The Moon is in Virgo.

The Virgo Moon makes is an opposition to Neptune.

Today astrologically speaking its a nice day and very low-key in regards to the energy around. The one aspect that may affect people today is the Virgo Moon making an opposition to Neptune. Causing some tension and bringing some challenges to your ability to find clarity in the details. Some will find it hard it to concentrate, finding that their mind wanders off and day-dream throughout this morning.

The Moon is still in Virgo, and its asking us to find a steady pace of activities that focus on the finer detail, we enjoy doing this with careful efficiency and even nitpicking at detail. Virgo’s are practical, and great at coming up with solutions, however just be careful at becoming over critical and judgmental. Just stick to whats in front of you from a structured and helpful point of view. Perception, and having a positive, detailed view-point on your organisational skills and work life will be in focus today. Along with taking a stock take of your health, diet and exercise regime, with the added bonus of making changes.

Blue Blood Moon in Leo 31/01/2018

On January 31st, a Blue Blood Moon will be happening in the sign of Leo.This month we see our second Full Moon in the sign of Leo. This inst just any old Full Moon, it is a Blue Moon and a Blood Moon. Blue Moon is a name given to the second Full Moon of the month. This second Full Moon we see in the month of January is really rare, as you may have heard the saying before” Once in a blue Moon”. It’s also a Super Moon and will be very exceptional. Super Moon’s are closer to the earth and thus appear 14 per cent larger in our sky and 30 percent brighter than usual. Because of the Moon’s closeness to earth, the impact of the Full Moon energies will be stronger and a lot more powerful than normal. This includes the oceans tide so watch out for the big surf coming your way!

Typically there are only three Full Moons in every season, one each month. However, once in a “Blue Moon” happens every couple of years or so, that means we get a bonus Full Moon! This Blood Blue Moon will also be a total Lunar eclipse just to add more excitement to the mix. Blood Moon is a term used to describe a total Lunar eclipse. This eclipse is the first of three Blood Moon’s that will  occur between 2018-2019.

The last time we seen all three of these events occur in the sky (Lunar eclipse, Supermoon and Blue Moon) was in March, 1866. The term “Blue Moon”  is paved with mystery folklore and magic. The name ” Blue Moon’ with its mystery and beauty has even been written about in Shakespeare plays over 400 years ago.

Full Moons astrological are when the Sun and the Moon are both opposing one and other at 180 degrees. The Sun is shining all of its light to illuminate the Moon, and signifies to us that it this is a huge shift of perspective. It’s about completion of a cycle and its about being illuminated and reaching a completion point and shedding old energy.

This Full Moon being in the fire sign of  Leo, means that this month we are being showered with Leo energy. Leo is about being a leader, being creative, having confidence,pursing our dreams, self-expression and overcoming difficulties in a positive light-hearted way. We are playful, and enjoy forming connections to children and our inner child and simply wanting to have fun. Leo energy is one of self creative expression. This Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse in Leo means its opposing sign is Aquarius energy.  Today, look at the opposing houses that are ruled by Leo and Aquarius in your personal chart. specifically, look at where  11-12 degrees of Leo and/or Aquarius in your own natal chart. This can be a great indication where you are currently seeking this balance especially in regards to personal issues.

Today’s Full Moon Lunar Eclipse is aligned with an opposition to Venus. This will cause friction and tension between the planet that resonates to the feminine principle, beauty and love and the Moon, which rules over our emotional intelligence. Venus represents that part of us connected to feminine ideals of beauty, resources such as money/finances, relationships and the ability to form loving partnerships. This eclipse in Leo, is really going to push our emotions to the surface. Expect to feel the pressure as we are being pushed to look more closely at our needs, lacks, and wants. Find the old worn out and dated emotions, ways of doing things and processes. De stress your life, banish any issues along with anything else that needs to be released this Full Moon as we have a chance to really declutter our life and make progress through this important time of change! Eclipses are tied to changing circumstances, letting go and endings. We must make room for the new by clearing out the old. This months Lunar Eclipse will be happening in the north node and will be pulling energy in from there. The effects of this lunar eclipse due to the interruption of the Suns energy, will be felt for up to 6 months.

This Blue Moon in Leo has been considered as very fortunate and lucky, it truly is something to be celebrated. It’s a time to review and rewrite if needed your long-term goal and plans for the future.Seeing that this magic  Blue Moon is occurring at the beginning of the year marks a year of tremendous positive growth in your personal life. The next few days we are given a opportunity and an open a doorway into our future, don’t waste it.

