 Capricorn New Moon!

The New Moon occurs in the cardinal earth sign of Capricorns at 26 degrees. This is exciting as this New Moon is commencing a new lunar cycle. This First New Moon and lunar cycle of the year will focus on the constructive traits of grounded Capricorn. It’s a time for us to focus on Capricorn’s positive traits such as being goal orientated, practicality, reliable, disciplined, to focus on our work and career and the foundations and structures in our daily lives.

This Capricorn New Moon occurs tonight at 9:18 PM EST. New Moons are occur when  the Sun and Moon join together, blending their energies. Causing the Moon to be in compete darkness as it joins the Sun and recharges its batteries,as one would say for the next lunar cycle.. This New Moon will be at  27° Capricorn. New Moon traditionally are a time for planting seeds of intention, to manifest your dreams, ambitions, goals and projects. It’s also a time to be looking at the future and setting goals. It’s a time to go inward as we the skies are pitch black, it’s about taking an inventory and taking charge of your life. Figuring out what needs tweaking or what you want to achieve in the future. It’s truly a time to set aside a moment or two, to reflect and have a serious contemplation on your life, that will hopefully bring you to an understanding of what focus of growth you want to begin in the upcoming lunar phase and most importantly how you go about reaching these goals.

Capricorn being at 26 degrees, in numerology breaks down to eight. Two plus six equals eight. Eight in numerology is about power in its self, it’s about leadership, business, construction, building and finding a balance. Eight is a Karmic number… You shall reap what you’ve sewn. The eight balances the material and immaterial worlds.  This means this is going to be a very powerful and strong New Moon, that will really give us a push to make positive change.

The New Moon that is happening in the earth sign of Capricorn, the sign of the head strong goat, resistant to external change, to stressful situations and circumstances that would bring others to their knees. Capricorn is associated with those born in January, it’s a time to work hard, making do with what you have. It’s a New Year and a time for all to start fresh.  It’s a time to get back to work and get serious.

One of  Capricorn many talents is that they can get back into the swing of things easily, Capricorn’s are great at focusing on getting back to work, to school and into routine with ease. Capricorn’s are calm, reliable and safe. Capricorn’s are all about doing the right thing, training yourself to deal with hardships and difficulties as they come, it’s about training yourself to do the right thing, to live by the rules, to just get on with things without complaining. Capricorn’s are wonderful at being  grateful along with having  gratitude for what they have. Capricorn’s energy is about applying yourself, using resources and education to get ahead. The energy is also very grounded, reasonable and very practical. Capricorn is not one to complain and defiantly do not tolerate those who feel they have a sense of entitlement. It’s all is far in Love and War!

On the shadow side of Capricorn is, it can be frustrating with there over dedication to stoicism. No self-pity for earthy Capricorn which sometimes is a downfall as being to emotional cut off and over dedicated can be very harsh and cold. It’s about finding the balance and taking on the positive qualities of this sign to set achievable goals this month and for the year ahead.

One of Capricorn’s “lessons” is that we should take on board is acceptance, responsibility, boundaries and that setting goals for ourselves can allow us to focus on what really matters, that rules can actually offer us freedom by eliminating worry and fear.

This New Moon is about releasing worn-out beliefs in mind. Releasing what must happen before you can move ahead. Making room for the new. A new beginning is upon those who choose to make room for change. This New Moon is about becoming more practical and making long-term commitments, goals and change. We have the chance to create some serious order in our lives. The Capricorn energy forces us to recognize our responsibilities, and realistically nurture our dreams and ambitions.

This New Moon aligns with lovely Venus. Than forms a square to Uranus, and sextiles Mars. If there wasn’t a better time for us to realize that we need to break away from old, outdated patterns of thinking and doing so that we can move forward authentically and for our highest best good. Because Venus is involved (like she is in all 3 lunations this month with the Full Moon we had on the 1st, New Moon today and Full Moon Eclipse on 31st). Love, money and relationships (Love, Business and financial partnerships) will be a major  focus for us, especially in regards to transformation and positive change. Venus will also advocate that diplomacy and kindness is the way to move forward with our goals and desires. However Uranus in Aries may not appreciate this softness and feels less comfortable with this idea as it squares the New Moon. This means some of us may tend to lean towards being impulsive and restlessness whilst others are overly focused on security and safety. This New Moon, we may need to master and push past whatever is our particular blockage, whatever makes us feel vulnerable, to gain an edge on our own growth. With wild, unpredictable Uranus in the mix, you may find yourself wanting to move forward but feeling held back by some restrictive outside or inner force. Not to fear, Mars will assist you in finding the will and drive to push through these hurdles and to take action!

