Full Moon in Aquarius 18/8/16

Tonight the  Full Moon occurs a at 25° in Aquarius

the Moon sextile Uranus  and Quincunx Jupiter.

This planetary aspect creates what is called a YOD. A Yod or sometimes also known as” the Finger Of God” is a rare astrological aspect  involving three planets that will form a long triangle pattern. The finger is pointing directly at Jupiter and has the Moon sextile Uranus at the base. A Yod historically signifies a special karmic mission, it has the energy of destiny or fate that it requires you to complete in order for your soul to evolve.

With the Finger of God pointing to Jupiter, the planet of luck  our good fortune is connected with faith. Faith in our self, in the new opportunities that we create or that have been presented to us. Faith that we walk into the future blind, but knowing that all our needs are met and that if we leap we will land exactly where we were meant to be. We must have the courage to believe in our self and our new path.Self doubt and NOT believing in yourself could cause you to strike out, remember the Yod is about karmic lessons so lets not come back on repeat.

Uranus is the key to resolving this opposition, it is an invitation for us to shatter old patterns and brings about emotional freedom.The Full Moon illuminates the rebellious side of you and gives you the courage to exploring possibilities it also brings out a revolutionary freedom that liberates you.

With Jupiter there is always the danger of going over the top and over doing things, combined  with the Uranus/Moon sextile aspect our new-found courage can often  provoke fear, anxiety and self-criticism hindering our soul progression.

 The Full Moon in Aquarius is progressive, creative and truth-seeking. It will do you good to purge and release things from your life that no longer serve your higher self. Tonight write a list of things that are no longer working for you or that may be holding you back, and safely under the moon burn the list and release what no longer serves you.

Repeat after me  Change can be a good thing.

The mission of this month’s lunar eclipse/ Yod is for us to take the new discoveries  and exciting changes in your life and turn them into optimistic plans for a brighter future.

Don’t let self-doubt and fear slow your progress.

Today innervation meets action. Today we must use all of the inspiration and unexpected sparks and put them into action.With the  Sun in Leo semisextiles Jupiter in Virgo, today is about aligning our conscious self and our ego self with Jupiter the planet of expansion, abundance and positivity. So look at all the new ideas, sparks of inspiration you have got this week  and implement them today , there is no time for procrastination. Don’t give up today , it’s not a time for weighing things up, it’s a time for action .. Don’t allow your ego, or fear, to spoil your plans. Stay open to whatever life is teaching you as there’s a growth oriented energy present today.

The Moon in Aquarius sextilies Saturn in Sagittarius and Uranus in Aries. Sensible and very ground energy today and with the Uranus in Aries energy supporting all of this making us more alive , action packed and spontaneous.

The Moon is in Aquarius all day, stimulating our humanitarian impulses and the need to seek inner truths. Venus in Virgo forms a trine with Pluto aligning the Goddess of Love,money and abundance with the Pluto who is known as the lord of the underworld, the planet of rebirth , death and new beginnings. This trine forms a deep, emotional, passionate and intense energy and some will feel quite passionate today and have an urge for for some emotional excitement and originality

Emotions are building as we approach a Full Moon. It’s a great day to go deeper in ourselves, with others and with the world around us it is a time of spiritual regeneration.

The Moon is in Sagittarius.

Jupiter in Virgo is in  opposition Chiron.

Pluto the king of the Underworld, of death and rebirth, New beginnings and endings, the wounded healer will be creating an oppositional energy with Jupiter the planet of good fortune, positivity and growth. This can be a time when we find ourselves hungry for understanding and meaning, but because these energies are opposing we may find it difficult to align our personal beliefs systems with philosophical truth that reflects our core self. Something might happen today that challenges our core beliefs, and the universe will make us  aware of it

Chiron opposing Jupiter can be a great time for healing wounds that we may have burred deep down and refused to acknowledge, unearth these past pains is the key , instead of running from it come to terms with the outcome and try living with them in a harmonious way  is the key right now.

Today some of us may  feel alone in our quests,in our personal visions, opinions, or plans for the future, as others may not see eye to eye and may not  seem to understand your vision. But just go with the flow and try and use the Moon in Sagittarius Fun, free, adventourous energy  to see past any  discrepancies.

Today rather than blindly following something that doesn’t truly serve our purpose, it is important for us to look within and come to a greater understanding of what we truly need or believe.

Venus sesquiquadrate Uranus today and tomorrow. This can influence some of us to be uncertain about the desire to be close to someone. We will evaluate the importance of freedom versus closeness.

New Moon in Leo

How did you go with your New Moon wish list? When planting seeds for the month of August we should be using aspects of Leo. This focus should be on Romance, power, fun , pride, passion, courage, self – confidence, self-love and  relationships.This month is great time to plant intentions surrounding these traits. Where in your life could you incorporate these wonderful aspects? Do you want more romance in your life? Do you want to improve your romantic relationships ? Do you want to do something that involves courage.. book that dream holiday? Enroll in that course? Where in your life do you want to feel more powerful?

Venus is in Leo from July 12-August 5.This is a warmhearted, expressive, teasing and extravagant placement for Venus. So for the next few days we will take pride in our love life, we will be generous and grand.  Venus in Leo loves to be adored, pampered, and admired.  We have a strong ego investment in our love lives during this period.

