This week in Astrology!

Monday 9/1/17 – Sunday 15/1/17.

What an exciting week! Several big things are happening this week and the energy is very much about moving forward. Many of us this week will have a feeling of momentum and wanting to move things forward. Now is the time for action!!  Some will take this action intelligently and some will take the energy and overdo it emotionally, but regardless there is a strong desire for change this week.

Mercury moves direct this week. YAY!  We will get clarity on issues that were presented to us early on December last year. The difference is we will not only get clarity but we will be moving forward on those issue, so think back what was happening to you around this time? Clarity equals action!

This week in our skies something amazing will happen that happens around once a year. All the planets are moving forward, that means no shadowing or retrograde!  This will be happening for the next four weeks, which means we get this comic kick-start  to get things going and move forward in our desired direction.

This week we will also get to experience a Grand Cardinal Cross! How exciting and liberating. So what is a grand cardinal cross? Well all the major players in the sky are in cardinals star signs. Now cardinal signs are those star signs that start off and begin each season, they are the signs that represent new beginnings,  fresh new change and energy. The Sun in a cardinal sign and is standing between Uranus and Jupiter in cardinal sign. This is creating a T square.but even better news is we see a Full Moon in Cancer this week! All the signs that start of the seasons are lit up this week, which gives us a sense of awareness and sense of enjoy on the surface! However be aware we can act very impulsive and  be highly emotional. With these placements the possibility of overdoing it, over indulging, being over sensitive and becoming highly impulsive and acting on emotions along with a few cosmic surprises coming out of the woodwork can be experienced . If you use this energy wisely it can work in your favor , with a little strategy and some thought you will prosper. This is because of what else is happening in the sky at the same time… Mars is speaking in harmony with Pluto, which is brilliant, because this means action meets strategy. Understanding of perception and how things are meant to be equal meaningful change, and this change can take place can from the root ! The result is a clear-cut path forward for us and the people around us. Transformation and change not only on an individual level but as a whole and collectively change, place your energy wisely. Were are you going to place your energy for change? We’re we place the majority of our energy is we’re we see growth, we’re can you see that needs change on deep and superficial level. The grand cross is basically a bunch of squares forming with the planets, and this translates into a bunch of conversations we need to have with our self , these conversations speak to our motivation for meaningful transformation to happen, they are energy ,momentum, so being smart about our actions towards positive change is the key at this time! Be the change for the future you want to live!

The Full Moon in Cancer tells us that our desire to change and to do something meaningful and that you personally passionate about, your emotional truth! Most of us out there all have at least one situation or problem in our life that has become unexpectedly difficult and this Full Moon will allow us to connect and see the truth. The momentum is there for us to make changes, trust your emotions and intuition, trust you have the right tools for success. Especially in the beginning of the week, revelations will be exposed , where we put our energy will be exposed and what changes need to occur? What do you need to release?

The Moon is in Cancer.

The Moon in Cancer trines Venus in Pisces and Neptune in Pisces.

Mars is in Pisces opposes Pluto in Capricorn.

The Moon is in sensitive, intuitive Cancer,and it is moving towards being Full… and emotions are building. There is also a caring, nurturing energy in the atmosphere. Today things, said and done will be felt on an emotional level.

The Moon in Cancer trines Venus in Pisces and Neptune in Pisces,  there is a lot of water sign energy floating around! Today we see Mars is in Pisces opposes Pluto in Capricorn, this means for us that there will be a lot of focus on water energy, emotional energy, intuitie and creative energy, as we have four of the most influential planets that are primarily about how we feel, sitting in water signs that are all about feeling .

Love and romance are highlighted today , but there is some hesitation and reluctance to take action on our emotions. It’s almost like we are swimming in an ocean of feelings. Today there is a potential to be so immersed in the way you feel that you can’t get out of your own head. You feel as if you can’t be practical, there will be some uncertainty and fear about change. Your feelings today may not be on the level were you feel liberated and carefree, its more of a time that we retreat and not take actions on those impulsive feelings.. However it is important that we find an emotional outlet this week! How do you get emotional therapy? Painting? Sport? Cooking? Photography? Walking out doors? Seeing a movie.. This week its important to get rid if this emotional baggage.

On a positive note the Mars-Pluto sextile gives us a clear moment to focus on our goals. It provides us with an opportunity to consider, with curiosity, issues especially in regards to issues where power play or struggles are an issue.

Mercury Retrograde enters Sagittarius.

The Moon enters Aries.

