The Moon is in Sagittarius today! A Sagittarius Moon is outgoing , it’s an exploring, exciting energy, not so much a looking inwards energy. Full of adventure and fun seeking magic is around today and it is very positive in its nature.

Mars in Capricorn squaring Jupiter in Libra can leave us feeling enthusiastic but also a little excessive. Today watch for being to over-confident and becoming to impatient! We can find our self becoming too overly focused on what we think should be or do and in the process, lose sight of what could be possible. Mercury Retrograde Aligns with the Sun in Virgo

Mercury Retrograde aligns with the Sun in Virgo today, bringing illumination and spark to our thoughts. Today information and ideas will be brought to light, we will have aha moments and new insights. This is a critical time for new ideas so pay attention!

We are at a halfway point in Mercury’s retrograde , well technically. This is due to Mercury passing between the Earth and the Sun at its inferior conjunction, this usually marks the midpoint in its cycle. This Midpoint is a great time for processing recent ideas, events and situations that may of come to light as well as for beginning to look at problems or issues from a new perspective or a better understanding.

Mercury and Mars form a square today . We could too easily found ourselves in disagreement with others, friction and tension could arise as Mars the warrior planet that rules over conflict and anger is squaring with the planet of thoughts, communication and ideas can making it difficult to engage in healthy dialogue and some can find it frustration to express how we feel .There is some feisty energy in the air today so watch what and how we approach others as we may stir up controversy with what we say.

The Moon goes from Capricorn into Aquarius today. Aquarius Moons can bring surprises at any time, Aquarius Moon may make you feel detached at times or inclined toward objectivity in your emotional responses and dealings today .

Mercury in Virgo trines retrograde Pluto in Capricorn

QUARTER MOON IN SCORPIO

Arh with both these planets in earth signs  today we will find ourselves going beyond the norm to find the hidden esoteric or psychological truth.  Today’s planetary influences give us the courage  for deep  communication, we will want to  get to the root or source of matters.

~But lets talk about Mercury and the next two months to come~

Today is an interesting day… First we see Mercury  at 14 degrees in the sign of Virgo, making a positive aspect to Pluto.  Now this it is worth noting that Mercury retrograde back to 14 degrees in the sign of Virgo before it goes back in direct motion in third week in September. Mercury will also be stationed at the same 14 degree when it goes back, there is something significant in this if you ask me..

So what does this mean for us? Well as we know Mercury is the planet that rules our mental thoughts, ideas, messages and communication. Pluto is the planet of power, death and rebirth, regeneration, transformation. So there is something amazing about this aspect, something empowering… this energy empowers your mind, the way you think, empowering new ideas. Paying attention to the small details that will help you move forward on your path…

We need to remember this is a mental energy, so whatever ideas and thoughts we come up with today ,when mercury is connected with Pluto we will be reworking them. Focus on the details. This influence will make us feel empowered to complete our new bright ideas and thoughts.  We will move forward and once Mercury goes back in direct motion in that same degree you will see a drive to successfully complete those new ideas, situations and new opportunities you have been creating for yourself.

Now remember gang we are talking about Mercury’s influence so look out for any new communications you may start this week with someone  of influence, someone positive, someone powerful that you may regard as a wholesome teacher. These conversations and communication interactions you have may  come back around and make a full circle once mercury comes out of retrograde in September.

Today and over the next week pay attention to what is said and what is heard,  as it can give you insight into what is going to surface and  be part of your personal journey during Mercury retrograde .

Tuesday August 9th 

We are in the last of the Cresent Moon phase as the Moon leaves Libra and enters Scorpio today. Scorpio’s energy is all about things taboo and secret, getting to the bottom of matters in a provocative but  quiet way. Scorpio’s Moon can influence us to be more  passionate, strong-willed, and some what intense and a tad obsessive.

The Moon’s trine to Neptune this afternoon promotes creativity and intuitive insight and this Moon can be very healing if you work with its energies.

Mercury conjoins the north node in Virgo today, this will align our intellect and conscious mind. Today we must pay attention to important details you hear and say, along with any new people you connect with today especially if the raise your vibration or are aligned with your soul purpose say a mentor or guru!

Venus is in Virgo sextiles Juno in Scorpio early this morning which for us means it is a lovely aspect for getting aligned in our relationships with others and with ourselves. We can be confident and clear on what we Do want and what we DON’T want in any relationships in our lives, giving us the energy to find balance.

This week and over the next month will be  bringing major evolutionary energies into our lives. So it is a must for us to stay open to growth and keep moving in new directions!

 Monday August 8th

Today we see the Crescent Moon in Libra  before it changing signs and enters Scorpio (an opposition to Uranus) on Tuesday, August 9th, at 12:52 AM EDT.

With the Moon in charming Libra all day, we will find the most satisfaction with our interactions. We are easygoing today, and also inclined to go along with people in order to keep the peace, after all Libras are all about balance!

