What is a Birth Chart in Astrology?

At the moment you are born, a frame or portrait of the skies and heaven are reflected in a birth or natal chart. The Sun, Moon and all the planets are documented where their positions are in the skies around Earth, at the moment of your birth. A birth chart reflects the exact angles and certain relations between the Planets and Earth at the time and place of your birth. A birth chart is like an Astrological blue print.

What is an Astrological blue print you ask?? Astrology well… it is the study of that which is beyond the physical. Astrology falls into the category of metaphysics, but the principles of it are, the study of Planets and their connection in relation to energy and its influence on us as humans. Astrology on individuals can be determined my a birth chart and the positions of planets when you are born and this corresponds to a basic archetype of an individual behavior, patterns, character and life.

Life is energy and Astrological birth charts can aid us by, presenting a combination of energies that affect individuals flow, function, development, and possibly a further understanding of one’s life and its cycles, this and along with outlining specific traits, strengths and weaknesses. This is all subjective to the individuals interpretation of the data and how people perceive whats in front of them, as no two people are the same.

To truly understand Astrology and how it relates to yourself and others you must understand the basics and what they represent. This includes the Zodiac signs, The Moon, the Sun, The 12 houses of the Horoscope and how planets represent a different area of our consciousness and subconsciousness.

Moon is in Virgo.

Venus in Capricorn.

 Pluto in Capricorn.

Mercury in Sagittarius sextiles Jupiter in Libra

Today is a great day for self-reflection and self-pride. The Moon is still in Virgo and it trines Venus in Capricorn and Pluto in Capricorn. There is a sense today of how can i transform the practical things in my life so that i can enjoy and love them more. So what needs tweaking? your office? job? house?garden? your wardrobe?  Today you will be very clear and easy on what it is you love and how to identify it, and then you will have the spark of enthusiasm to make changes.. bring more of the good stuff into your life! This will give you a sense of pride and fulfillment and be full of optimism.

Mercury in Sagittarius sextiles Jupiter in Libra  this afternoon. Mercury being the planet that rules our mind and communication aligning with the planet of expansion. This aspect helps us to put thoughts into perspective and see the positive side to life, we are thinking in a harmonious, balanced way. We have clear, positive thoughts and we have the courage to reach beyond our usual boundaries. Mercury/Jupiter is great for those who love exploring, traveling and learning new fun activities.

The Moon is in Gemini and opposes Mercury in Sagittarius Trines Mars in Aquarius.

Mercury goes in Sagittarius and sextiles Mars in Aquarius.

The Moon goes into Gemini and opposes Mercury in Sagittarius & Trines Mars in Aquarius. This is a personal day,  Who am i? where am i going? what can i personal do and how can i help  to make things better, along with the world around me. Everything that is going happen today is very positive! This energy has forced people to look at themselves .. What am i responsible for? what are my beliefs? what do i care about and what kind of life am i going to create for myself. Today is a wonderful day to ask your self and question yourself where are your biggest talents and how can you implement those to help other people and yourself for the good! Today things will open up and you will get a lot of answers you have been seeking.

Today is going to  feel very active on an emotional level, as a cancerian I have already felt a serious of ups and downs ( it does not help that my star sign is ruled by the Moon either)  But when the Full  Moon is in restless Gemini its illuminates down Gemini qualities. The day  moves quickly, and we will gather information in all circumstances. Gemini Full Moons stimulating our desire to know more about the world around. It’s a very mental, logical energy, we are also curious about the people in and around us. Gemini’s ruler is Mercury – the thinking, communication planet so our communications may be quick and to the point, as we are mentally alert, energetic and enthusiastic. We can feel very  alert and aware, and idea can turn quickly  into workable projects.

Mercury goes in Sagittarius and sextiles Mars in Aquarius. This aspect helps aligns the driven warrior spirit within us with the our mind and our will. This is great for getting clear on what you really want and having the courage to speak up and take positive directions to achieve it. We will feel direct, decisive and honest. Just try to channel this fiery energy for the good and not come across arrogant and pushy no one like to deal with people who are over-confident, right and that make you feel your opinion is invalid.

The New Moon is in Libra!

Mars in Capricorn trines Retrograde Ceres in Taurus.

This New Moon cycle in Libra brings fresh and creative energy into our lives, and more specifically, into our relationships. This would be one of the more auspicious lunar cycle as the Libra New Moon is conjunct with Jupiter ( who is also in the sign of Libra). So the planet of good luck, fortune and expansion is in the sign of Libra who is ruled by Venus the goddess of love and abundance along with this New Moon also in lovely Libra can only mean positivity and expansion is set to unfold in our personal and profession relationships!! So gang, today put some time aside and set your intentions about what you want to bring into your life. Especially in regards to romance, relationships, beauty , abundance, balance and harmony!

New Moons are a great time when, whether you want more of the same or you want to change something in your life altogether. Use the New Moon energy to positively get clear about your hopes and dreams and plant seeds of intention.

Libra is a sign that invites us to bring harmony and start anew in our relationships. This month it is a time to work on re-balancing our relationships (personal and business) and to recognise our partners as teammates rather than our rivals. We will have a chance to build and develop our negotiating skills without compromising our principles or needs. Libra ruled by Venus has a beautiful ability  to bring into our life peace and harmony, love, beauty and the energy and means to help us balance areas in our lives that require commitment and effort.

Mars in Capricorn trines Retrograde Ceres in Taurus. This planetary position is about harmoniously aligning our will. Our warrior drive with the Great Mother Asteroid that rules over Mother Earth and the unification of giving and receiving through the exchange of our energy. Negotiations may be especially useful today as we channel our warrior energy to support and assert our needs and the needs of those who can’t defend themselves, in ways that don’t offend others. We feel compelled and motivated to take actions in our lives, nurturing our needs and bringing more security and stability  into our world.

The New Moon will also form a square with both Mars and Pluto, this may mean we need to overcome any resistance and avoid any power struggles that may arise. But with the Sun in Libra who is ruled by Venus in a close trine to Neptune, we will be more compassionate and open to making changes, also be willing to compromise and find the balance!