The Moon forms connections with Neptune is Pisces and Jupiter in Scorpio.

The Moon enters Gemini.

Mars enters Sagittarius.

Today Mars, the planet that represents the energy of masculinity within all of us and the planet that rules over our inner will and drive, of our assertion and direct action, leaves Scorpio behind and enters Sagittarius. When Mars is in Sadge, the inner warrior and soldier inside us begins building, creating and wanting to explore. Mars enjoys being in Sadge more than Scorpio. As Scorpio is a water planet that’s related to emotions and Sagittarius is a fire sign! Mars feels more comfortable here, being it is the red fire planet Its momentum is progressing forward. Mars will remain in expansive, adventurous Sagittarius until he enters Capricorn on March 17th 2018. We will have a need to discover and seek new information, to travel and explore, to learn and expand our minds through interactions with people and places. You will want to take direct action in regards to your highest ideas and desires. First quarter Moon moves in Taurus.

The Taurus Moon trines Saturn in Capricorn and squares Venus and the Sun  in Aquarius.

We see the first quarter Moon moving into Taurus. The Moon in Taurus is making us get into the real world, its pushing us to become more serious and lay practical foundations that will see you through the long-term. Taurus energy is grounded, placid and earthy. Its rigid and it all about security. Its pushes us to seek comfort and security in our world. However, the Moon and Taurus go hand in hand, and the both connect on a food level, and love to over indulge in the finer things in life such as naughty treats, alcohol and everything you know you love but should only have in moderation! When the Moon is in Taurus we also tend to become a tad lazy, loving to lounge around which is great if you have the option. If not treat yourself to a massage, take yourself to the movies or a late lunch with friends as Taurus motto is ” Why Rush”  and has an easygoing and laid back feel to the day.

The Taurus Moon than forms a trine to Saturn in Capricorn (More earth energy) and squares Venus and the Sun in Aquarius ( Air energy). We have a good balance of energies going on today. Between the earthy energy, which is about being practical, working hard and security and Air energy, that is all about ideas, communication, inspiration and insight. By using your ideas along with your technical expertise to make changes in your practical life, will come more naturally and easier today.  Such as finding a new job, making new friends, reaching out and making practical social connections. The Aquarius Moon squares Jupiter in Scorpio.

Now that both Venus and the Moon are now in rebellious Aquarius, it couldn’t be more of a perfect time to take a moment to consider the areas of life where you are resistant to the pressures of the traditional ways of social construct. Aquarius loves to defy the social norm and think cleverly outside the box. Aquarius now being in Venus makes it a great time to create a new way of  handling, working with and thinking in regards to your values, money and relationships.

Mars in Scorpio trines Chiron in Pisces. This is where the energy of the week changes. Mars being the male energy that drives our will and desires,sitting in the water sign of Scorpio, that is ruled by Pluto the transformation planet. Scorpio is wonderful sign, it’s very capable of identifying emotional truths and looking at these truths without fear and to transform them for the better. Now, Chiron on the other hand is a planetoid that represents the wounded healer Its the part of us that needs transformation so we can rise from the ashes. Mars in Scorpio with its strong ability now to really feel things and Chiron being in the water sign of Pisces means that we will be affected emotionally on some level today. There’s a deep intuitive, emotional and psychic energy present. Today is going to be a great day for deepening our awareness, transforming old beliefs about our self and is wonderful  energy for healing.

In order for you to heal these past hurts and old wounds, we must remember we need to feel these old wounds before we can heal them. Lucky we have the added strength of Mars to help us become and feel fearless if such wounds arise today!

 Capricorn New Moon!

The New Moon occurs in the cardinal earth sign of Capricorns at 26 degrees. This is exciting as this New Moon is commencing a new lunar cycle. This First New Moon and lunar cycle of the year will focus on the constructive traits of grounded Capricorn. It’s a time for us to focus on Capricorn’s positive traits such as being goal orientated, practicality, reliable, disciplined, to focus on our work and career and the foundations and structures in our daily lives.

This Capricorn New Moon occurs tonight at 9:18 PM EST. New Moons are occur when  the Sun and Moon join together, blending their energies. Causing the Moon to be in compete darkness as it joins the Sun and recharges its batteries,as one would say for the next lunar cycle.. This New Moon will be at  27° Capricorn. New Moon traditionally are a time for planting seeds of intention, to manifest your dreams, ambitions, goals and projects. It’s also a time to be looking at the future and setting goals. It’s a time to go inward as we the skies are pitch black, it’s about taking an inventory and taking charge of your life. Figuring out what needs tweaking or what you want to achieve in the future. It’s truly a time to set aside a moment or two, to reflect and have a serious contemplation on your life, that will hopefully bring you to an understanding of what focus of growth you want to begin in the upcoming lunar phase and most importantly how you go about reaching these goals.