Mercury Retrograde in Capricorn makes a backwards turn into Sagittarius today! Mercury continues to retrograde until the 8th and then moves forward in the late degrees of Sagittarius until it enters Capricorn on the 12th When Mercury (The thought process and communication planet) reverses back into Sagittarius, we see a shift from practicality and being grounded to a fun-loving and optimistic energy. When Mercury is in retrograde we are collectively  being asked to dive deep to get to the root and Truth of matters and in particularly in the strengths and weakness the sign the planet is station in. Mercury in Sagittarius we should focus on opening the mind, be aware of where we are over focused in our life. Over the next few days pay attention to things heard, said and read as this is the time they can have bigger implications than what we originally may of thought. When Mercury is in Sagittarius, our thinking is idealistic and optimistic!

The Moon leaves mystical, dreamy  Pisces and enter dynamic Aries today. Water to fire element that moves us to a more direct and straight forward approach. The Aries Moon is assertive and enterprising. On the shadow side of an Aries Moon, our emotions can run high as Aries is ruled by fiery Mars. So if you find your temperature is rising and you’re in the middle of an argument remind yourself that it’s not a good time to lose your cool, take a few breaths and don’t allow the Moon in Aries ruin your harmony.

The Moon is in Pisces

Venus enters Pisces.

By this morning, we will all wake up to number of planets in the dreamy sign of  Pisces. The Moon joins Neptune and Mars is in Pisces and, we see Venus leave independent Aquarius and also enter sensitive mystical Pisces. When such a gathering of planets in one sign occurs, it is good to pay attention to what the Universe is teaching you through the energy of this sign, Where does Pisces sit in your birth chart?

Venus enters Pisces today January 3rd until February 3rd.When Venus is in Pisces  allow your intuition to guide you in matters of love and the heart, money, and beauty. Dreamy Pisces rarely sees the world in black and white it embraces all the colours of the rainbow and this will be the same in our love life this month. We are  seducible and seductive, compassionate and creative, we are able to forgive and understand.We are open and creative and have an intuitive approach to money, the pursuit of pleasure, love,beauty and art.

The shadow side of Venus in Pisces there is a longing for something that is hard to define and hard to satisfy. Our reality can be blurred and we enter into a position that allows ourselves to be victimized or act deluded,our borders and boundaries are blur under this influence.

The Moon is in Libra.

The Sun moves into Capricorn.

Mars in Pisces.

Today is a very nice , easy,  reliable day. The Moon goes into Libra and the Sun goes into Capricorn. When the Moon is in Libra you feel very comfortable being around people,communicating with others and building harmonious relationship. Libra is the sign of partnership and relationships, whether t is business or romantic, so when the Moon is in this sign, there is no better time to focus on matters romantic. However remember that Mars in Pisces is going on in the background, so you will tend to find you are keeping things to yourself. The nice relationships and the good times you have today are not 100% honest, because Mars influences wants you to hold yourself back, and keep a certain part of yourself hidden! This ultimately  doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy yourself and have a great time today, it may mean that you or someone you are hanging around wont gauge with you 100%,NO  soul-searching and gazing today.

The Sun is in Capricorn, we can really feel that our actions and matters are grounded. That any action and direction we take,we will get a positive results . The Sun in Capricorn is very black or whites, practical, we see that our actions have consequences and are very predictable. The elements  and energy of Capricorn are clear, positive, reliable and safe.

The Moon in Virgo.

Mercury Retrograde in Capricorn.

How are things going with for you now that Mercury has retrograded? Well some good news is that Mercury retrograde does not really hit us over the next few days as hard as it normally would. This is due to the other wonderful planetary aspects that will mitigated it. The full effects of Mercury retrograde wont be felt until the end of December.

The Moon is in Virgo.The Moon in Virgo is very grounded and very practical. The Moon will oppose Chiron and squares Saturn today. This is a great day to finish up practical jobs and matters that need to be attended to! From buying presents, decorating the house and finalizing Christmas plans. Today, don’t worry so much about the powers of Mercury retrograde, instead get those last-minute jobs done. If you are behind get things sorted, today is a day to take action!

The Moon moves in to Leo.

The Moon in Leo quincunx  Neptune in Pisces.

Today we get an energy mini break, as there is no major planetary aspects happening. That means today is a great day to recharge and teak a break. Today should unfold with simple pleasures and ease.

The Moon moves from sensitive, watery, Cancer to playful Leo. When the Moon is in Leo we are passionate, creative and fiery.  Today is a great day to reach out to some of your most loyal buddies, to cultivate and relax into the warmth of Leo. Today will be a good time to be playful, celebratory, and entertaining activities are high on our priority list.

