BALSAMIC MOON IN CANCER

Today’s Planets: Moon in Cancer, Venus trine Uranus, Sun trine Saturn

The Moon is Waning phase  until the New Moon in Leo on August 2nd.  Now is a really important time for you to get clear on your intentions and New Moon wishes you want to manifest in your life under the New Moon tomorrow. The Moon continues its transit of Cancer until 9:12 PM EDT, when it enters Leo.

Remember in the Balsamic or Waning Moon phase is a period that is generally considered unfavourable for new beginning. So wait until the New Moon to set your intentions.

Today August 1st the Sun forms a trine to Saturn today. This energy influence makes us  feel grounded and stable. We are more able to tune out distractions and concentrate on what actually matters, and not focusing on the many distractions we have been letting control us in our daily lives .

It is the day before the New Moon so don’t be surprised if some of us are  feeling a tad out of sort, the pre New Moon energy can be rather mystifying and sometimes plain weird. Today we’re better off tying up loose ends now before  beginning something brand new ( our New Moon manifestations ) . Use this Saturn/Sun energy to face reality, feel stronger  and be a little more stern in our thoughts and task at hand.

The Sun in minor challenging aspect to Chiron as well, we may shy away from a full commitment making productivity slow but it will be steady.

MOON IN SCORPIO

Today Mercury the planet of communication and thought process , moves into the proud sign of Leo. This means there is an edge to all our communications. We are all a tad more proud, a tad more likely to  overstate our feelings or promise more than we can deliver, and the tendency to overdo is strong.

Do use the Leo / Mercury vibe to speak up for yourself and try not to point out any arrogance you may have towards others. 

Venus semi-square Jupiter July 14. We may  experience a strong desire for more pleasure in our lives, which can be excessive at times today. Today we might take great strides to get noticed especially with the Mercury moving into Leo.  Take care not to overstate your feelings or to set up unrealistic expectations in any  personal relationships, as they likely won’t get resolved under this planetary influence. Avoid impulsive buying today and hasty  decisions.

Today has been very interesting, I woke up and before I pulled the daily card I came across two pictures of Athena. Coincidence? Than I got to work and had a heavenly feather as I opened up my handbag. Today use the energy of the Goddess Athena in all thoughts and actions and see how well your day works out.

Athena

The Goddess Athena seems a contradiction because although she was born from the head of Zeus in armour she is best known for wisdom, purity and peace. Her story tells of a strong Goddess who is not afraid of battle but teaches that the greatest conflict lies within. The Greeks called her Athena and the Romans called her Minerva. The Gods offered the people many gifts, but Athena offered peace and so they built the Parthenon on the Acropolis and named Athens in her honour. Are you seeking peace in your life? .

Athena is about breaking old habits, old patterns and ways of thinking old cycles, use your inner wisdom and make new decisions with the new knowledge and wisdom of old lessons. Detach from drama.

Athena wants you to quiet your mind and listen to your inner wisdom. Don’t let others sway you away from your path.  If you have been considering something and the message has been coming to you repeatedly, stop procrastinating and go for it!!  Today the Moon is in Cancer and  Mercury is in trine with Neptune

Well it’s a pretty glorious  day for anything to do with communications and dreams. Mercury the planet that rules our thought process and communication is connecting with the dreamy and inspirational Neptune.

Yesterday we entered into a New Moon in Cancer, so if you haven’t had the chance to make some wishes or intentions do so today…

So use today and the energy of Mercury’s clear thought process and Neptune imaginative energy  to make your 10 wishes, set your intentions, go as big or as little as you like and make your commitments for the coming four weeks. You won’t regret it. Remember you are what you think and feel, you are a powerful manifester so dismiss negative thoughts and feels and feel good about your intentions you wish to bring forth into your world.

