Blue Blood Moon in Leo 31/01/2018

On January 31st, a Blue Blood Moon will be happening in the sign of Leo.This month we see our second Full Moon in the sign of Leo. This inst just any old Full Moon, it is a Blue Moon and a Blood Moon. Blue Moon is a name given to the second Full Moon of the month. This second Full Moon we see in the month of January is really rare, as you may have heard the saying before” Once in a blue Moon”. It’s also a Super Moon and will be very exceptional. Super Moon’s are closer to the earth and thus appear 14 per cent larger in our sky and 30 percent brighter than usual. Because of the Moon’s closeness to earth, the impact of the Full Moon energies will be stronger and a lot more powerful than normal. This includes the oceans tide so watch out for the big surf coming your way!

Typically there are only three Full Moons in every season, one each month. However, once in a “Blue Moon” happens every couple of years or so, that means we get a bonus Full Moon! This Blood Blue Moon will also be a total Lunar eclipse just to add more excitement to the mix. Blood Moon is a term used to describe a total Lunar eclipse. This eclipse is the first of three Blood Moon’s that will  occur between 2018-2019.

The last time we seen all three of these events occur in the sky (Lunar eclipse, Supermoon and Blue Moon) was in March, 1866. The term “Blue Moon”  is paved with mystery folklore and magic. The name ” Blue Moon’ with its mystery and beauty has even been written about in Shakespeare plays over 400 years ago.

Full Moons astrological are when the Sun and the Moon are both opposing one and other at 180 degrees. The Sun is shining all of its light to illuminate the Moon, and signifies to us that it this is a huge shift of perspective. It’s about completion of a cycle and its about being illuminated and reaching a completion point and shedding old energy.

This Full Moon being in the fire sign of  Leo, means that this month we are being showered with Leo energy. Leo is about being a leader, being creative, having confidence,pursing our dreams, self-expression and overcoming difficulties in a positive light-hearted way. We are playful, and enjoy forming connections to children and our inner child and simply wanting to have fun. Leo energy is one of self creative expression. It’s great for those who need an ego boost on individual or social level, and Leo makes this happen through pleasure, playfulness and romance. This Full Moon in Leo is really going to push us and urge us to find balance and harmony between romance and friendships, between expressing ourselves in a more personal  ways and to start feeling proud and confident in one self!

This Blue Moon in Leo is sitting at 11 degrees. 11 in numerology is the master number of service, it vibrates at a higher spiritual learning and enlightenment. The focus is to apply your energy, this passionate fiery Leo energy to being of service to others. How can you creativity benefit others, how can you use your connections to help… This Full Moon ask yourself.. “How can I be of service to others” How can my skills or talents help others”. The more you can give, whether its making someone laugh or using your mind to make a positive change to someones life. This Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse in Leo means its opposing sign is Aquarius energy.  Today, look at the opposing houses that are ruled by Leo and Aquarius in your personal chart. specifically, look at where  11-12 degrees of Leo and/or Aquarius in your own natal chart. This can be a great indication where you are currently seeking this balance especially in regards to personal issues.

Today’s Full Moon Lunar Eclipse is aligned with an opposition to Venus. This will cause friction and tension between the planet that resonates to the feminine principle, beauty and love and the Moon, which rules over our emotional intelligence. Venus represents that part of us connected to feminine ideals of beauty, resources such as money/finances, relationships and the ability to form loving partnerships. The Moon rules over our emotions and feelings, it represents our inner security, our emotional nature, and our deepest desires and needs.

As the Moon is in Leo, we are passionate, playful, inspired, fun seeking and we have an excitable approach to life. This eclipse in Leo, is really going to push our emotions to the surface. Expect to feel the pressure as we are being pushed to look more closely at our needs, lacks, and wants. Find the old worn out and dated emotions, ways of doing things and processes. De stress your life, banish any issues along with anything else that needs to be released this Full Moon as we have a chance to really declutter our life and make progress through this important time of change! Eclipses are tied to changing circumstances, letting go and endings. We must make room for the new by clearing out the old. This months Lunar Eclipse will be happening in the north node and will be pulling energy in from there. The effects of this lunar eclipse due to the interruption of the Suns energy, will be felt for up to 6 months.

This Blue Moon in Leo has been considered as very fortunate and lucky, it truly is something to be celebrated. It’s a time to review and rewrite if needed your long-term goal and plans for the future.Seeing that this magic  Blue Moon is occurring at the beginning of the year marks a year of tremendous positive growth in your personal life. The next few days we are given a opportunity and an open a doorway into our future, don’t waste it.

The Moon is in Taurus.

Mercury in Capricorn sextiles Jupiter in Scorpio.

This morning begins with a lovely sextile aspect forming between Mercury who rules over our mental realm and communication and expansive, abundant Jupiter. Today is going to be a positive day especially in regards too finding out some great news to do with money, work, finding out you got that home you applied for, or you got a big promotion as well as you may finally enroll in that course you have been putting off to do to further your work and education skills. Overall it’s a great day.