The Moon in Leo quincunx  Neptune in Pisces. The energy around this aspect is really about the imagination and dreaming. So today there will be loads of optimism floating around in the Universe. You will have a desire to be out and about, to perform, or be in the spotlight. Whether it’s at a dinner party, being the entertainer, the joker or breaking into song at dance at a club !

Leo is the showstopper sign of the zodiac so its time to show off today. Start turning some heads and show the world what you have got.  Organize something fun to and don’t hide under your safety rock. Confidence and positivity is in the air today so use it wisely!

Venus enters Aquarius.

Quarter Moon in Pisces.

The First quarter Moon of the month!If you are not sure about what a “Quarter Moon entails” it basically means when the sun forms a square with the moon and that the Moon is halfway to being a Full Moon , this period is usually a build up and anticipation of energies

The Quarter Moon is in Pisces. This Moon trines the Sun in Sagittarius. We should be asking our self what are my hopes and dreams and how can i achieve them? Write a list , meditate on the question, even if you visualise yourself in 3 months, a year or the next 5 years. Consider what seed or intention you planted at the New Moon last Wednesday and take action to move that desire and intention forward.

Today  lovely Venus enters rebellious Aquarius, this will transit in this sign until January the 5th 2017.We will feel a shift from earth to air, body to mind, will move from being grounded to a sense of freedom. When Venus is in Aquarius we feel a sense of freedom and Independence!  Being friends as well as lovers is important to us during this cycle. When Venus was in Capricorn we valued different aspects of our relationships such as being grounded, serious and reliable now with Venus in Aquarius unconventional and alternative methods are more appealing to us. Venus in Aquarius connects on the level of the mind. This to us means a stronger friendships in relationships . So in the coming weeks be open, be receptive and be willing to try new things! Think outside the box in all areas that Venus rules over including relationships, money , love and self-worth!

Today with semi-square between Mercury and Mars our communications with others and our own ideas may be impatient, insensitive and we may feel very rushed! We may feel that we are inclined to be snappy and irritable. Working under this influence can leave us feeling stressed and ready to explode, find a healthy outlet for your frustrations and angry today Don’t feel as if you  are under pressure today, remember the influences that are affecting you before you blow up at someone who may not of deserved it!  We may too quickly interrupt others rather than listen causing a conflict of interest, don’t let this be your downfall.

The Sun in Sagittarius squares Neptune in Pisces.

The New Moon leaves Sagittarius today and enters Capricorn it sextiles  Jupiter in Libra, it conjunts Saturn in Sagittarius trines Uranus in Aries and conjunts Mercury in Sagittarius.

 

Today we see a shift from yesterdays energy were it was all about you to today were the focus is on others. Today is a great day to work with others , Look for the best possible outcome when working with others.

The New Moon leaves Sagittarius today and enters Capricorn. The Moon sextiles Jupiter in Libra, it conjunts Saturn in Sagittarius trines Uranus in Aries and conjunts Mercury in Sagittarius. Today the energy is very much about moving ahead! On the one hand you will want to do everything in a personal , unique way and on the other hand you will be interested in building positive harmonious relationships with others . Today this is the duality you will be faced with , YES we are all moving forward but which option will be the best for “me” should i go with option A or is option B more to my liking. Will you be a team player today or stick with yourself and that the real  question you need to ask yourself today!

The Sun in Sagittarius squares Neptune in Pisces. This dreamy connection with the Sun can be a temporary drain of energy , as the our conscious self creates tension with the planet of mysticism and illusion. Now it is time to let go of unrealistic aspects of that dream in order to begin a more elevated dream especially with the New Moon energy still in play. Begin to consider what you will create out of the cycle you are beginning to release now. This Sun/Neptune aspect is not a good time to make hard and fast decisions, instead go with the flow of the day ,allow yourself to dream, to envision use this time to meditate.

If you are struggling with keeping a positive mind set today with all this energy flying around, then this is the right time to make a commitment to yourself, while we are still in the New Moon phase. Balsamic Moon into Sagittarius.

Shoot for the stars today!! On a personal level today its going to be about expressing yourself and realizing your inner passion and fire . The Moon is in Scorpio until the afternoon EST, after which it transits in fun-loving Sagittarius. So there is a real sense of adventure ,enthusiasm and excitement the air.Today you will be hitting the ground running,g its a very positive day and a great way to start the week off .

The Moon is in its Balsamic phase today,and with a New Moon in Sagittarius occurring tomorrow morning, we’re better off tying up loose ends, finishing up projects than beginning something brand new. New Moons are a time for us to set our intentions and get clear on what we want from the month ahead.  Today is a great day to reflect over the past month.