The New Moon in Cancer 2016

Today marks the beginning of the 29.5 day Moon cycle, as we are having a New Moon in Cancer today  July 4th, 2016 .New Moons are a new wave of energy  that happens when the   Sun and Moon meet at the exact same point of the zodiac ( being Cancer this month)

As a Cancerian myself this is a very exciting month for me, a month of love, birthdays, happiness and today a chance to dream up big and manifest.

This Cancer New Moon offers us a chance to rebirth our emotional body. What do you desire to feel about yourself and your life? What Cancerians traits would you like to manifest and invite into your world?

Cancer is the sign of the Mother,Carer, Nurturer. Cancer symbolizes the womb of Life. Cancerians are the protectors,highly  creative and we feel things on a  very deep level, deep like the running tides of rivers and the oceans. As Cancer is the first cardinal water sign it is a sign of strong feminine power providing the symbolic water of life upon everyone we come across.The Moon is the ruler of Cancer, drawing upon the waters of creation in a tidal ebb and flow. Even though you may feel that you are not ready to start working on your heart’s desire, this card is saying that now is the best time to do so. In other words, even though you may not feel ready, you are ready right now.

This is about taking steps towards your true heart’s desires, both big and small. In some way you need to establish what you don’t need in your life, or what will interfere with you working towards your true heart’s desire. It could be the way you think, as you may have self-doubts, fears, worries, insecurities and other self-sabotaging thoughts. There is a lot of love and good feeling in the air today! Even when I pulled the daily card I got ” Cupid”

Today as the Moon moves into Gemini we see Venus connecting with the planet Pluto first and then secondly with Jupiter.

If you need to liven things up with your love life, lover or you just want more fun in your life, then use today. Smile that cute stranger, widen your horizons by texting that person who you have been admiring , talk things through, feel the love.

Currently we are in the Balsamic Moon phase…. which energy is great for healing, smoothing things over , healing wounds.
this is the day or night to connect with someone who makes you feel GOOD.

The Balsamic Moon phase is the final phase in the lunation cycle, the Balsamic Moon is the monthly “sleep time” ” healing time” “replenishing time” . During the next three to four days of this phase, your  vitality and spirit are replenished, refuelling you to start the next New Moon Luna phase. The Balsamic Moon phase can and has caused me ( and im sure a few of you out there) a depletion in our physical energy. Our physical energy is necessarily  low as our psychic energy is high. MOON INTO LIBRA

The Moon again transits Libra all day, so today is a good day  for resolving any relationship issues’s, use this time to make peace with an ex – loved one, partner, friend.Under this influence, we find the most emotional satisfaction when our interactions, whether they are with with people or our environment are balanced and harmonious. Libra’s energy is all about being diplomatic, fair and equal, so if you have a personal or professional matter on which you’d like to reach an agreement, today is the day. Pleasing others is a theme now. Conflicts tend to be avoided. Today is all showing people how much you care, so basically just a great day for love.

We are still in Mercury retrograde, Mercury is the planet of communication and rules our “lower” mind, this is where we perceive and interpret information that we receive from our environment, and how we relay that information to others.Mercury retrograde tends to breed a certain level of confusion and miscommunication, this can happen in areas that are also ruled by mercury such as travel, formal contracts, buying and selling, speaking and negotiating, documents and mailing, shipping etc. So remember no big plans are to launched, signed or released, hold up on any big purchases. Don’t book that big overseas trip just yet and dont sign any important documents or rentals or agreements.. if you can hold off do so for another week or so

As this lunar cycle is ending,  it is a  really great time to let go and move on. It’s also a time for rest and a time to heal. Change is inevitable……energy is always in motion….the wheel of Destiny is always spinning…..be open to the next step! Use the energy of the New Moon approaching to help guide , heal and set positive intentions.

Fun fact for today ~ Jupiter pops out first thing at dusk. It’s the brightest star like object in May and lights up the nighttime until the wee hours of the morning.

Once again, with all this planetary action happening this week ( if you haven’t read my Week Ahead berg click here )  this is a brilliant time to put a stop to any habits that are not good for you. Before you fall into despair over how to survive these astrological and astronomical shenanigans, just  remember that all of these events are simply a call for awareness,lessons,  healing, reevaluation and transmutation .