Today the Sun in Leo  retrograde Neptune in Pisces, which means for us this could create  friction between the conscious self and our ego.

The next 3 days the sun triggers the Neptune/south node conjunction, This influence will bring us face to face to things we may be in denial about, delve in any  delusions in our lives and any reveal any deception about our self and others that we may not want to see or deal with . it’s time to take off the rose-colored glasses and see reality in all it’s brilliance- shadow and Light!

MOON IN SCORPIO

Today Mercury the planet of communication and thought process , moves into the proud sign of Leo. This means there is an edge to all our communications. We are all a tad more proud, a tad more likely to  overstate our feelings or promise more than we can deliver, and the tendency to overdo is strong.

Do use the Leo / Mercury vibe to speak up for yourself and try not to point out any arrogance you may have towards others. 

Venus semi-square Jupiter July 14. We may  experience a strong desire for more pleasure in our lives, which can be excessive at times today. Today we might take great strides to get noticed especially with the Mercury moving into Leo.  Take care not to overstate your feelings or to set up unrealistic expectations in any  personal relationships, as they likely won’t get resolved under this planetary influence. Avoid impulsive buying today and hasty  decisions.

Today has been very interesting, I woke up and before I pulled the daily card I came across two pictures of Athena. Coincidence? Than I got to work and had a heavenly feather as I opened up my handbag. Today use the energy of the Goddess Athena in all thoughts and actions and see how well your day works out.

The Goddess Athena seems a contradiction because although she was born from the head of Zeus in armour she is best known for wisdom, purity and peace. Her story tells of a strong Goddess who is not afraid of battle but teaches that the greatest conflict lies within. The Greeks called her Athena and the Romans called her Minerva. The Gods offered the people many gifts, but Athena offered peace and so they built the Parthenon on the Acropolis and named Athens in her honour. Are you seeking peace in your life? .

Athena is about breaking old habits, old patterns and ways of thinking old cycles, use your inner wisdom and make new decisions with the new knowledge and wisdom of old lessons. Detach from drama.

Athena wants you to quiet your mind and listen to your inner wisdom. Don’t let others sway you away from your path.  If you have been considering something and the message has been coming to you repeatedly, stop procrastinating and go for it!! You can trust yourself and that quiet inner voice inside you, yes it is real.

This week in astrology….

The start of the week we get a New Moon in Cancer. This beautiful manifesting New Moon occurs on Monday, July 4th, 2016, at 7:01 AM EDT

The New Moon in Cancer on July 4, 2016 is the commencement of a new Luna cycle., thus ending the Gemini New Moon. Cycle. This month not only is the Sun is in Cancer, Venus is in Cancer and Mercury is in Cancer. Oh La La.

So what does this mean..

The Sun is in Cancer from June 20-July 22. We Cancerians are very self-protective and do a lot of inward looking, so many of you may experience this energy under this cosmic influence. Emotions run deep with us Cancerians and so any of you could experience the waves and floods of emotions we experience daily for no reason. We are more susceptible to the ups and downs of the Moon; even more so while the Sun is in Cancer. Nurturing and taking care of our loved ones including pets comes into focus. But remember to take some self-care as this cardinal sign often neglects their own needs. I am very guilty of this!! Attentions will be turned into our homes, love nest and most of all our loved ones and families, anything that makes you feel safe and secure.

From June 29-July 13 Mercury is in Cancer. Mercury is the planet that rules communication and thought process. While it resides in the sign of cancer it will be less of the logical mind thinking and reasoning and more gut level way of feeling, thinking, speaking and perceiving. With Mercury in Cancer you wont want to understand or be interested in things on face or surface value instead you will dive into the root of things, on a deep emotional level not a superficial one. Intellect and emotion mix to the point of inseparability.

Venus hmm the planet of love and abundance is in Cancer from June 17-July 12. Today marks the beginning of the 29.5 day Moon cycle, as we are having a New Moon in Cancer today  July 4th, 2016 .New Moons are a new wave of energy  that happens when the   Sun and Moon meet at the exact same point of the zodiac ( being Cancer this month)

As a Cancerian myself this is a very exciting month for me, a month of love, birthdays, happiness and today a chance to dream up big and manifest.

This Cancer New Moon offers us a chance to rebirth our emotional body. What do you desire to feel about yourself and your life? What Cancerians traits would you like to manifest and invite into your world?

Cancer is the sign of the Mother,Carer, Nurturer. Cancer symbolizes the womb of Life. Cancerians are the protectors,highly  creative and we feel things on a  very deep level, deep like the running tides of rivers and the oceans. As Cancer is the first cardinal water sign it is a sign of strong feminine power providing the symbolic water of life upon everyone we come across.The Moon is the ruler of Cancer, drawing upon the waters of creation in a tidal ebb and flow. There is a lot of love and good feeling in the air today! Even when I pulled the daily card I got ” Cupid”

Today as the Moon moves into Gemini we see Venus connecting with the planet Pluto first and then secondly with Jupiter.

If you need to liven things up with your love life, lover or you just want more fun in your life, then use today. Smile that cute stranger, widen your horizons by texting that person who you have been admiring , talk things through, feel the love.

Currently we are in the Balsamic Moon phase…. which energy is great for healing, smoothing things over , healing wounds.
