphere) the summer solstice/litha and the winter solstice and yule in the northern hemisphere.

Capricorn’s are the type that keep their  feet-on-the-ground. They are focused, especially when reaching a work stats and goal.  This month, expect to keep your eye-on-the-prize. With Sun in Capricorn we become more realistic, this earth grounded signs approach to life is by working hard and playing hard. The Capricorn Sun energy will give us ideas on how to do things, and how to get things done. This month use the Capricorn energy to make something and your self worthwhile.

When the Sun is in Capricorn, our attention and focus is on hard work. We start to become authoritative and more disciplined and responsible. The New Moon Phase today and Saturn moves into Capricorn.

Today is going to be a powerful day! both exciting and serious. We are still in the New Moon phase today and an exciting shift occurs as the planet Saturn moves into Capricorn. This is one of those weeks which just stands out  in terms of  major astrology action taking place. Exciting!

We are still in the New Moon phase today and an exciting shift occurs as the planet Saturn moves into Capricorn. FYI – Saturn takes about 28-29 years to come full circle so most will experience this at least three times in their life. This means if you where just in a Saturn Sagittarius transit (Me including) you have every reason to let out a sigh and a big loud whoop of relief. Yay I survived Saturn!

Late Tuesday night we seen Saturn leave Sagittarius behind to enter Capricorn. Saturn, astrologically speaking is the most authoritative voice in the solar system. The Master planet of karmic lessons. Saturn has been in Sagittarius since December 2014. Saturn enters Capricorn today, which it will remain until March 2020.

Saturn in Capricorn is cautious and ambitious. It teaches us through responsibilities, authority, working hard, limitations, solitude and life lessons. Saturn in Capricorn makes each individual to look very carefully at our responsibilities, at our actions, at our choices and integrity. There may be uncomfortable lessons and moments we may face!  The Moon is  in Aries before it transit Taurus.

Mars opposes Uranus.

With the Moon still  in Aries this morning, you may find yourself energetic and quick to act with courage or force. You may notice a desire to take risks, or a feeling of being more egotistical that normally would not appeal to you. Later this afternoon the Moon enters grounded Taurus. Bringing a steadfast calm and grounded energy to our personal and emotional environment. The Moon feels at home in Taurus and so will we, getting all cosy with the added bonus of indulging in the finer things in life sch as comfort food, wine and cheese and relaxing. However, we can have the tendencies to over indulge so if your watching your weight for Christmas and New Years don’t give too much into temptation today!

Early this morning, the Moon makes aspects to both dynamic Mars and eccentric unexpected Uranus. You tend to be focused on yourself and may be impatient with others and easily angered. We also may find our selves getting easily agitated and quite tense. Tempers could flare up today and we can act very impulsive and reckless. It’s a great day to take care with your actions and words. Even if you feel restricted or get confronted by others and their words today, center yourself and find balance there is not point throwing oil onto a fire. at 12:26am mars in libra quincunxes retrograde chiron in pisces- creating tension and friction between the will, warrior and drive and the Wounded Healer planetoid. mars/chiron brings up deep old wounds and pain around our masculine sides or around men in our lives. any issues around anger, aggression, taking action, taking a stand, saying no or setting boundaries can arise for us to face today. both libra and pisces are signs that tend to over focus on others at the expense of the self. not losing the self in others and being able to set and maintain boundaries is key for personal health as well as the health of any relationships we may be in. it’s a great day to be in therapy or getting body work. any healing modalities utilized today can assist you in getting into your core wound- not so you can stay stuck there but so that you can truly feel ALL if it and release the Unconscious hold it has on you.

Early today, it can be difficult to assert ourselves effectively without provoking, annoying, or concerning others. The trick is to combine both sensitivity and directness instead of going for either/or. The Moon continues its transit of independent, competitive Aries until 3:39 PM EST, after which its transit of Taurus may help settle us down. However, we’re building to a Mars-Uranus opposition, exact tomorrow morning, that’s potentially quite tense and can stimulate impatience. Mercury in Sagittarius squares retrograde Chiron in Pisces. This transit is worthy of our attention today as it will bring tension between our conscious mind and our intellect with the Wounded Healer! This early morning challenging square aspect with Mercury, the planet of communication and our thoughts to Chiron, who represents that part of us to do with deep wounds and the healing of ones self has the potential to stir up unwanted energy and mishaps.