Mercury is in the sign of Virgo today.  Mercury is the planet of communication and our thought process and Virgos are all about the small details so today pay attention to information, ideas, insights and communication that come in right now.

Today some of us will have aha moments that shed Light on your life, souls life purpose, experiences and personal path of growth and evolution.

Venus in Virgo trines Ceres (the asteroid goddess and Great Mother) in Taurus at 1:33pm, This is a great aspect for getting clear on what we want and what we value in regards to love, beauty, money and what our souls purpose is. Virgo is a sign focused on being of service, hard work, analytical, practicality and healing.Virgos are always paying attention to smallest details. Ceres in Taurus trine energy will give us the support we need to focus on the safety,security  and physical nourishment aspect of our lives.

Today i also want to talk about how today is a lucky day, 8/8/16 .Number 8 is Universal Spiritual Law of Cause and Effect its infinite. Number 8 resonates with the influences and vibrations of  personal power, self-confidence, wisdom, enlightenment, inner-strength, success, money, finances, and manifesting wealth and abundance.

Today  we should all try to incorporate  things that support these energies.

It’s still New Moon wishing time

 The Moon is still in the New Moon phase. So what did you  wish for?

Moon continued its transit of Leo until 3:34 AM EDT when it enters Virgo.The Moon squares with mars in today’s early morning hours and then conjoin’s with mercury/ squares Saturn whilst opposes Neptune in the mid afternoon to late evening. This can mean we are still figuring out what is reality and what is illusion! Be willing to look inside yourself and question things, are they really what they seem? Be a warrior for truth and see reality for what it is right now even if it means evaluating yourself,others and the world around you.

 

The Virgo Moon is  very practical and helpful. This earth sign mood is geared towards productivity, clearing, refining, purging, detoxing and organising. Virgo influences us to launch into self-improvement on a physical and soul level. Use this moon phase to be productive and focus on the details ,adjusting minor tweaks here and there. Virgo’s are very good at  being analytical, critical, and technical.

 How to create a New Moon ritual

How to create a New Moon Ritual

At each new moon , we can plant seeds for what we want to grow over the next 30 days. It can be literal “seeds” in terms of initiating new activities , meetings , joining a gym, organising importing events or enrolling in a course . Or it can be  symbolic ” seeds” , be creating rituals that help to ground our intentions. Through rituals we bring alive the magic forces that help create our intentions and heart desires.

Every New moon that comes around I use it as a checkpoint for my life, an opportunity to think of my hearts desires and as a self-examination of what I want to change and improve within, and around myself. Its like I get to re write a self “to do list”, it’s a mental, emotional and spiritual clean slate.

So new moons are all about

  • New beginnings
  • New Adventures
  • New Endeavor
  • New relationships
  • Positive changes
  • Optimism Hope and Faith

The New Moon is the perfect time to manifest what you wish to have in your life. It is a wonderful time to introduce new beginnings, projects and desires you wish for.

Setting your New Moon Intentions in Motion

I always begin by setting aside some time by myself at night, as its best done closer to when the moon’s power is full force. Don’t stress if this is not an option…  you can also do this in the morning, take yourself on a coffee date before work (I swear its written in a scared journal that this ritual is best done with the magic power of a coffee and melting moment cookie and if not I think it’s a new tradition that ill be passing on to anyone that will believe me).

Supplies you Need:

  • Notebook
  • Pen and coloured felt tip pens (For doodling and drawing magic unicorns and your new dream swim wear)
  • Your imagination

Optional supplies (That you would find at my New moon ritual)

  • Yummy scented Candle or incense burner, with lavender or peppermint to awaken the third eye and crown chakra,
  • Meditation music or relaxing sounds to help block out outside noise and help you unwind and refocus your energy to the task at hand. Or if silence or rock music is what helps you focus, than by all means I have created some very amazing wishes and intentions with Led Zeppelin playing in the background
  • Hot chocolate for  brain fuel (Because the brain can not store energy, it needs a continuous supply of fuel. As our brains consume 60 percent, or about 450 calories each day of the sugar coursing through our bloodstreams, that’s a justifiable couple of hot chocolates and a candy bar worth of energy)

Traditional ritual Supplies for the old school folks:

  • smudge sticks (Cleanse your sacred area with an opening prayer, a sage smudging)
  • incense 
  • meditation music
  • Crystal grid and/or alter with objects you find sacred or embody physically the goals you would like to achieve.

Here we go….