Today, we are able to see a lot more of the Bigger Picture, in regards to the both shadow and Light sides of life and situations we face right now. We are able to see the advantages and the growth that is possible from embracing all sides! Opportunities to teach, learn, expand and travel are very possible at the moment so embrace every opportunity that comes your way! Create more and less stress.

The Moon continues its transit through grounded, dependable and sensual Taurus. Whenever the Moon is in Taurus, who is ruled by Venus it is a great time to seek the pleasures of love and beauty all around you. Go on a romantic dinner or cook for your loved one. First quarter Moon moves in Taurus.

The Taurus Moon trines Saturn in Capricorn and squares Venus and the Sun  in Aquarius.

We see the first quarter Moon moving into Taurus. The Moon in Taurus is making us get into the real world, its pushing us to become more serious and lay practical foundations that will see you through the long-term. Taurus energy is grounded, placid and earthy. Its rigid and it all about security. Its pushes us to seek comfort and security in our world. However, the Moon and Taurus go hand in hand, and the both connect on a food level, and love to over indulge in the finer things in life such as naughty treats, alcohol and everything you know you love but should only have in moderation! When the Moon is in Taurus we also tend to become a tad lazy, loving to lounge around which is great if you have the option. If not treat yourself to a massage, take yourself to the movies or a late lunch with friends as Taurus motto is ” Why Rush”  and has an easygoing and laid back feel to the day.

The Taurus Moon than forms a trine to Saturn in Capricorn (More earth energy) and squares Venus and the Sun in Aquarius ( Air energy). We have a good balance of energies going on today. This Aires Moon forms a harmonious connection with the Sun and Venus in Aquarius.

Happy Monday! This week we can expect a real mix up daily of the energies.

The Crescent Moon moves into Aires. We shift from dreamy and illusion to action orientated and serious. What a great way to start the week off as we see the Moon moving through the first sign of the zodiac and we are at the beginning of a new lunar cycle. Seeing that the Moon moves every day or so this week into the first three signs of the zodiac (Aires, Taurus and Gemini).  The energy is all tied in together, in regards to us, our energy and our intentions moving forward and especially in regards to starting projects, goals and plans a fresh. The first three houses are associated with progression. The first house is related to our self and our coming into the world. The second house is about coming to terms with the real world and the third house is about communication and making what is yours.. well yours!!! By putting as personal stamp onto everything you do.

 Capricorn New Moon!

The New Moon occurs in the cardinal earth sign of Capricorns at 26 degrees. This is exciting as this New Moon is commencing a new lunar cycle. This First New Moon and lunar cycle of the year will focus on the constructive traits of grounded Capricorn. It’s a time for us to focus on Capricorn’s positive traits such as being goal orientated, practicality, reliable, disciplined, to focus on our work and career and the foundations and structures in our daily lives.

This Capricorn New Moon occurs tonight at 9:18 PM EST. New Moons are occur when  the Sun and Moon join together, blending their energies. Causing the Moon to be in compete darkness as it joins the Sun and recharges its batteries,as one would say for the next lunar cycle.. This New Moon will be at  27° Capricorn. New Moon traditionally are a time for planting seeds of intention, to manifest your dreams, ambitions, goals and projects. It’s also a time to be looking at the future and setting goals. It’s a time to go inward as we the skies are pitch black, it’s about taking an inventory and taking charge of your life. Figuring out what needs tweaking or what you want to achieve in the future. It’s truly a time to set aside a moment or two, to reflect and have a serious contemplation on your life, that will hopefully bring you to an understanding of what focus of growth you want to begin in the upcoming lunar phase and most importantly how you go about reaching these goals.

One of Capricorn’s “lessons” is that we should take on board is acceptance, responsibility, boundaries and that setting goals for ourselves can allow us to focus on what really matters, that rules can actually offer us freedom by eliminating worry and fear.

A new beginning is upon those who choose to make room for change. This New Moon is about becoming more practical and making long-term commitments, goals and change. This New Moon aligns with lovely Venus. Than forms a square to Uranus, and sextiles Mars. If there wasn’t a better time for us to realize that we need to break away from old, outdated patterns of thinking and doing so that we can move forward authentically and for our highest best good. Because Venus is involved (like she is in all 3 lunations this month with the Full Moon we had on the 1st, New Moon today and Full Moon Eclipse on 31st). Love, money and relationships (Love, Business and financial partnerships) will be a major  focus for us, especially in regards to transformation and positive change. Venus will also advocate that diplomacy and kindness is the way to move forward with our goals and desires. However Uranus in Aries may not appreciate this softness and feels less comfortable with this idea as it squares the New Moon. This means some of us may tend to lean towards being impulsive and restlessness whilst others are overly focused on security and safety. This New Moon, we may need to master and push past whatever is our particular blockage, whatever makes us feel vulnerable, to gain an edge on our own growth. With wild, unpredictable Uranus in the mix, you may find yourself wanting to move forward but feeling held back by some restrictive outside or inner force. Not to fear, Mars will assist you in finding the will and drive to push through these hurdles and to take action!