With this aspect  in play today, your communications could hurt or on a positive note could heal. Our minds are restless, and some may be difficult to read the intentions behind what is being said, or interpreted, misunderstandings and communication breakdowns can occur, so clarity is vitally important.

Chiron has the magic ability to allow old wounds to arise and pain can get triggered in the mind, as well as our self  communication and communication with others! Watch your thoughts, your actions, your words, your intentions, beliefs and perceptions. Check to make sure you are not misunderstanding others or being misunderstood. The New Moon in Scorpio.

What a profoundly intense Scorpio New Moon that occurred exact at 6:43 AM EST on 18/11/17.. New Moons represent a new Lunar cycle and the end of one 28 day lunar cycle. A New Moon occurs when the Sun and the Moon are at the same 180 degree of the same sign of the zodiac. This month the New Moon is sitting in the highly emotional fixed water sign of Scorpio, and thus the Sun and Moon are recharging and absorbing in its energy. Traditionally the New Moon is the best time to begin something new, to plant seeds of intention, to make a fresh start, and begin a new plan or project. It’s about manifesting our desires!!!

As you prepare this new beginning at the New Moon, it is a perfect time to release whatever you must in order to make room for deep new personal growth. It is a time to purge, release and let go and make way for wonderful new things to enter your life. It a time to really honor yourself and the journey you have been on this year! As I mentioned, this New Moon in Scorpio is all about ridding yourself of emotional baggage and any old grudges!!! We may want to pinpoint the things in our lives that make us feel out of control, such as addictions, debts, and work on freeing ourselves of these emotional burdens. These lower frequencies and energies are destructive, toxic and plain old nasty! Scorpio energy helps teach us to face up to them for what they are, at face value, to heal and grow. These are just a few things you can incorporate into your New Moon intentions this month.

This month we will find the energy that we need to find inner strength and  to face our Shadows and secrets. We will learn to grow and develop, especially so if you know what house in your birth chart holds 26° Scorpio! This month shine light on the darkness! Find balance between shadow and Light and glow!

The Sun in Scorpio sextiles Pluto in Capricorn.

The Moon enters Leo.

The Moon leaves emotional, intuitive Cancer behind and enters exuberant, playful Leo. This will shift  from experiencing emotional and sensitive as well as self work of  looking inwards to being more open, center of attention and excitable.  Its time to become center stage, if you need a boost of courage and an ego stoke today is a great day to channel the Leo energy. A Leo Moon Day is a great place to start if you need to do something and lack the confidence. Today is your best chance to put your best foot forward and show the world how amazing and serious you can be as well as fun and innovative! The Leo Moon is also very creative and artistic. It’s a day to show the world ‘what you’ve got’. However, Leo tends to take all the spot lights on the stage, so don’t let your brightness over shine everyone! Give everyone a fair chance and don’t come off to egotistical.

Another early morning event will occur when the passionate Scorpio Sun forms a sextile aspect to transformative, catalytic Pluto. The cycle of empowerment or destruction between Pluto and the Sun  began on January 7, 2017.

We should at this time start preparing and beginning a plan for 2018! This new cycle will bring about a time of  releasement of the past, what has gone wrong or not working out this year for you? I can say my Ups equally measure my downs this year, and I know they are creating some tension and fear, i am forgetting all that I have achieved this year. Scorpio is ruled by Pluto so it’s a double whammy and great at unlocking those buried confronting powers to make us hold onto fears, doubts and insecurities locked up! The effort you put in today at self realisation and the acknowledgment of your own faults, flaws, insecurities or less favored emotions and traits the more you will be rewarded, you are fully supported by the universe!