We are already feeling unbalanced from the turbulent  energy of Mercury Retrograde, and perhaps some of you may be  struggling with relationships as they relate to communication. If there has been a drama with someone and you want to continue the relationship, this is another wonderful time to release upset.

Add to that Mars Retrograde, the planet of war and sex and we shouldn’t be surprised to see sparks flying between partners.It is also a time to end relationships which are not working for you..  For some, those sparks may mean the beginning of new relationships or the renewal of old ones.

So how has every gone writing their New Moon wishes? Top 3 tips when writing and setting your intentions…

  1. Write your wishes and/or intentions down – either on a sheet of paper with a pen, or with coloured pens, pencils and so on. The more energy you invest, the better your results are likely to be.
  2. Read them out to the Universe then either bury or burn your list, or set it aside so you can check it this time next month, to see how your wishes worked out.
  3. THIS IS THE CRUCIAL BIT: Really, really, FEEL how you would/will feel if and when the wishes come true. Hold those feelings.

The veils will continue to thin even further this week and multidimensional reality brought forth. During this phase you will have the subconscious brought to the conscious through your dream and meditative state. Be sure to journal any and all as this will provide “keys” or “glimpse” to your immediate future. How exciting..

Don’t forget to open up and look for synchronicities, this is a very exciting week so expect more abundance in your life and blessings to come your way out of the blue!

Grounding..

Well this card has popped up the most perfect time…

This card is a signal that your energy and attention need to be grounded. If you’ve been feeling spacey, confused, or forgetful ( who can blame one, with all this crazy New Moon, solar eclipse energy buzzing around) this card speaks to the reason. “Ungroundedness” means that your attention is directed up too high, as if you’re not in your body.

A balance is needed between a focus on spirit and a focus on Earth. You can ground yourself by walking barefoot on grass or soil, by eating foods from the ground like potatoes or carrots, by rubbing your bare feet, by touching a tree or plant, or by visualizing roots coming from the bottom of your feet into the earth. Grounding will help you to better concentrate and focus, and will also increase your connections to the angels.

This New Super Moon in Pisces has and will create confusion, and mixed energies in many sectors of your world. This strong new moon solar energy brings with it strong opinions, creative ideas, lots of day dreaming, emotional healing and mystical events, it is important during this time that yes we can float away with out imagination and get lost in dreams but we must still stay grounded.

There are two powerful ways to get grounded. One way is to do a tree meditation.  First, stand up, or sit up straight and tall.  Make believe that you are a tree or visualize that you have branches that extend out of your body way up into the sky as high as you can imagine.  Next, imagine that you have roots wrapped around your legs that are buried deep, deep within the core of the earth, wrapping around your ankles cementing and anchoring you deep. Another  way to feel grounded instantly is to hold a large, smooth rock in both hands or crystals with grounding energy and vibrations.  You are now grounded and energetically connected to the earth and the Universe.

MOON INTO CANCER: We are still in the First Quarter Phase of the Moon as she moves into Cancer. This is a lovely, comfy, and homely vibe.
However, also today, we have the move of Venus into Aquarius, a far more aloof and detached sign.

So today, if on the one hand you want to “juss vont to be alone!” while on the other hand you want to smother someone with your love,  you now you know why.

My suggestion would be to go for the cuddling and hugging until someone tells you to stop. And then don’t be offended! Don’t take it personally!

Is there something that you are worrying about? Is there something that you are putting off? Something that you do not want to do but have to do? Well the Angels are asking you to be brave, go forth and do it! You never know it might not be as bad as you think that it is going to be. There could be valuable lessons to learn from this experience. Nothing in life is ever presented to you that you can’t handle, nothing! You are protected by your Guardian Angel. Even if you feel that you are in the dark, please know that The Angels are shining light on to you, protecting you, guiding you and willing you to go forward in your quest!