111 Master Number… What does this Number symbolize?

Do you ever see the same repeated numbers everywhere you look? Lately whether it is on my clock, the bus route, on a receipt, my heart rate on my fit bit today and most other days 111 BPM , I keep seeing 111. Even the date today is 11/1/18,  hence why I thought it great day to write a little blurb about the number 111! These numbers aren’t coincidences, they are messages from the universe inviting us to be an example of positive change, especially for people who are known as light workers.

Lets start from the beginning. In numerology, numbers hold a certain vibration and a certain power behind them, some more than others. 111, well this number carries the combined attributes and energies of the number 1 and the master number 11. Oh La La! 111 is one of the most powerful numbers in numerology, as each number is not as special as others, and this crazy cool combination has special powers, including manifestation and magic.

OK let me give you a quick run down of each number..

NUMBER 1.

The number 1 in numerology or if your birth number is 1 (Mine is) is known for being unique, independent and very assertive. The number 1 also resonates with qualities of new beginnings, moving forward, motivation, inspiration and most importantly self-leadership. Number 1 is a very positive number.

NUMBER 11.
The number 11 in numerology, is hands down one of the most powerful karmic master numbers there is. Mercury moves into Capricorn

The Scorpio Moon forms a flowing trine aspect to  Neptune.

The Moon is in Scorpio again today, and it asks us to delve emotionally deep into our self and our connection to others. Today, don’t be surprised if you find yourself inclined to search for hidden layers of situations and by others around you. As we can attempt to understand on a deeper level, we are also fascinated by what drives others, we are also drawn to experiences that evoke these curiosities, all that is secret and taboo.

Mercury moves into Capricorn today where it will remain until January 31st. Mercury rules over the element of communication, our thought structure, travel, official documentation and technology. Mercury in Capricorn is all about producing information, not as much as absorbing it! The mood and the way we think is serous, much along the lines of is this practical? Is this worth the time? Is this beneficial? Do you have the time and money to commit? Communication and the way we think will become very serious, Capricorn cuts out the wishy-washy and gets down to business. Mercury in Capricorn is great for being focused, grounded, overly cautious, traditional, rigid in our thinking and practical. The Moon is in Leo.

The Leo Moon forms a square with Mars and Jupiter.

The Leo Moon squares Mars in Scorpio. Mars being the ultimate archetype of a male and drive, and Leo being the mighty Lion, roaring with pride. This will be a powerful dominating energy felt by us today. The Leo Moon also square Jupiter the good luck planet in Scorpio. Jupiter in Scorpio has caused a lot of things to be unearthed since it entered Scorpio in October. Things that have been hidden, buried or secret are now and until next year going to be unearthed ready for transformation, the news is a great example of things coming to the surface. Have you noticed issues in your relationships , friendships or at work place, that you have always tended to push down because you don’t want to cause a problem or creative tension, have come up and out for the better???? I Certainty have, even though the conversation may be uncomfortable to begin with its resulted in positive outcomes. It’s a Transformation passionate energy.

Happy Tuesday everyone! As we see the Capricorn Sun inch closer to powerful  transformational Pluto, we could start to feel the intensity of the year ahead. Today at some stage compassion and tolerance may not come easy with the Full Moon opposing Saturn, Venus and the Sun. The serious Capricorn Sun forms a sweet sextile aspect to Neptune early in the day. The Sun in Capricorn sextiles Neptune in Pisces. This aligns our conscious self and ego with the planet of dreams, mysticism and spirituality.  This Sun/Neptune alignment is going to leave us feeling dreamy, romantic mystical and all loved up! This will also allow the possibility of making contact with a mystical or imaginative side of yourself. Over the past several months of Uranus retrograde, we have been faced and been experiencing a force within us to make change and self revolution within. However now that Uranus is stationing direct we can expect and experience some big shifts in our inner and outer world. This week watch out for sudden impulsive energy, we must remember that what is above is the same below and although yes we want change and to be free, our needs to be balanced, we need to find stability we need to ground our self. The moon is in Taurus.

