Today offers us a quieter day, a day to dream of travel and spiritual awakening. The Moon is in Sagittarius most of the day following a square aspect to dreamy, mystical Neptune early this morning. Get lost in day dreaming, arts or curl up and watch a movie that ignites your imagination.Allow yourself to dream, allow yourself to imagine any and all expansive explorations that you desire. With mars turning retrograde today it is not a day to try to accomplish anything or start new projects. This is a day meant for dreamers.

The highlight of the day is when Mars turns retrograde at 9° Aquarius. Mars will remain in retrograde until August 27th, 2018.When Mars stations retrograde, it is not a time to take action or initiate new things. It is more of a time when we need to re-assess our approach to getting what we want, our current projects or hobbies and our desires and needs. This energy is one of healing and a time to deal with the past. Look to the house in your natal chart that holds Aquarius  as you consider how to use this retrograde. Some can find it  difficult to know what we want as the shift occurs, as well as how to organize  our emotions especially the hot-headed ones such as rage, anger, control and jealously. During this retrograde phase, learning to reign in your will, rage, drive, anger and aggression and work to master these characters, that is the key over the coming weeks. It is also important that you examine how you have been using anger, aggression, and drive in your life. To make amends, to re-visit and release. It is a time to learn new ways to direct these energies moving forward.

The Moon enters Sagittarius. This is an instant energy booster as you get some spring in your step ready to and ready to go and ready explore the day ahead. If you have some steam to blow off today is the day! It’s great energy to be out and about, see the magic that is all around you, to mingling and strike up new and interesting conversations. It’s also a great day to get out and explore the world around you.. This includes booking a flight or adventure for those who need a little cosmic push!

Today we see Venus in Leo square Jupiter in Scorpio. Venus in Leo leaves you feeling confident within yourself , our wants and needs for affection and attention are high. We are playful and cheeky as we seek out someone to fulfill our needs desires. Venus in Leo is all about being in the moment in love, relationships, beauty and finances! On the other hand, Jupiter the planet of good luck , abundance and good fortune and in Scorpio, we have access and are easily able to tap into our intuition for guidance and luck. Today our good luck and abundance is gained by tapping into our selves and tuning in to what we really need intuitively. If you really listen to your feelings you will get amazing results today. So today its best to listen to your inner voice and feelings and work out what are the best circumstance you would want to manifest in your life! What is the best mode of action and direction that benefits and works best for you? Today it’s about thinking and knowing you deserve the best and thinking along the lines of “how can I improve my circumstances”. Which i don’t mind seeing its my birthday! Be careful not to slip up and get caught up in the moment and overstate your feelings, well unless you are sure that is!

We see the Moon which is our emotions form relationships with the Mars, the male archetype and principle in the sign of Aquarius which is the sign of “being of service, community and outward thinking” and Chiron the wounded healer in Aires, which is all about self-healing. It’s a day for self-healing by being around others! By healing yourself and sharing your story you are able to help those around you to step up and do self-healing. You have this amazing aura and connection to those around you today. People are able to see you for your authentic self and commend you for your journey, ts ok to say you have wounds to heal and yes you can find yourself amongst the storm and chaos. It’s ok to be bruised and still be happy!!!

The Sun moves out of Gemini and into Cancer.

Venus in Leo opposes Mars in Aquarius.

Welcome to Cancer season yay! The Sun enters the intuitive, domestic and nurturing sign of Cancer. Shifting us from  air to water energy. Today also marks the winter solstice. With the Sun in Cancer you will find that you are more focused on relationships and those who are the closet to you. Trust, turning inwards, home and family life will be highlighted this month.

Venus in Leo opposes Mars in Aquarius. this opposition only happens once a year. Venus and  Mars are sitting 180 degrees from each other. Venus energy is very feminine and Mars energy is very masculine, and as they oppose each other today you will feel that you may long for the either one or the others energy in your life. Whenever they aspect each other the potential for creativity, fertility and romance are high. This yin and yang energy is also great for sudden break through… especially when it comes to business and travel adventures. Launch that website, ask for a pay rise, book those tickets, make your big plans happen or just get things started at least with the Venus and Mars energy sitting so far away from each other ( As much as they are against each other today) they will eventually join up where they belong and create something new.  However this opposition will cause friction and you may find it hard to appreciate what you have especially as you keep looking over your shoulder for what you think you would prefer or always telling yourself something better will be coming along. Balance of the male and female energy is key today and appreciating the life you have!

I want to take this opportunity as a Cancer to clear up a misunderstanding I often see expressed about us Cancer’s. Everyone seems to know that Cancer is sensitive, moody, nurturing and tender. However, do not mistake our kindness for weakness or our  sensitivity at that.  Please, make no mistake, Cancer is a powerful sign in its own right! The worst thing you could ever do is take the trusting and forgiving nature of Cancer and abuse your power, we have crab claw’s for a reason and we are very in tune when we think something doesn’t sit right. Think of Cancer as the nurturing mother bear! Don’t ever mess with mamma bear Cancer especially if you assume she will not strike back!

Over the coming month it is a time to focus on home, family, emotions, inner experience and our connection to the Divine Mother.While the Sun is in Cancer, you may feel more drawn inwards, you may focus more on building deep roots and a sense of belonging. As your attention is drawn inward to your domestic life. Enjoy the more gentle, intuitive nature of this sign.