111 Master Number… What does this Number symbolize?

Do you ever see the same repeated numbers everywhere you look? Lately whether it is on my clock, the bus route, on a receipt, my heart rate on my fit bit today and most other days 111 BPM , I keep seeing 111. Even the date today is 11/1/18,  hence why I thought it great day to write a little blurb about the number 111! These numbers aren’t coincidences, they are messages from the universe inviting us to be an example of positive change, especially for people who are known as light workers.

Lets start from the beginning. In numerology, numbers hold a certain vibration and a certain power behind them, some more than others. 111, well this number carries the combined attributes and energies of the number 1 and the master number 11. Oh La La! 111 is one of the most powerful numbers in numerology, as each number is not as special as others, and this crazy cool combination has special powers, including manifestation and magic.

OK let me give you a quick run down of each number..

NUMBER 1.

The number 1 in numerology or if your birth number is 1 (Mine is) is known for being unique, independent and very assertive. The number 1 also resonates with qualities of new beginnings, moving forward, motivation, inspiration and most importantly self-leadership. Number 1 is a very positive number.

The Scorpio Moon forms a flowing trine aspect to  Neptune.

The Moon is in Scorpio again today, and it asks us to delve emotionally deep into our self and our connection to others. Today, don’t be surprised if you find yourself inclined to search for hidden layers of situations and by others around you. As we can attempt to understand on a deeper level, we are also fascinated by what drives others, we are also drawn to experiences that evoke these curiosities, all that is secret and taboo.

Mercury moves into Capricorn today where it will remain until January 31st. Mercury rules over the element of communication, our thought structure, travel, official documentation and technology. Mercury in Capricorn is all about producing information, not as much as absorbing it! The mood and the way we think is serous, much along the lines of is this practical? Is this worth the time? Is this beneficial? Do you have the time and money to commit? We see an exact Conjunction between the Sun in Capricorn, Venus in Capricorn and Pluto in Capricorn.

The significant conjunction between the Sun, Venus, and Pluto all in Capricorn in the early hours this morning. So the Sun, Pluto and Venus are lending each other its energy. Venus in Capricorn loves to take practical action! It loves to put plans into action, it’s very action orientated. Venus is all about being spontaneous and let’s make it work, let’s make magic happen. This Sun/Venus conjunction brings a powerful development to our self,  how we love and with Pluto in the mix how we transform and heal. These conjunctions will bring about turning points for most of us and ‘Aha’ moments, especially in any of your important relationships, including your relationship with your self and others, in your business, work and projects. Many of our attitudes today will be along the lines of… if you really love something or someone, if you really enjoy doing something, if you really care about it and if you have the strength to make a change, than you REALLY can make BIG changes happen. Simply by just loving something enough will drive you to succeed and grow right now. This conjunction can also be amazing for deep transformation regarding money and your finances.

As I mentioned the Sun in Capricorn conjunct Pluto in Capricorn as well. The Sun being what represents our identity, is now hand in hand with the planet of transformation and healing. Today you fill find that your identity is transforming. Everything is debatable, the energy is all up in the air! You will find yourself asking .. Do I really love where I work, where I live, what I do, what I represent, how I feel in regards to certain topics, issue, your diet etc..

The Moon lingers in harmonious, diplomatic Libra most of the day until mid day. The Moon than moves into Scorpio this afternoon. The Moon is now shifting the energy from balance and light-hearted to emotionally intense and secretive. The Moon in Scorpio is really intuitive, you become emotionally intelligent, it makes it easier for you to understand what others are going through and vice versa. The Scorpio Moon  makes it easier for us to understand others hidden agendas and emotions. Such as why am I really being yelled at to do the dishes? It’s not really about the dishes , it’s really about how the other person is feeling or lack of.. Understand what im saying gang? Luckily for us we are emotionally cleaver when it comes to others today.

The Moon is in Leo.

The Leo Moon forms a square with Mars and Jupiter.

The Leo Moon squares Mars in Scorpio. Mars being the ultimate archetype of a male and drive, and Leo being the mighty Lion, roaring with pride. This will be a powerful dominating energy felt by us today. The Leo Moon also square Jupiter the good luck planet in Scorpio. Jupiter in Scorpio has caused a lot of things to be unearthed since it entered Scorpio in October. Things that have been hidden, buried or secret are now and until next year going to be unearthed ready for transformation, the news is a great example of things coming to the surface. Have you noticed issues in your relationships , friendships or at work place, that you have always tended to push down because you don’t want to cause a problem or creative tension, have come up and out for the better???? I Certainty have, even though the conversation may be uncomfortable to begin with its resulted in positive outcomes. It’s a Transformation passionate energy.

Today’s powerful energy is all about drive, good luck, and your inner passion and fire illuminating!! You will find you are less tolerable of people crap and people walking all over you. Mars and Jupiter are heading towards an alignment around the 6th January, if you haven’t felt the excitement building you soon will.  a