  • Light one or more candles, maybe create a crystal grid and/or alter with objects you find sacred, or embody physically the goals you would like to achieve like a picture of your camera to help you master photography, a clip of a place you want to visit, a picture of the body you want to achieve  ( through the intention of ercercise and diet trudst me there isnt a magic sure for weightloss).
  • Center your being and calm yourself in whatever way is appropriate for you. Take some deep cleansing breaths, turn on your meditation music to listen to, and/or leisurely sip on a cup of relaxing hot chocolate or herbal tea.
  • Relax, take it slow and let the wish and intentions flow
  • write in detail on what you would like to manifest ( it makes it easier to feel like you already have this when you can see it unfolding in your head in detail.)
  • Once you have finished writing your list, i what you want to manifest in your life remember that its very important to feel like these items are already yours, feel the emotion behind having them.. Happiness , joy, gratitude, motivated, empowerment, hope  and love.
  • It is essential that you keep your thoughts positive as this rises your vibrations. The universe responds to your vibrations like a magnet so happy, pleasant positive emotions carry high vibrations, so the universe will respond by giving you high vibrations gifts in return. Say if you want to attract wealth ,you think positive thoughts about money ( even if you don’t have much) and you focus on what you have not on what you don’t have. Same if you constantly give off low vibrations such as anger, impatience, worry, insecurity, blame and any other  negative thinking you will attract situations and people that reflect those vibrations, for example when something doesn’t work out and get mad and state ” nothing good every happens to me, or  im always the one who gets picked last, no one cares about me, im always get walked over by people, i hate the world” Emotional statements these (especially when you are mad, because you have so much powerful emotion behind saying them) tells the universe thats what yo want and that what you expect so it matches your vibrations. Understand?
  • Now this part is important, once you have set your new moon intentions and read over them, you must not over think or stress how they will come to you, no demanding ” why haven’t’ i got my new bike yet”, you need to trust the universe divine timing , if its meant to be it will be, and if you don’t get what you wished for, maybe it was not the right time for you to have it, I know it took me a few months of wishing for a new bike before one day i got to work and my boss had this cute white bicycle sitting in my office , he said he just bought it for his wife and she went for one rife on it and didn’t like cycling and he thought the bike suited me and how much i would enjoy cycling to work instead of waling each day….
  • When you do get to experience that magical feeling of crossing off an item off your list don’ forget to thank the universe for bringing it to you, after all the power of gratitude excels your power of manifestation

It should be noted, to keep in mind that our words and thoughts are vibrations, wether our words or thoughts are created subconsciously in positive or negative manor, so any intentions imagined, stated or written down carry power. So take care to really manifest exactly what you would like, by feeling that vibration. The saying “Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.” rings true here. And remember.. you are not to manifest anything regarding the free will of another person. So you can’t ask the universe to bring you a certain person, as the another person is involved has their own intentions you cannot control what he/she will do, and you cannot ask the universe to force someone to feel or act a certain way about you. So no trying to ask the universe to make Zac Effron to fall madly in love with you…. SIGH

BALSAMIC MOON IN CANCER

Today’s Planets: Moon in Cancer, Venus trine Uranus, Sun trine Saturn

The Moon is Waning phase  until the New Moon in Leo on August 2nd.  Now is a really important time for you to get clear on your intentions and New Moon wishes you want to manifest in your life under the New Moon tomorrow. The Moon continues its transit of Cancer until 9:12 PM EDT, when it enters Leo.

Remember in the Balsamic or Waning Moon phase is a period that is generally considered unfavourable for new beginning. So wait until the New Moon to set your intentions.

Today August 1st the Sun forms a trine to Saturn today. This energy influence makes us  feel grounded and stable. We are more able to tune out distractions and concentrate on what actually matters, and not focusing on the many distractions we have been letting control us in our daily lives .

It is the day before the New Moon so don’t be surprised if some of us are  feeling a tad out of sort, the pre New Moon energy can be rather mystifying and sometimes plain weird. Today we’re better off tying up loose ends now before  beginning something brand new ( our New Moon manifestations ) . Use this Saturn/Sun energy to face reality, feel stronger  and be a little more stern in our thoughts and task at hand.

The Sun in minor challenging aspect to Chiron as well, we may shy away from a full commitment making productivity slow but it will be steady.

MOON IN SCORPIO

Today Mercury the planet of communication and thought process , moves into the proud sign of Leo. This means there is an edge to all our communications. We are all a tad more proud, a tad more likely to  overstate our feelings or promise more than we can deliver, and the tendency to overdo is strong.

Do use the Leo / Mercury vibe to speak up for yourself and try not to point out any arrogance you may have towards others. 

Venus semi-square Jupiter July 14. We may  experience a strong desire for more pleasure in our lives, which can be excessive at times today. Today we might take great strides to get noticed especially with the Mercury moving into Leo.  Take care not to overstate your feelings or to set up unrealistic expectations in any  personal relationships, as they likely won’t get resolved under this planetary influence. Today marks the beginning of the 29.5 day Moon cycle, as we are having a New Moon in Cancer today  July 4th, 2016 .New Moons are a new wave of energy  that happens when the   Sun and Moon meet at the exact same point of the zodiac ( being Cancer this month)

As a Cancerian myself this is a very exciting month for me, a month of love, birthdays, happiness and today a chance to dream up big and manifest.

This Cancer New Moon offers us a chance to rebirth our emotional body. What do you desire to feel about yourself and your life? What Cancerians traits would you like to manifest and invite into your world?

Cancer is the sign of the Mother,Carer, Nurturer. Cancer symbolizes the womb of Life.