The Moon enters Libra.

 The Sun in Gemini forms a square with the Libra Moon.

Today don’t be surprised if certain challenges arise, as we see the Sun and Moon at odds forming a square aspect with each other. Whatever seeds you planet at last week’s New Moon during this 1st quarter Moon phase will now be firm in the pipe lines, your projects take off and you should be able to see yours dreams coming to life, however this is also a crucial point where we are faced with the first set of obstacles and challenges… I can tell you funnily enough mine are all to do with communication or lack off ( ironic as it’s a Gemini New Moon which is all about communication). Some of us are feel an urgency to take action during this phase and others may find it  difficult to know what action to take but you know it is time to move forward with the understanding you gained since the New Moon last Wednesday.

It’s the last day of the Sun in Gemini, since May 20th, the Sun has been sitting in this witty, intelligent, inquisitive, curious and fast-talking Gemini. Tomorrow morning  the Sun enters nurturing, emotional and  inward Cancer.

The Moon enters diplomatic and harmonious Libra. This energy is lovely as it shows you how to move forward in a peaceful manner in regards to past or hurtful relationships. Libra Moon days also teach us that the best way to move forward is to face any issue with balanced, dispassionate and objectivity. It’s a day for working in harmony with others and face your challenges with race and an open heart.

The Moon is in Cancer.

Venus in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus.

This morning finds the Moon landing itself in its home sign of  sensitive, nurturing Cancer. This Moon forms another sextile to the great rebellion Uranus, along with a conjunction to Mercury. Be willing to think outside the box and do things radically different is key right now.

Venus in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus. This clash will cause some  tension between the Goddess of Love and Beauty and the great  revolutionary and the rebel! With so much Uranus energy out and about expect the unexpected today, and a wake up and shake up energy playing out in relationships and finances. Your internal defiance is asking you to open your eyes to a new way of being. Uranus energy is wanting us to search for personal freedom and detach from others.Its pushing us to be free of attachments. These attachments include, people, feelings, responsibilities, detach from  situations and energies that don’t serve a purpose in our life anymore! It’s about evolution. Venus moves out of Cancer and into Leo.

We have a lot going on today starting off this morning we begin with Mercury who is currently sitting in sensitive in Cancer forming a sextile aspect to innovative, unearthing and some would say potentially life-changing Uranus. This exciting aspect will help us to link our mind, thoughts and communication with the planet of rebellion and unexpected twist in very unusual ways. Mercury and the Sun in Gemini square Neptune.

The Moon is in Pisces.

Today both Mercury and the Sun in Gemini square Neptune. This will stir up some tense energy and cause friction between our logical mind, our intuition and our awareness of life as a whole. Today clarity will not be as clear as we want it to be, and this clarity we seek wont be so forthcoming over the next few days. With the Sun in chatty Gemini and Mercury in play there is a lot you want to say and logically discus, but Neptune does not support such understanding.Watch as confusion and lack of clarity may be expressed in conversations all around you. Today it would probably be best to wait before speaking your mind especially in regards to sensitive issues. That means don’t rush into anything that involves trying to explain yourself or your position.

On a positive note today, expect the most unexpected and interesting conversations and ideas. With the Moon still in Pisces, its dreamy energy joins along with and Neptune energy to support your dreams, mysticism and intuition. Venus in Cancer opposes retrograde Pluto in Capricorn.

The Moon is in Pisces.

Today by the time the day gets underway the Moon has entered dreamy Pisces. Do not be fooled by this laid back and passive energy as we have a lot of  interplanetary relationships forming creating a build up of intense energy.

The Sun in Gemini aligns with Mercury in Gemini. These pair also quincunx Retrograde Jupiter in Scorpio. Shortly after this they form a powerfully stressful and anxious opposition from Venus to Pluto. Pay attention to what you say and what is said to you when Gemini, Mercury and Pluto are involved make sure you understand what is bubbling beneath the words. Today with the Sun and Mercury combining energy it is an important day for insights, solutions, communication, information, and aha moments.

Venus in Cancer opposes retrograde Pluto in Capricorn. This opposition will creating some friction and unwanted tension between the planet that rules over relationships and love and the lord of transformation. This opposition will be deep, intense and passionate but watch out as it can unearth power struggles, igniting power play and control dynamics in your personal loving relationships and your finances. Also look out for jealous streaks, being possessive and manipulating others or being manipulated to get ones needs fulfilled.Keep this issue in mind for today. The predominant feature of Wednesday is the fact that Mercury forms lovely aspects to two major players in the Skye. We also have the Full Moon still Sagittarius. With the Moon in exploration loving Sagittarius, take a walk, dream, wonder, or pray or teach someone something new, pay it forwards..

Mercury in Gemini semisextiles Uranus in Taurus. linking our mind and communication with the rebel of the sky and the revolutionist in expansive ways! Mercury and Uranus join together is great for those who need insights, for the dots to connect in your mind and those much-needed aha moments.What a beautiful day to expand the way we think.

The key for today is to really pay attention to the people we meet, the conversations we have and any repetitive thoughts that come our way as much could be being reveled to us.

Mercury in Gemini sextiles Chiron in Aries. Another wonderful link of our intellect, thoughts and mind  with the wounded healer and the planetoid of transformation. Do you need to have any healing conversations with anyone? It’s also great for having deep insights and self-reflection.