No self-pity for earthy Capricorn which sometimes is a downfall as being to emotional cut off and over dedicated can be very harsh and cold. It’s about finding the balance and taking on the positive qualities of this sign to set achievable goals this month and for the year ahead.

One of Capricorn’s “lessons” is that we should take on board is acceptance, responsibility, boundaries and that setting goals for ourselves can allow us to focus on what really matters, that rules can actually offer us freedom by eliminating worry and fear.

This New Moon is about releasing worn-out beliefs in mind. Releasing what must happen before you can move ahead. Making room for the new. A new beginning is upon those who choose to make room for change. This New Moon is about becoming more practical and making long-term commitments, goals and change. We have the chance to create some serious order in our lives. The Capricorn energy forces us to recognize our responsibilities, and realistically nurture our dreams and ambitions.

This New Moon aligns with lovely Venus. Than forms a square to Uranus, and sextiles Mars. If there wasn’t a better time for us to realize that we need to break away from old, outdated patterns of thinking and doing so that we can move forward authentically and for our highest best good. Because Venus is involved (like she is in all 3 lunations this month with the Full Moon we had on the 1st, New Moon today and Full Moon Eclipse on 31st). Love, money and relationships (Love, Business and financial partnerships) will be a major  focus for us, especially in regards to transformation and positive change. Venus will also advocate that diplomacy and kindness is the way to move forward with our goals and desires. However Uranus in Aries may not appreciate this softness and feels less comfortable with this idea as it squares the New Moon. This means some of us may tend to lean towards being impulsive and restlessness whilst others are overly focused on security and safety. This New Moon, we may need to master and push past whatever is our particular blockage, whatever makes us feel vulnerable, to gain an edge on our own growth. With wild, unpredictable Uranus in the mix, you may find yourself wanting to move forward but feeling held back by some restrictive outside or inner force. Not to fear, Mars will assist you in finding the will and drive to push through these hurdles and to take action!

111 Master Number… What does this Number symbolize?

Do you ever see the same repeated numbers everywhere you look? Lately whether it is on my clock, the bus route, on a receipt, my heart rate on my fit bit today and most other days 111 BPM , I keep seeing 111. Even the date today is 11/1/18,  hence why I thought it great day to write a little blurb about the number 111! These numbers aren’t coincidences, they are messages from the universe inviting us to be an example of positive change, especially for people who are known as light workers.

Lets start from the beginning. In numerology, numbers hold a certain vibration and a certain power behind them, some more than others. 111, well this number carries the combined attributes and energies of the number 1 and the master number 11. Oh La La! 111 is one of the most powerful numbers in numerology, as each number is not as special as others, and this crazy cool combination has special powers, including manifestation and magic.

OK let me give you a quick run down of each number..

NUMBER 1.

The number 1 in numerology or if your birth number is 1 (Mine is) is known for being unique, independent and very assertive. The number 1 also resonates with qualities of new beginnings, moving forward, motivation, inspiration and most importantly self-leadership. Number 1 is a very positive number.

The Moon enters Virgo.

Mars in Scorpio semisquares Saturn in Capricorn.

Today begins with the Moon moving out of playful Leo and into diligent, organised Virgo. When the Moon is in Virgo we find our self focusing more on the finer details. We are serious, organised and very particular in the way we set out to get task done. However remember that the Virgo Moon can bring you face to face with the imperfections in life. Especially your inner imperfections and we can become very critical of our self and others. I say this often and i mean it. Be kind to yourself and others. Extend kindness to everyone you meet today,  It is more important now than you realize.

Mars and Jupiter both in the sign of Scorpio, are forming sextiles to one another tomorrow. This is wonderful aspect as we are about to head into a period of self growth and expansion, new ideas, new relationships business and romantic. It’s a real go getting attitude. We will really get into new projects and the spirit of things.

Mars in Scorpio semisquares Saturn in Capricorn. This is going to cause some friction and intense energy between the planet that drives our will and desire and the planet of Karma and the Master teacher.  Both of these willful and over focused signs being in an intense aspect could mean that our ego’s may need to kept in check. We may feel the need to become dominating and controlling of situations, but this is not the approach we should have today. Saturn is about lessons, so remember when we make decisions and actions out of fear we are not steeping into our power. The key is to take action from a place of love and balance.