The Moon in grounded Taurus and it brings to us a stable, earthy energy to the day. Today some of you are inclined to stick with what we know, Taurus hates change and love to keep the status quo, along with keeping things simple. Taurus is ruled by romantic Venus and this allows us to connect you fully to your physical body, find the things you love about your self and appreciate them , feel sensual today. The Moon in Taurus means it’s a great day to rest, pamper yourself. Get a massage, enjoy the naughty things in life-like a good meal,take a bath, or make love. buying something pretty that make you happy or indulge in comfort food as this self-love helps stabilize emotions by us connecting with the body.

Some handy affirmations when we have Taurus energy around is ‘Thank you, Universe/ god/angels etc – I am safe, wise, happy,  I am worthy and all my needs are provided for! Another good one is , I attract all the abundance and wealth I need and i am financially stable.

Another great idea is to head out into nature, go for a bush walk, a beach walk a lake walk. Simple putting your bare feet on the ground helps ground  us and our energy.

The New Moon Phase today and Saturn moves into Capricorn.

Today is going to be a powerful day! both exciting and serious. We are still in the New Moon phase today and an exciting shift occurs as the planet Saturn moves into Capricorn. This is one of those weeks which just stands out  in terms of  major astrology action taking place. Exciting!

We are still in the New Moon phase today and an exciting shift occurs as the planet Saturn moves into Capricorn. FYI – Saturn takes about 28-29 years to come full circle so most will experience this at least three times in their life. This means if you where just in a Saturn Sagittarius transit (Me including) you have every reason to let out a sigh and a big loud whoop of relief. Yay I survived Saturn!

Late Tuesday night we seen Saturn leave Sagittarius behind to enter Capricorn. Saturn, astrologically speaking is the most authoritative voice in the solar system. The Master planet of karmic lessons. Saturn has been in Sagittarius since December 2014. Saturn enters Capricorn today, which it will remain until March 2020.

Saturn in Capricorn is cautious and ambitious. It teaches us through responsibilities, authority, working hard, limitations, solitude and life lessons. Saturn in Capricorn makes each individual to look very carefully at our responsibilities, at our actions, at our choices and integrity. There may be uncomfortable lessons and moments we may face! However keep in mind, as you face them and work through the issues, you will develop the gift of maturity, work ethics and self-respect. 

The Moon is in responsible, intelligent Capricorn and with the Moon in this practical sign, we are about facts, logic and hard work. Irrational emotions don’t fly with this sign as they believe what you put in is what you get back. The Capricorn Moon looks for ways to make you feel more secure and in control.

On a positive note… Every planet has a ruling home sign. Saturn  rules over Capricorn and is the ancient ruler of Aquarius. Saturn now moving back home in Capricorn, it is especially happy to be there. Retrograde Mercury cojoins Venus in Sagittarius.

The Moon is in Scorpio, until it enters Sagittarius tonight.

The Moon stays in Scorpio most of the day until enters Sagittarius later tonight. If you are in the mood, the energy will get lighter and more adventurous and fun as the Moon enters Sadge later this evening. Its Friday, grab your friends, go for dinner, dancing or tap into your inner child and make tonight’s date night fun and full of laughter.. Ten pin bowling  or karaoke anyone??

Mercury Retrograde joins with Venus in Sagittarius. What a magical connection! However,  if you can find the light and fix the problems that arise now, imagine how bright you will shine bright when Mercury stations direct.

Retrograde Mercury in Sagittarius semisextiles Pluto in Capricorn.

The Moon is in deeply, private intense Scorpio today. This Scorpio Moon than forms personal relationships to Mercury , Jupiter and Neptune today. Today will be a mixed bag of expansion, healing and dreamy emotions.

The Scorpio Moon gives us a great urge to dive deep into any mystery that has pulled at your sleeve as of late. We are less interested in superficial conversations or connections with others and prefer one on one deep interactions and exchanges today.
